今天在這裡吃同事生日午飯。 9個人叫了7道菜,全部味道都很不錯。最好吃是炒蘿蔔糕,非常惹味。雞肉和豬肉沙嗲是最搶手的,大家都讚不絕口。海南雞很滑,很適合愛吃肥雞的人士。加多加多、炒通菜和芥蘭都保持一貫水準。麻辣雞翼用雞搥來做,很有心思的將雞肉褪到一邊,賣相佳,可惜不夠麻也不夠辣。但還是好吃的。一定會再來。

Our party of four hungry diners stumbled into Satay Inn "a taste of Singapore" in the basement of City Garden hotel. As a long-time resident in Asia and visitor to Singapore, I know how good Singapore food can be. This place is way below average. The chicken satay way ok but accompanied by an over sweetened peanut sauce. The Gado Gado was simply awful. Avoid it. The vegetable curry (Sayur Lodeh) was watery and bland. The Vermicelli in Fish Head Soup was tasteless. The Mee Goreng was very salty.

Our party of four hungry diners stumbled into Satay Inn "a taste of Singapore" in the basement of City Garden hotel. As a long-time resident in Asia and visitor to Singapore, I know how good Singapore food can be. This place is way below average.

The chicken satay way ok but accompanied by an over sweetened peanut sauce. The Gado Gado was simply awful. Avoid it. The vegetable curry (Sayur Lodeh) was watery and bland. The Vermicelli in Fish Head Soup was tasteless. The Mee Goreng was very salty. The only thing they got right was the steamed rice. Even the lime soda was bad with only half a lime!

The bill for four people... $800 for sub-par food.

Don't waste your time and money at Satay Inn.

至於油飯調味啱啱好,唔會太鹹亦很有香氣, 係我食咁多海南雞飯嘅油飯最出色嘅。
而主角海南雞 賣相都好好 雞嘅份量同質量亦都十分足夠,我冇特別request雞嘅位置, 雞既鮮嫩度我會比八分。 而鋪喺雞下面嘅生菜亦都有足夠嘅醬汁調味所以呢個亦係令我覺得比較驚喜嘅地方。

成個package 體驗都好好,建議大家一試。

前幾日的晚上,在北角想找個地方同朋友食飯傾下計,想找一個不太嘈又坐得舒服的地方,突然記起城市花園酒店,不想吃自助餐,就選了這一間!入到去目到座位都闊落,每桌之間有相當的距離,可以靜靜地傾下計,成日聽話海南雞飯出名,於是,就叫了一個,另加了喇沙和菜!不過,由於太心急,忘了影喇沙和菜!海南雞飯好有水準,面且雞肉好滑!喇沙好香好入味!值得一試!價錢係貴了少少,但買個地方傾計都值!重點係食完簽卡儲分之餘,仲可以有asia miles的積分儲,都好著數!

賣相是令人滿意的, 擺盤挺有心思. 例牌先吃雞飯, 雞油香未算太突出, 反而帶點香料的味道, 但飯粒就是幾軟糯的. 再吃吃雞, 肉質相當細嫩, 雞皮夠薄身, 實在是無得輸的水準. 當然, 要點上三色醬, 我最喜歡黑豉油, 鹹中帶點微甜, 令人吃過停不了口. 至於清甜的冬瓜湯也教人滿意.
