相約一班好朋友聚舊,原本的目標是‘東來順’的,可惜居然在一個平日的晚上也會爆滿(勁!),唯有移師前往同是‘帝苑酒店’的‘Le Soleil’;我本身對越南菜認識不多,每次去亦只懂點生熟牛肉河/香茅豬扒飯,不過既然之前試過‘帝苑酒店’內其他餐廳/餅店印象都非常之好,‘Le Soleil’的質素都應該值得一試既。餐廳的位置十分之隱閉,要先穿過‘雅苑座’,再路過‘Sabatini’,然後上一段樓梯,便突然豁然開朗,出現一個雅致的庭院;中央的水池上是玻璃幕牆,白天的時候應該能透進燦爛的陽光,相當切合‘Le Soleil’在法文中太陽的意思。餐廳的裝潢也很有情調,有水池,有帳篷,更有昏暗的燈光和浪漫的燭光,每張檯與檯的距離亦十分足夠,加上客人不算太多,感覺非常寧靜又舒適。打開餐牌,選擇多到眼花撩亂,於是決定簡單地每人點一個菜。先出場的是‘牛油炸雞翼’,雖然我平日十分喜愛食雞翼,但在餐廳就比較少點這道菜,因為感覺上好像普通了一點。哪知道放入口中一咬,才發現這道‘牛油炸雞翼’毫不簡單,鍾意食雞翼的人其實都是最愛食那肥美的雞皮,而這炸雞翼更是將雞皮的甘香豐腴加強了至少數十倍,炸得鬆脆可口,散發著濃濃的

打開餐牌,選擇多到眼花撩亂,於是決定簡單地每人點一個菜。先出場的是‘牛油炸雞翼’,雖然我平日十分喜愛食雞翼,但在餐廳就比較少點這道菜,因為感覺上好像普通了一點。哪知道放入口中一咬,才發現這道‘牛油炸雞翼’毫不簡單,鍾意食雞翼的人其實都是最愛食那肥美的雞皮,而這炸雞翼更是將雞皮的甘香豐腴加強了至少數十倍
,炸得鬆脆可口,散發著濃濃的蒜粒香氣,食完後油香更是在口中久久不散;令我即使心中充滿了罪疚感,卻又食不停口,簡直是魔鬼的引誘;內裡的雞肉亦炸得火侯剛剛好,肉質細嫩幼滑,實在是非常值得推介的菜式。

另外‘香芒銀鱈魚’也十分出色,絕對達到銀鱈魚的‘必勝方程式’,即是只要有煎得微焦又香脆的魚皮,加剛熟保持著軟滑質感的魚肉,就一定會很美味
;芒果醬汁的味道不算突出,但伴碟的小椰菜則非常爽脆可口,只是略嫌這道菜份量太少了,都不夠我們八個人好好地分享,每人也只能分到一小塊。

‘炒田雞腿’是廚師推介之一,卻有點令人失望
,味道普通,而且可能醃味不夠,帶不出田雞本身的鮮甜味,不過肉質尚算彈牙嫩滑。

‘咖哩牛腩’,牛腩是預先炆‘腍’後再脆炸都幾特別,粉漿很薄身炸得很通透,牛腩經油炸過但仍很腍滑和有肉汁;我亦非常欣賞咖哩汁另上的安排,這樣不但牛腩更能保持香脆的口感,也能自己調較咖哩汁的份量和辣度。

‘咖喱青口’也是出色的菜式之一,青口雖然size不算大但極為鮮甜,淡淡的海水味,加上炒香過的大蔥,以及微辣的咖哩,就更能突顯出青口的鮮味。

食過各款主菜後,再來的是填肚的炒粉麵飯,‘大蝦炒金邊粉’,大蝦非常新鮮爽口彈牙,金邊粉亦炒得乾身香口,還有爽脆的芽菜絲,熱騰騰有鑊氣得來十分美味。

‘蕃茄濃湯米線’,與一小碟洋蔥絲,青檸,九層塔香葉同上,其實這些調味香菜完全不需要,因為蕃茄的味道已是極之香濃,酸酸甜甜十分開胃;內裡還加入不同的海鮮配料,有魷魚,帶子,大蝦,魚片等等,全都非常新鮮,和蕃茄的酸甜味很相配,實在令人食得心滿又意足。

‘蝦醬海鮮炒飯’,這個炒飯實是普通了一點,蝦醬味不太突出,加上這時已飽到十成十,所以只是淺嚐一口便算了。

結帳時朋友C突然話要請客,但大家鬥搶埋單都不成功,結果今餐的價錢是一個秘密。不過今次飯聚非常之開心,因為有一大班好友陪伴試了多款菜式,發現越南菜其實都可以很精緻,亦看得出‘Le Soleil’的廚師有心思地,在傳統的菜式中加入不少變化,使人驚喜不斷;似乎‘帝苑酒店’內的所有餐廳都未曾令我失望過,希望它能繼續保持著這好成績吧!
