To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 最近公司忙到連lunch都冇時間食, 又要OT, 個肚餓到打哂鼓, 同事建議食任飲任食火鍋, 剛好走到廣華街有間"火水爐"任食火爐, 幾年前食過, 印象幾多野食。餐廳環境以懷舊港式做主題, 幾有特色。混醬配料先上檯, 原來已經轉左新MENU, cut左海鮮併盤, 轉左直接打邊爐, 湯底以滋潤養生為主, 六選一, 揀左花膠海鮮雞鍋, 所有order都係click order紙落單,份量都以人頭計, 食完先可以再叫, 但嫌肉類每人每次order都只限獲分一片, 確實要全程不停遞order紙密密食!花膠海鮮雞鍋湯底, 上檯時店員建議湯滾起就食得, 有多件雞件, 肉質偏實兼有d鞋口, 花膠夠林, 稍微索左個湯, 湯底還算清甜慢慢嘆住個湯底, 等火鍋配料, 火鍋配料一次過黎, 一般平時打邊爐食既都有, 部份款式需單碟收費,豚肉算係幾嫩, 極上安格斯、美國珍寶兩款肥牛質素唔太差, 但每次比既份量慷慨d會好得多鵝腸唔肥, 質地好薄好乾身; 芝士腸爆脂,魚蛋很有小販既風味, 牛丸彈牙;魷魚同牛柏菜都好爽。炸魚片香脆罐裝汽水任飲, click order落單至於服務質素, 其中一位中年女侍應有侍改善,
