個人一向喜歡香口美味的星馬菜式,雖然香港星馬菜館林立,但正宗地道的選擇並不多,大多混入港式口味以迎合本地人的喜好...是次親臨北角城市花園酒店,親嚐以地道的星馬菜式而聞名的沙嗲軒。走到酒店B/F 就來到沙嗲軒了,店內裝潢以木色為主調,環境幽靜,寬敞光猛。點了一共有五道菜的Tasting Menu。整個Menu 會同一時間上菜,賣相亦相當吸引精緻。沙嗲串燒燒得香口,配上附設的充滿香濃花生味的沙嗲醬更是絕配!海南雞已去骨,食的時候會更方便,雞肉嫩滑,而雞皮亦不會過厚,油飯不算太油膩,可是油飯似乎不太夠熱。由於本人一向對肉骨茶的藥材味完全無好感,而這碗同樣帶有濃濃的藥材味,恕我實在不清楚怎樣才算得上是好味肉骨茶-.-星洲蘿蔔糕炒得香辣惹味,但稍嫌不夠乾身,欠了點脆口的口感。最後當然少不了甜品作結,就是五道菜中我最愛的馬六甲椰汁西米布甸❤粒粒晶瑩的西米凝固成果凍狀,咬口QQ爽滑,加入了帶焦糖味的椰糖,令整道甜品的味道層次昇華,不會過於甜膩,但卻非常香醇濃郁。
