必須要承認一點是,這裡的海鮮陣容相比起其他城中有名的酒店自助餐是較弱了點,款式上就只有凍蝦、蜆、翡翠螺、麵包蟹及青口。就連最基本的生蠔亦欠奉....不過小弟反正一向在自助餐不大吃蠔的,而且最重要的是海鮮的品質好,正所謂"簡而精"嘛....

試了大部份的海鮮,新鮮度是相當高,蝦肉結實而鮮甜;蜆相當飽滿肥厚;翡翠螺肉厚大爽脆;麵包蟹最好吃是它的膏,甘美而不腥.....

我吃自助餐的另一習慣是在吃熱點前會先來點沙律來墊墊底清清味蕾。自製了一道凱撒沙律,羅馬生菜非常鮮爽,crunton亦脆得不得了;另外夾了一點廚房預先拌好的茴香蟹肉沙律,肉的鮮滲進了菜蔬中,又是另一番風味....

試了一口咖喱,的確非常的"印度",口味濃烈杰稠非常重香料味及香,伴上印度的長米,實是天作之合令人欲罷不能;豉汁蒸扇貝也濃甜惹味,扇貝肉厚毫不欺場;星加坡式肉蟹味甜帶辣同樣惹香得大啃手指頭....

再巡一下場,喵到有我心愛的蟹粥,當然要來一碗....

粥底綿而甜;蟹肉不削身。暖熱的吃入肚甚是受用....

蟹的盛宴還沒完。這裡為慶賀酒店三十五週年,在自助餐陣容中還奉上了一只大閘蟹。縱然大閘蟹近來成為食安問題的焦點,但近年都沒有開齋吃蟹的我,當然不會理太多,還是食了再算吧....

取自老字號"老三陽"的貨色膏甘香軟滑。縱使不算是特別爆膏但對於我這個久未嚐此味的人來講,能吃到已是甚高興了....

除此以外還有半只焗龍蝦伴芝士雜菌汁....

龍蝦肉本身並不多,焦點反而是來自那芝香濃烈並有極多菇粒的醬汁上,入口惹味....

歇一歇後回氣,跟著向燒臘檔埋手....

乳豬皮薄而香脆,缺點就只是被攤涼而已;叉燒肉尚見軟熟,還可以;燒鵝肉厚味濃,難得是皮竟仍還脆的;鹵水豬耳爽爽脆脆很有咬勁....

搭單從熱盤拿了第一輪被搶掉,只剩下乾乾淨淨一條骨的蒸沙巴躉。其肉滑而不見嚡且皮極重膠質,怪不得能惹來一眾食客青睞....

這裡的味自慢是一小碟的海南雞飯。就算此時已飽了一半也得要來點試試....

雞皮不算十分帶爽但卻不特別膩口,肉是淰滑的;飯沒有很重油香但卻極具香茅味。伴著黑掹掹而杰撻撻的黑醬油及薑茸食,個人認為是能及得上星馬那邊的出品的....

坐在身旁的三叔公大讚這裡的燒羊扒。相信他的口味的我也來一件吧....

肉非常的軟嫩輕輕一咬便在口中斷開。只是若然羶香味可以再重一點的話個人會覺更好;同場加映的還有自助餐常備的燒牛肉。專道叫切肉師傳將帶肥脂而有焦邊的下欄部位給我,入口兼備肉香、脂香及焦香,於我而言,這所謂的下欄才是天上掉下來的美味呢....

吃至口乾乾,此時才喵到飲料,而且是比較少見的凍柑桔檸檬,用來降火以及清味蕾,剛好....

這裡的湯粉麵材料的主題同樣和海鮮有關,甚麼三點蟹、小瀨尿蝦及珍珠蜆皆全部齊備。不過前面要食過許多海鮮了,我的目標就只是想嚐一嚐那喇沙湯。故此自己就只點選了幾只蜆加上幾粒丸,再添上少許銀芽便ok了....

喇沙湯沒下很重的椰汁去煑,純粹以鮮及辛辣味取勝,跟油麵十分的搭調;蜆肉十分的嬌小鮮甜味倒不甚突出;來貨的牛丸及魚蛋只是典型的大配角,沒有甚麼好說的....

太太之前提過我有鴨肝多士的,但轉過頭又忘了去拿。幸好到了此刻忽然記起,出到去剛啱仍有供應,真是幸運....

鴨肝相比起鵝肝雖沒那般油潤但勝在香味更濃。用來配脆脆的小多士,實是一絕的finger food....

其他串物倒是一般 ---- 牛舌不爽不脆不是我喜歡的做法;紫薯則硬得要命....

吃至此處,竟然還在回味著那印度咖喱....忽發奇想,從麵包籃拿起一個海鹽包加上一個斑蘭口味的,之後掏了好幾勺淨咖喱汁來醮,弄得我邊食邊啜手指。太座看後還笑我付了那麼多錢後竟來吃麵包 ? 我聳聳肩,對之不以為然....

忌亷蛋糕很軟滑綿綿的,調味上則較為濃甜這一點倒令我有點不爽;Tiramisu酒下得超多超苦同樣不是我那杯茶;朱古力慕絲水準正正常常沒能令人留下深刻印象....

怪不得不少人也說帝苑的甜品是退步了....

但拉勻整體來說,這裡仍是城中其一能多年維持相當水平的buffet dinner....
