每日走路上班都會經過這間鋪, 我的好奇心戰勝了我, 我決定去試試.一走到門口, 見到放大的餐牌我決定叫 Explosive Piadina, 因為香港其實好少人知道什麼是 Piadina, 所以想試下他的質素. 順便一提, Piadina 是意大利薄餅的一種, 把薄餅皮煎到有一點脆, 再把食材加上去對摺.廚房一目了然, 食物即叫即做, 所以我也知道需要一點時間, 衛生情況其實還可, 見到有很多未清潔的廚具. 因為做Piadina的時候需要用手輔助, 一開始廚師也有戴手套, 但是當有其他客人的時侯, 收了錢之後沒有洗手或戴回手套就碰我的食物, 還好沒有吃壞肚子Piadina 的外表, 略有一點不太脆芝士溶化得讓人流口水, 蘑菇+番茄+肉碎, 簡單卻不平凡. 番茄有點太大, 影響口感.之後一天, 我決定再去試一下他的Pasta.這次我叫了Polepette Pasta (Meatball Pasta), 只要等10分鐘, 因為是Set Lunch, 所以有是日餐湯和汽水.份量有點少, 可是醬汁很香, Pasta上帶點溶化的芝士, 令人流口水 Meetball 的肉不夠紮實,令人有點失望, 不過都可以接受。南瓜餐湯只有半碗.... 味道沒有什麼特別價錢:Explosive Piadina - $75Super Set Lunch - $60整體來說還不錯, 只要把衛生情況改善一下就可以推薦

Stopped by for some Italian takeaway the other day. I'd seen this place an figured it was worth a shot.First things first: I predict it will not last long. It's not that the food is bad-- far from it. It's that it takes so long to make. The guy before us ordered a panini and was still waiting 10 or 15 minutes later, and we had to wait at least that long for the piadinas we ordered. They can't possibly serve a lunch crowd that will keep them in business given how long it takes them to make lunch.Here's what a piadina is (I didn't know beforehand): roughly, an Italian quesadilla. A 'pizzadilla.' The flatbread is different from a tortilla, obviously, but it is very tasty in and of itself.I got the 'picante' or whatever: pepperoncinis, spicy salami, and mozzarella. The salami and pepperoncinis had a nice amount of spice to them, and the salami was tasty. It probably had more cheese than one needs for lunch and the sheer amount of food actually resulted in two meals for me. So, amazing price for what's on offer. A-My wife got the 'traditional' and it had some sort of meat, rocket, and mozzarella. Also on the overly cheesy side. The rocket was a nice contrast, but the meat was overly salted by far. BI think I'll actually come back to this place and try their pastas. I saw their meatball sauce and it looked great. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're rushed for lunch, but if you have a moment, and don't care about calories-from-cheese, it's a fun experience. B+

在 9月中的一個星期六,我經過上環皇后大道中,見到有間新餐廳 <Piadineria Italian Takeaway>! 這是一間裝修簡約的外賣店,店子細小得很,勝在五臟俱全!烤爐、焗爐、、煎 pan...一一俱備。而且,廚具擺放得夠整齊!由意大利人老闆開設,菲籍店員們熱情有禮!在廚房裡的菲籍師傅很忙碌,見到來幫襯的食客,都會打招呼,還說他煮的食物好美味!Reaaly hard sell! 有位男店員好像菲律賓版羅啟新,風趣地說喜歡 McDonna & songs! 當時開業只有大約兩星期。所以,他們尚未準備充足!而感到抱歉! 菲籍男店員這邊收完錢,那邊卻用手拿沙律菜!完全無洗手或沬手;可見衛生意識差! 況且,紙幣含菌量高!( 根據網上資料:依附在紙幣的眾多細菌之中,以金黃葡萄球菌對人體的影響最大。這種菌可以在發炎的皮膚或傷口中滋生及成長,在一百度的高溫之下亦未必能夠將它殺死。若病患者不幸受到感染,短時間內可能會急性食物中毒,又吐又瀉。) 應該用上餐具夾沙律菜比較妥當!幸好!肚子沒有事!全英文餐牌,對各式各樣、豐富選擇的意式美食,真是看得眼花撩亂!我看看有什麼廚師推介?才作出決定買什麼!亦可先提早 10~15 分鐘致電落單!到達店子時,可節省等候時間!平日中午 11:00am ~ 3:00pm 供應 Set lunch $45 - 是日餐湯 + 指定意粉 / Super set lunch $60 - 是日餐湯 / 沙律 + 指定意粉 + 汽水。還有多款口味的意式三文治 Panini $45 ~ $70 、意式飯 Risotto $70 ~ $85 、意粉 Pasta $55 ~ $80 、沙律 Salad $40 ~ $75 & 意式烤餅 Piadina $45 ~ $80..... Super set lunch $60 ( Salad + Polpette Pasta + Sprite ) Salad 沙律 以午餐來說,總算足料!略嫌衛生方面需加以改善!這樣,才可讓食客食得安心吧! 眼見菲籍男店員「親手」 均勻的舖上沙律菜,自此之後,我不敢再食這裡的含菌沙律! 沙律綠中帶紅顏色奪目! 用的雜菜很新鮮!色澤翠綠!十分爽脆!又有層次感!包括:羅馬生菜、火箭菜、車厘茄...等。沒有加入沙律醬,相當健康清新!配合橄欖油及黑醋之類,口感特別味道輕盈!Polpette Pasta ( meatballs in tomato sauce, parmesan cheese ) 單叫:$70以茄汁、自家製意式牛肉丸、配合巴馬芝士,香氣四溢!可真是色香味俱全!意粉份量可謂貴精不貴多! 嚐出一定韌度,炒得幾乾身!巴馬芝士不論味道與香味同樣濃郁!食後一小時,芝士味仍徘徊口中!自家製意式牛肉丸有 5 粒,略帶微辣惹味非常! 只是肉質較腍散!缺乏預期的彈牙感! 水準上還是恰如其份!Sprite 汽水不予罝評!既然招牌菜是意式烤餅 Piadina,還是要試一試!可惜,不能跟餐,相對較貴!Tradizionale Piadina $55 Piadina 是意式烤餅,這裡自家製的,主要材料為麵粉、橄欖油、鹽和水搓成的粉團所弄成, 聽起來幾健康!男店員補充說 size 好像一個細 pizza。伴上色澤深綠的火箭菜 & 粉紅色的意大利巴馬火腿,顏色鮮明!意式烤餅富麵粉香,食起來帶嚼感!芝士焗至半溶狀態真誘人! 散發芝士香味又很香口!Parma ham 意大利巴馬火腿的鹹香可中和及掩蓋 rocket leave 火箭菜的苦澀,互補不足! 巴馬火腿並非想像中重口味,味道恰到好處!果然沒有令人失望!拿來食食得津津有味! 磨菇湯 $40 平時在其他餐廳喝到的磨菇湯,磨菇切成片狀;這裡做法則打成蓉,混合湯上面的橄欖油,質感濃稠。雖然缺乏一點口感, 但是充滿菌香及味道更為濃郁取勝!可是,盛載的兜細如一般 size 杯麵的杯,實在細得可憐! 伴上的 herb bread 吸收湯後,完全是發水麵包不好食了!以 $40 來說,價位確實進取! 我寧願幫襯附近的 <Chez Meli Melo>!
