Restaurant: Tim Ho Wan, the Dim-Sum Specialists

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 看資料才知,原來添好運開業快十年了。記得第一間店開業時,地點在旺角近廣華醫院附近,我已經慕名去光顧。那時的店甚細小,客人又多,為了吃那個酥皮焗叉燒包,等位等了個多小時,沒記錯的話,一碟三個售價是$14。但印象中,那時的包還沒現在的好吃。直到分店愈來愈多,但除了港人外,去光顧的遊客亦愈來愈多,為免浪費時間等候,我只是外賣算了。到今日,酥皮焗叉燒包的售價是$20(深水埗分店價),而很多酒樓和冰室也賣這個包,價錢甚至比添好運還貴。但說到味道,我仍然喜歡添好運的。今早以為是閒日,打算來吃個痛快,怎知抵埗後,已見門口堆滿在等位的客人,九成是遊客。幸好我只是一個人,故等了十多分鐘便有位。難得來一次,便一次過點了最喜歡的點心:酥皮焗叉燒包、蝦餃和古法糯米雞(同樣是$28)。雖然今日那碟焗叉燒包的外貌不太完美,但味道仍然極佳,別處的無法與之比較的。蝦餃細細隻,餡料爽口彈牙,若有點筍粒便更好。古法糯米雞蒸得透徹,軟熟的糯米包著汁液豐富的餡料,吃下不會覺得飽滯。我無法吃得完全部點心,惟有打包回家再慢慢品嚐。同桌來自廣州的壯男,一個人點了一百三十多元的點心,其中亦有糯米雞,但他竟然吃得一件不剩,我只能說佩服

我無法吃得完全部點心,惟有打包回家再慢慢品嚐。同桌來自廣州的壯男,一個人點了一百三十多元的點心,其中亦有糯米雞,但他竟然吃得一件不剩,我只能說佩服二字了!
