To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今天路經九龍塘,順道到附近的建新中心的「金記冰室」吃晚餐。這裏懷舊的裝修,木框、階磚,都是上世紀三、四十年代的風格,彷彿時光倒流八十年。還有很特色的咪形枱燈,是廣播道五台山的特色吧!看過餐牌後,我們點了“自選二人小菜”,有飯,有餸,有湯,有飲品。“客家沙薑雞”,雞肉嫩滑,沙薑粉又入味,非常可口。“新鮮菠蘿咕嚕肉”,咕嚕肉不肥膩,炸得爽口,配上新鮮菠蘿,酸甜開胃。“老火湯”,足料老火湯,材料有豬骨、雞腳、木瓜、菌菇......等,味道濃郁。餐飲當然不能少了我最喜愛的香濃咖啡。吃過味道不錯,份量又多,我還買了個外賣回家慢慢品嚐。外賣“鮮茄濃汁焗豬扒飯”,豬扒厚切,大大塊的,茄汁都很美味。
