Salisterra居高49/F,加上餐廳的人不多,在金鐘鬧市,卻有偷閒的感覺。今期係Salisterra x 倫敦Cafe Hotel Royal的下午茶。三層架之前首先來個 raspberry sorbet 來清清口,之後來個truffle puff 。熱茶選了果茶 very burry fruit, 還配上蜜糖!另外,也點選雞尾酒,酒味不濃,很好!三層架有4款三文治,包括雞、牛、三文魚及蛋,每款味道都很好。三文治後送上鬆餅,分別係提子及原味。鬆餅大少比一般迷仔,但吃完整個三層架真的很飽,所以鬆餅迷仔一些更好。

Accompanied by Jane, we indulged in a decadent spread of savory treats and delectable sweets, all crafted under the guidance of Hotel Café Royal’s Executive Pastry Chef, Loic Carbonnet . From delicate finger sandwiches to freshly baked scones with clotted cream and homemade preserves, every bite was a burst of heavenly flavors. And let’s not forget the beautifully crafted pastries and desserts that were almost too pretty to eat! 😍🍩

After our delightful tea experience, we decided to continue our adventure and headed to  Café at The House. The café’s Spirit of Reflections installation showcased a curated selection of iconic designs by André Fu, capturing his unique vision and creativity. 味道及份量也屬正常

至於平時午餐會贈送的朱古力及甜橙皮條,由於在訂位上已經寫上是慶祝生日,所以送上枱上就作為餐廳給我們一份小小的助興品,有總好過沒有算是一個小心意!

☆整體上餐廳服務出品自己是屬於滿意的,若然唔係都唔會再三重返,不過自己就覺得平日更為抵食。

作為一家精品酒店, 定位和連鎖集團的高級飯店有所不同, 雖然是同樣的高格調, 但是私隱度更高, 而且餐廳不用多, 有一家高質素而又可以包含早午晚三餐, 甚至是晚上喝兩三杯聊聊天就可以. Salisterra就有這樣的功能, 而且窗邊位置可以從49樓遠眺維多利亞港及中環的景觀, 單純這樣比很多酒店的西餐廳來得出色.Salisterra也不是第一次品嚐, 基本上吃的就是地中海菜, 所以會吃到有法國及意大利結合的風格. 今次因為人多關係可以品嚐多幾度菜式, 最吸引的當然是原條骨上的肉眼扒, 以及馬賽魚湯. 前者肉質夠嫩, 肉汁豐富, 不會骨邊位過生而其他部位過熟; 後者的湯頭比一般的更濃, 而且賣相更精緻, 看起來似魚肉和海鮮更為突出, 湯頭味道夠鮮, 再加上微微酸味, 吃起來很舒服.蕃茄乾是環繞整餐晚餐都出現的角色, 從頭盤的牛肉他他, 到之前提及過的馬賽魚湯也有, 這裏的蕃茄乾果酸到剛剛好, 再浸過橄欖油之後, 更能突出其果甜, 甜酸柔和結合, 雖然不是主角, 但在提升食物味道之餘, 也更好表達其地中海菜的風格.

We had an afternoon tea at Salisterra recently. The food were satisfying in general, and the view was good as we got to see the Victoria Harbour from the 49th floor!🫶🏻

For the scones, they are served with two different sauces, which include the cornish clotted cream, and the strawberry and ginger jam. It tasted good as it was fluffy and fresh when served! For the savoury, the fried taro dumpling and hoisin duck was my personal favourite because of its creative design 👍🏻 The sweets were delicious as well, and the macaron was my personal favourite! For the drinks, I ordered the ginger blossom tea, which was the special drinks for the theme of the afternoon tea : Shanghai Tang x the Upper House. It was great and I would recommend this drink to people who like a slight flavour of ginger.

However, there are rooms for improvement of the service 🥲 Overall, the dining experience was satisfactory.

5 course menu以海鮮為主題,最為印象深刻的是主菜的Bouillabaisse,以紅鰹魚、帶子、青口香、黑橄欖,紅花蛋黄汁及瑞士芝士燴製的海鮮湯,香辣鮮甜,細滑的魚肉沾滿湯汁,入口即化。

Aglio Olio,平平無奇的蒜香意粉,賣相非常不怎麼樣ʕ•̠͡•ʔ,味道也毫無驚喜之處。

貝殼蛋糕充滿檸檬和果仁香,灑上糖霜像一顆顆寶石,很可愛;最後還送上了糖漬橙皮和巧克力,甜食控一定會喜歡💕。

I like sweet treat panna cotta the most. It is so silky. The sweetness of peach purée 🍑 and the acidity of raspberry sauce blends into one which brings a refreshing sensation. Not only tea or coffee these ☕️🫖complimentary drinks can be selected, but also summer iced tea. I opted for Peach Jasmine iced tea, 🍹and Mango chamomile iced tea. Look how photogenic it is😜Don’t forget to request sofa seats beside window to capture sunlight and the stunning harbour view☀️💙📷
