每次嚟九龍城,唔係食泰菜就係打邊爐,今日想食下潮州菜,朋友推介城南道呢間「鎔記潮州飯店」,聽講店舖開業多年,口碑一直唔錯。餐廳佔地兩層,裝修好傳統,環境同一般嘅潮州菜館差唔多,櫥窗掛滿了滷水鵝,而檯面亦擺放了各式各樣嘅打冷食品,滷水鵝隻隻都肥嘟嘟,賣相好吸引。先整碗韭菜豬紅 ($68)  過下口癮,濃濃醬汁滲入一磚磚豬紅中,豬紅夠滑,入味又有咬口;韭菜新鮮,食落完全無渣,配埋個潮州辣椒油,真係令人難以抗拒。另外呢碟春菜腩肉 ($68)  亦屬水準之作,春菜味道獨特,帶有微微甘澀味,剛好平衡五花腩嘅油潤感,加上腩肉肥瘦適中,配白粥或佐飯皆宜。食潮州菜又點可以無炸蠔餅 ($88),蠔餅大大碟,炸至金黃色,熱辣辣上檯,賣相十分誘人。蠔仔夠大粒,漿粉炸得薄而脆,入口鬆化又唔油膩,美味。最後上桌嘅潮州魚飯亦係必吃之選,馬友用鹽醃製再煮熟放涼而食,魚肉十分細嫩,有鮮魚嘅彈性,入口咸度亦啱啱好,配埋普寧豆醬吃,味道更精妙。
