老撾菜,真系未食過,什麼泰國,越南,緬甸,都好熟悉了,朋友今天約我去中環食老撾菜,聽到都開心,又有新意思,唔洗我諗。原來昵間野老細系明星,晤怪得岩岩見到個身影咁熟悉,好似在電視上見過...哈哈飲杯野先,香茅冰+凍奶茶,潤潤喉龍,開始今天的美食之旅。今天向老撾出發,未去過也要了解下人地食咩。白咖哩雞見求,好特別的名字,見求即系老撾的飯,呢度系用左紅米一齊整,好健康,白咖哩非常特別,晤辣,但有一種獨特的香味,撈飯食勁好味。另一個系白咖哩豬頸肉見求豬頸肉燒得好爽,好入味,有一d胡椒在上面調味,配菜方面睇得又食得。網蝦米子卷絕對要食同出面d米紙卷不同,佢d米粉系熱辣辣,好新鮮的,仲要好大卷,極有口感,咬落去的時候包住菜同粉皮,好爽脆!口感層次十分豐富。點上特制的麻醬,好昧到一個點。食到中間,見到有類似九層塔的香料葉,好特別!肚已經飽,但嘴仲想食。我地又叫左個小食拼盤,有魚餅,蝦餅,米紙卷,春卷又分素春卷,豬肉春卷,蝦春卷,超級豐富,可以試到很多種小食,另外配有生菜,可以將春卷包住食,另有一番風味!

炸雞翼配上灑在面上的炸蒜和醬汁,味道甚濃。若愛清淡口味的朋友可能會較抗拒。

筆者點餐時,好奇上網查了什麼是全米米粉
。原來全米米粉標榜的是沒有加入玉米粉。(如果找到的資料是有誤,煩請大家指正
。)


全米米粉夾起來偏硬身,吃了數小口感覺口感較為韌些
。寫此篇食評時再查了一次全米米粉的資料,原來過度泡水和烹調會令米粉變碎
。筆者回想起米粉夾起來都是長長的,看來廚房員工都頗為掌握米粉煮法



從米粉的配料,可以猜想其湯底大概用了香茅、乾葱等熬製而成。淺嘗一口,香茅味甚強烈

老撾湯粉對老闆來說是帶家鄉風味的Comfort Food,這個湯底用的香料不算多,特別在選用比黑豆蔻更有鮮味的綠豆蔻,再加上八角和肉桂熬煮而成,味道清甜,而且湯底煲好後會隔油,牛丸口感紮實爽彈,調味不會太鹹,牛肉取牛柳片而捨肥牛片,牛肉味一樣夠但更健康。

朋友想食咖哩,所以佢點了紅咖哩🐖頸肉見求,用左紅米飯,健康得嚟亦增加飯嘅煙韌度, 老闆娘話當地人鍾意用手抓飯, 所以飯會比較結實同黏糯,而且微涼唔會熱辣辣🤗。豬頸肉切成粗條狀,爽口彈牙,配上辣辣的紅咖哩汁,非常好下飯😋😋😋。廚師為左令大家營養滿分,還特意加了蔬菜拌碟,一碟就有齊哂大家想食嘅野👍!

I had given up rice noodles given the previously rather random quality and decided to try their 紅咖哩雞肉見求 at a price of $78+10%.Surprisingly it was quite tasty. Surprisingly it was quite tasty. The rice was sticky rice mixed with some red rice. There were just 4 pieces of chicken and the chicken was not so tender and was a bit rough despite some of them being chicken thighs. There were quite a lot of vegetables which was really appreciated. Interestingly, there were loads of potato wedges but they were not freshly deep fried. Fortunately, they went well with the red curry sauce. The sauce was plentiful to finish the whole plate of food and was slightly spicy. It was quite tasty and special indeed with the hard-to-find-elsewhere sticky rice and delicious red curry sauce. At a price of $78+10% including a hot drink for lunch at such a Central location, it was not a bad choice.

大少今日同我食團年飯,我哋去咗食老撾菜。呢一間鋪頭,大少同我都未曾食過。大少叫咗老撾肉碎太陽見求,見求原來即係紫米加白飯,再配龍眼梳打水。老撾肉碎太陽蛋飯,我見同泰式肉碎飯差不多,都係用肉碎,九層塔同蒜頭一齊落去炒,不過就冇辣味,同埋多咗隻荷包蛋。大少話個餐好好食,唔知係咪大少肚餓嘅關係,佢覺得個餐份量好少,唔係好夠飽。龍眼梳打水,用罐頭龍眼加梳打水,冇加糖漿,味道唔係太甜。我就叫咗牛肉老撾湯粉配南薑香茅茶。我叫咗湯粉扣抵,所以張相睇落去,份量唔係太多。我自己覺得個湯底偏鹹,但係大少話湯粉應該係咁。個老撾湯粉有少少似幼米線。大少個龍眼梳打水一啲都唔甜,反而我個南薑香茅茶就係甜嘅。我個茶,南薑味同埋香茅味都唔係好夠。我唯有當泰國花茶咁飲。我哋仲加咗是拉差牛油雞翼。個是拉差牛油雞翼望落去橙橙地,應該係攞是垃差醬去煮。食落去食到有啲辣味,但係又唔係是拉差醬啲味,味道有啲似buffalo wings. 雖然冇乜是拉差味,但大少同我都覺得好好食。雖然我哋嘅食物唔係真係10分好食,但係我同大少都食得好開心,有少少驚喜,所以我決定比好評。
