住大圍的街坊無人不知老字號<<新強記>>,主打雞粥,燒鵝,燒乳鴿。每次到大圍探朋友,指定動作先去嘆乳鴿,雞粥,一盅兩件,再上朋友家打攪一番。椒鹽魷魚鬚炸得金黃酥脆,熱辣辣非常香口惹味。蝦餃皮薄晶瑩,啖淡蝦肉。芋絲春卷外皮香脆,內裡是熱呼呼的芋頭肉碎餡兒,每口都非常滿足。雞札用上真真正正的魚肚而不是豬皮,十分足料。千層糕小時候最愛點心之一,心機之作,很多酒樓現在都會做了,在這裡可以吃到,甜甜的奶黃咸蛋香,是兒時的味道。雞粥點了一人份量的,想不到份量頗大的,雞味鮮,味道很不錯。乳鴿最後必點這裡馳名的燒乳鴿,要求原隻上原汁原味,店家也細心的附上手套。熱呼呼的乳鴿一撕開有肉汁流出來,外皮又香又脆,肉嫩,真香!今餐真是大滿足~
