Yum cha with the family. Was quite put off when we arrived cos of the low wooden ceiling, the table behind us was making a racket, and their noises kept echoing in my ears. The manager was friendly, said the chef was hired from some Macau Michelin restaurant. He highly recommended the freshly caught 油浸筍殼魚。Not normally a fan of 蝦餃, but this was definitely one of the best I’ve tasted. 保持維多利亞時代風格,裝潢中式雅緻,又如四合院般格眉、小房間環繞中央花園,不失為一寫意飲茶的好去處。

並不驚為天人,但味道唔錯,性價比合理,今午我最喜歡瓊州胡椒餅、麻辣濃湯小籠包,我會短期重臨試其他的。

中秋節長假期,book張4人枱同屋企人食飯。后園本來唔係on the list,喺其他高級中菜都fully booked嘅情況之下,今年中秋節就去咗位於1881嘅后園做節。4個人,十道菜,每一道都精彩。家中長老食得非常開心,大讚連最後一件紫米糕,都絕不馬虎,細心處理薄薄一層紫米,keep到舊糕香甜滑,作為飯後甜品perfect ending,令人非常滿足。(坊間好多時呢啲小糕點會相對求其)食物屬水準之上,環境高雅寧靜,服務亦好,值得推介。唯一意見係餐枱高度可以加高一吋,咁會食得舒服好多。
