餐廳於早上11:30開始營業,店外有寛敞的等候區,不少早到的食客也在此拍照。餐廳的高樓底突出了空間感,我們坐在靠近窗邊的座位,枱與枱之間外望白鷺湖,悠閒舒適。七味黃金豆腐帶微辣,炸粉薄身,外脆內軟,而且份量不少,四人共享也很足夠。黑松露野菌餃的淺藍色餃皮,透出野菌饀料,顯出點心師傅手藝。黑松露濃郁,同時伴著菇的鮮甜與脆度。古法胡椒餅表層撒滿黑白芝蔴,內饀扎實,肉饀和蔥花填滿其中,淡淡的辛辣富有台灣夜市小吃風味。鵪鶉蛋燒賣屬懷舊點心,鵪鶉蛋置在燒賣上;但金鷺湖則把鵪鶉蛋釀在燒賣中,咬一口後蛋汁緩緩流出,創新又不失傳統。家人很喜歡這道蜜餞欖角脆香骨,每一件也是厚切,肉質爽口,偏酸的口味很適合夏天吃。鮮蝦紅米腸在腸粉與鮮蝦之間卷上一層油炸鬼,其上綴以肉鬆,爽滑香脆兼備,也是必點之物。用餐後在白鷺湖散步,寧靜恬逸
