This is not our first visit and last time the food was good but just annoying service and singing so this has been stopping us from revisiting. Besides, the reviews here aren't doing them any good.In today's standard, the restaurant is over staffed but unfortunately, quantity doesn't mean quality. In today's standard, the restaurant is over staffed but unfortunately, quantity doesn't mean quality. I was offered the food menu only when we sat down and no drinks menu, only 15-20mins later, the western lady noticed this and gave me one. Did anyone proactively come and took our order? No.

Finally, we got some attention and the server took our order but were we being asked about whether we want our dishes in tapas size or full meal? No. Did she repeat our orders? No. Was I being asked whether I wanted another glass? No.

Food and drink wise:
Sangria- very diluted. cannot taste of anything
Seafood Paella- too rich for my taste
Other tapas dishes- think those on Hollywood road are way better
Iberico- thought I can get better quality at restaurants, maybe i should pop over to Citysuper across the street. for $200- definitely not worth it. Nowhere near to the ones I had last time.

Music is good and thankfully, they dont go around the tables and sing right next to your ears anymore. Even though their singing is good, is really not my cup of tea during meal times.

Also, do note that the bottom of the menu says the min charge per person is $350. I think this is the most 小家 thing one restaurant can do. Remember this is a restaurant, not a corner cafe.

一到步, 見到餐廳都唔算多人, 可能假日少人黎,D人未起身, 侍應送上MENU同開水, 基本的3 courses $98 已包沙律或湯連主菜, 想豐富D可選full set, 比基本的多了welcome drink、甜品和飲品, 也只是$138, 都不用多想, 一定係FULL SET 啦~~~主菜有成十幾款, 餐廰必食既海鮮飯, 燒乳豬都有得揀, 絕無HEA 場, 唔係因為LUNCH就俾D無咁好既野你揀, 抵讚!!

小妹重點分享:

1.Welcome DRINK 可選西班牙出名既SANGRIA, 其實就係紅酒加少少威士忌再
2.LEE間D湯真係無得挑剔, 夜晚叫都成6X-7X一碗, 而家個LUNCH SET 百幾蚊都包埋湯, 真係只可以講句超值黎形容, 我地揀左磨菇湯同海鮮湯, 兩款湯一飲已經知道唔係用粉溝出黎, 再求其加D料就算, 係真係用真材實料煲成,
磨菇湯質感濃稠,菇菌同忌廉配合得天衣無蓬,加上菇菌粒,喝起來覺得很豐富, 令人一飲再飲回味無窮!真係白飯送湯都可以當一餐~~~ 海鮮湯賣相都好靚, 口感好似好細滑濃稠的龍蝦湯, 完全係我杯茶.
3.主菜完全唔洗講~~~又係超值, 試諗下晚上叫一個海鮮飯或燒乳豬都成$3XX, 但係而家百幾蚊又Welcome drink 又湯又主菜又甜品, 雖然LUNCH SET主菜份量係細過晚市, 但係好多時兩個人食飯, 個主菜 份量太大叫唔到好多款, 亦都食唔灑, 我覺得LEE個LUNCH SET SIDE就剛剛好, 因為之前黎食多數係叫海鮮飯, 今次想試第二款, 叫左BLACK RICE, 其實就係墨魚汁飯, LEE度既飯係要即叫即整, 大約成30-40分鐘先會整好, 個人覺得LEE個BLACK RICE好味, 因為我係西班牙或係FANDANGO食過既海鮮飯既味道都好似港色既排骨飯…真係好奇怪!!燒乳豬就真係好好味, 個皮好脆肉又好滑~~~係必食推介=)
4.甜品都好好味~~~絕唔係HEA 底, 有相為証~~~

如果想試又平又正宗既西班牙菜,FANDANGO既SET LUNCH係大家既不二之選

Seafood Paella,$368,以黑色淺而平的鐵盤送上西班牙飯,飯還是十分的熱燙燙,深橙紅的飯上鋪滿海鮮如大蝦、蜆、青口及帶子,賣相挺不錯。飯口感帶點濕,飯粒有點咬口不太軟腍,而且吸收了海鮮的精華,味道香濃,也嚐到鮮味,加上少許帶酸的也不錯,但藏紅花味則不太明顯,否則更甜香入味。

Roasted Suckling Ping in Segovia Way,$288,西班牙烤乳豬,皮烤得帶點微脆,不過未算十分香,肉也算軟腍,脂肪比例尚也適中,但味道不算十分突出,不夠甘香。

一室的橙紅和原木色, 鮮明卻來得和諧, 帶絲絲暖意, 充分突現民族那份熱情奔放的特性, 樓底不算高, 猶幸沒將檯靠得太近, 將一點私密度也帶走。 背後的設計意念獨特, 劃分成幾個角落, 純白色帶花紋的間隔, 進佔每個角落, 不失優雅,在多種綠色植物的烘托下, 更有庭園的感覺, 隱含一番美好燦爛。

其實不下一次聽別人大讚食物的水準, 即使是set lunch, 水準也得以保持, 沒急降以配合低價。 基本的3 course($98)已包沙律或湯連主菜, 另配上麵包和tapas,想豐富盡興一點的話更可選full set, 比基本的多了welcome drink、甜品和飲品, 也只是$138。 再細看各類別的選擇, 特別是主菜一項, 足有十二款之多, 不乏地道的名菜, 真令人不知從何入手。 但既是西班牙菜, 自然要切合主題, 特挑些富特色的菜式。

明明酒量淺得很, 但又難逃好奇的心態, 偏要點杯sangria, 以紅酒為基調, 隨意混入果汁製成, 是當地極受歡迎的飲料, 酒香被沖淡, 不太易醉, 只是不太習慣那份甘澀, 最終要剩回大半杯。

初時還在猜想會何種的tapas, 原來是橄欖和番茄茸。 選用青黑兩種橄欖, 圓潤飽滿, 當中的細核已細心去掉, 吃時更為安心, 簡單以油醋拌過, 爽嫩細軟, 風味各有不同, 咸香味突出, 但未算太驚人。 番茄粒充分跟橄欖油和蒜蓉混過, 茄味濃郁, 單吃出色, 但我更喜歡塗在麵包, 滋味倍增。

餐包就像是長法包的純樸口味, 沒過多的油份打造, 經充分的加熱後, 外皮薄身香脆, 仍有一絲的韌度, 包心綿密不過濕, 一咬之下, 也不會馬上黏成一糰, 氣孔不如傳統的粗大, 麵粉香氣不俗。

在外吃過這麼多西餐, 相信fandango是少有地在set lunch中供著這麼多款式的湯, 既有有名地道的凍湯, 也有較普及化的大蒜、海鮮湯, 愛湯的我可說是樂透了。 wild mushroom soup端來時, 已傳來撲鼻清新的菌香, 再看那灰啡的色澤, 滿佈黑色的顆粒, 還有那稠度, 是相當的對辦。

淺嚐一口, 是合心意的熱度, 順滑細緻, 不會稠得像茨汁般可怕。 將蘑菇充分打勻, 每口都見菇的痕跡, 菌香盡出, 忌廉的表現恰如其份, 沒主導一切, 搶去主角的風頭, 反而盡力襯托, 奶香香醇, 將那份幽香延長, 沒即時散去。 然而拌打時沒過份徹底, 以致咬感全失, 仍蘊含些菇粒, 更添咬口。 看似簡單的用料, 卻有著不平凡的味道, 如此重視細節, 實值得一讚。

湯之外亦選了mediterranean salad, 眼前是一碟嫩綠的菜葉, 配料多重, 還有點晴的黑醋汁, 多種色彩交錯之下, 是有頃刻的振奮, 胃口不自覺大開。 喜見沙律菜呈翠綠, 很是爽嫩, 藏著豐盈的汁水, 混過少許橄欖油, 更富油潤光澤感, 伴以烚蛋、吞拿魚、橄欖、feta cheese、車厘茄, 都是最新鮮純正的用料, 帶出豐富的層次
, 美味就是這樣簡單。

本身愛吃魚, 中式西式泰式的烹調都兼取, 然而總會有些心水的魚種, 就如鱈魚和海鱸魚, 愛那肉質和獨有的魚香, 更愛那甚高的可塑性。 所以當看到black cod in green sauce, 已即時被迷住了。 成品以小砵盛著, 鱈魚都被浸在淡橙色的湯汁之中, 旁邊圍有數隻鮮蜆, 滿有簡樸的情懷。 但餐牌明明提到配green sauce, 還是我會錯意?


煮製魚肉時, 火侯一定拿捏準繩, 稍一過火, 都會落得粗糙的下場。 看來廚子的技巧很夠, 成熟恰到好處, 肉質細嫩, 成一瓣瓣, 柔軟不失爽滑, 厚身的版本更突出肥美的優處, 油潤非常, 魚油流過每部位, 甘甜鮮味至極
。 相較之下, 那口湯的實力都不容少看, 是精華之所在, 魚肉和蜆本身的咸香甜味帶進裡頭, 美味得沒辦法不喝光呢!

主菜方面雖有最愛的牛扒和羊架, 但總想將機會留給較具地道風味的roasted suckling pig segoviaway。 也許製作需時, 預上廿多分鐘, 即製自當被箇中的誠意打動, 美味的東西就算多等一會也不為過。 獲分配的一份是近大腿的位置, 斜放起來, 美感真提升不少。

趁最新鮮燙熱的狀態嚐味, 外皮不感厚實, 跟中式的芝麻皮不同, 較為光滑令面, 乍看未必即時感受到那股脆度, 實情是香脆鬆化, 透薄卻未像紙般單薄, 乃有一定的質感, 底下連著薄片的油脂層, 同吃之下充分展現那份油香, 脆皮既, 瘦肉卻非棄之不惜
, 比例遠多於骨頭, 腍滑帶幾分彈性, 絲毫不覺乾硬, 咸味淡淡的, 那陣豬肉的香味來得怡人, 不像燥味般難接受。 伴碟的青豆角以辣茄醬炒製過, 細嚼之下蒜味頗濃, 十分惹味。 薯仔片吃出原味之時更多份辛香, 真愛挺身爽滑的質感。

tiramisu fandango的賣相不失精緻, 卻不是見慣的模樣, 不是用杯裝, 也不是切件式, 而是以薄片浸過咖啡糖漿的清蛋糕,作底, 再擠些mascarpone cheese於面, 實物其實很小, 絕對不能滿足我這甜怪。 換上新衣後, 食味其實沒有多大的改變, 蛋糕將咖啡的幽香吸收著, 濕潤香甜, 配上輕巧細滑的芝士忌廉, 奶味豐盈, 不失為甜美之選。

單看caramel custard with marinated strawberry這名字真係摸不著頭腦, 真身原來是焦糖燉蛋, 頓時有點錯愕。 表面的糖層有點散亂, 未能平滑地伏在燉蛋之上, 有一點的可惜。 糖經燒後結成一層薄脆, 鬆身卻不太黏, 跟下層柔滑的燉蛋成了極大的對比, 卻又份外配合, 蛋香處處, 甜得自然, 不會膩口得有過重的負擔, 真點不明白的是未見有士多啤梨的存在, 還是我忽略了?

正因為花款太多, 點菜時都頗掙扎的, 但也不用急, 這趟初訪實在令人滿意, 為出色的水準所著迷, 再來的意慾真強, 看來也應好好的計劃一下吧!

要知道L小姐望眼欲穿就是想吃西班牙海鮮炒飯,L小姐頓時一陣失望,我則奇怪Last Order不是兩點半嗎?為什麼二點零五分就沒有了?結果得到的回覆是:炒飯、焗飯需時,廚房唔做,我都沒辦法的!我除了心裡多謝你這推心置腹的說明外,實在沒話可說了。不過最後L小姐還是決定在這裡吃。侍應就安排我們坐在門口對著水吧的二人枱,其實內裡還有滿多位置的,侍應的回覆:那邊唔開的了。不打緊,只要L小姐覺得沒問題就行了。

我們飛快的看著餐牌,L小姐主菜要了Roasted Duck Breast with Mushrooms,我則要Stewed Ox-tail with Pasta。

這裡用上Tapas似乎令人有無限遐想,其實是變包與兩款醬汁 / 配料,又或者可以說麵包加上兩款配料算是一款Tapas吧!麵包上枱時經烘暖再上枱,雖有點點邊位焦了,但吃起來外脆內軟,加上帶點麥香,食味很好。配料包括油浸橄欖及蕃茄粒。橄欖油就不用多介紹,那款蕃茄粒倒是很清新開胃,應該是加了點橄欖油,殅點蒜泥,吃很來清新之餘亦帶點刺激,很開胃呢!

L小姐要了磨菇湯,磨菇湯賣相不俗,看得出很濃稠,湯中隱約看出磨菇粒,而且嗅起來有一股磨菇的清新香氣,單憑視覺及嗅覺就已經覺得很吸引了。L小姐著我試一口,我就舀了一匙來試,質感濃稠,充滿菇菌的清香,加上菇菌粒,喝起來倍添嚼勁及質感。L小姐喝過後覺得很滿意,回味無窮呢!

我的海鮮湯呈橙紅色,湯面放上幾块麵包粒作點綴,賣相吸引。海鮮湯看得出很濃稠,色澤讓人不其然聯想到美味的龍蝦湯。喝起來,質感濃郁細滑,味道鮮美,相信用了不少魚蝦蟹來熬製的。而且湯內混入了蟹肉,喝起來就更覺美味滿足了。

L小姐的煙鴨胸先到,三件鴨胸,配上幾块馬鈴薯及甜豆,賣相精緻。L小姐開宗明義問我要不要吃馬鈴薯,L小姐不為別的,當然是怕肥了,我倒是沒所謂,加上L小姐也分了些鴨胸給我,基本上我是比L小姐更完整地吃了這客主菜的!
鴨胸皮頗厚,我也不敢造次,去掉為宜,但看出鴨胸經輕煎,火路控制器得宜,鴨胸謹熟,吃起來肉質很嫩,頗具鴨的膻香,不過我本身對鴨胸不太感冒,L小姐似乎更懂欣賞,亦大讚好吃。

伴碟的馬鈴薯似乎更對我胃口,馬鈴薯切片,經煮熟後,放上一些橄欖油,馬鈴薯質優,吃起來粉腍,加上有橄欖油的潤澤,味道不俗。

我的燉牛尾隨後送到,牛尾與意粉是分開上的,賣相不俗,牛尾用一個盤子盛載,上枱時醬汁仍在冒著泡泡,看起來還是相當的「新鮮滾熱辣」。牛尾選了較尾的位置,因此每块較為「的骰」。可能有食客會略嫌細块,不過我倒覺得大块與細块各有其所,大块吃起來「啖啖肉」,吃起來會較膻香,細块倒是較入味且更細嫩,因此可說各有特色。這盤牛尾吃起來也確實如此。當然我也分了一些給L小姐吃,她也覺得不俗,甚至要添吃呢!

牛尾質素不俗,不過意粉卻叫我有更大的驚喜;一般普通或兒戲的西餐,所謂的意粉,總是乾淨淨,沒有任何味道,乾好的可能是下單後煮熟,過冷河隨即上碟,有些甚至要經歷「風乾」的過程,意粉變得既硬又沒有味道。Fandango卻有很大不同,我的意粉紅紅的,而且放上很多細細的紅蘿蔔芯,甜豆等,單是賣相已是色彩繽紛,先聲奪人。吃起來,意粉當然是新鮮煮的,帶有淡淡的茄香,加上伴有很多配菜,吃起來很豐富,更引來L小姐的哄搶一番呢!

我的Set包了一款甜品,其實我要不要甜品也沒差,不過預料L小姐定會想吃的,而她又叫的Set卻沒有甜品,因此就由我來代勞吧!甜品的選擇,當然也交由L小姐決定,如我所料,L小姐點最喜歡的Cream Brulee。

在西班牙菜館點法式甜品,實在是一個小小的賭注,我倒很有興趣看看其出品如何?Cream Brulee不一會就以一個小砵盛著上桌了,賣相很簡潔,沒有一絲多餘的修飾,就只有火槍嗆過小砵的邊線留有一些帶藝術色彩的龜裂圖騰。我和L小姐Share著吃。本面的糖片 / 層作的較厚,但仍很焦脆,Cream Brulee吃起來尚算幼滑但味道卻略嫌呆板,似有蛋味卻欠缺重要的呍呢嗱芳香,細看下,Cream Brulee內沒有呍呢拿籽的芳蹤,難怪呍呢拿香味芳蹤杳然。雖然沒期望這裡的Cream Brulee會做的比Paul Lafayet出色,但也沒預期會如此兒戲,我在Lawry’s吃過的Cream Brulee,雖未達Paul Lafayet的水準,但賣相很美,而且做的也很出色!以一間米滋蓮推介的食肆,理應可以做的更出色。

我的Set還包一杯餐飲,L小姐點了凍檸檬茶,檸檬茶用上西式紅茶,味道較清,飽餐一頓後喝上一口,的確很能消解油膩感。

題外話:我知道其中一位狂蜂 / 浪蝶O兄曾邀請L小姐吃西班牙菜,不過卻被我捷足先登了!請你有怪莫怪,是你的女神要吃西班牙菜,跟小弟無關的!

我想我這無心插柳之舉,應該不會招致報應的吧?!

We ordered a jar of sangria and a few tapas. The sangria tastes funny (i think it taste like 7-up my friend thinks it tastes like soda) we spoke to the manager who tried a sip and thought it tasted ok. He exchanged another jar for us which tastes exactly the same. Fair enough, we can only say they maintain consistent quality.

Fried calamari was not crispy and quite salty.
Foie gras with truffle jelly looks good until we took a bite. They put in too much rum which masked the taste of foie gras pate and truffle jelly, and mind you, both of these items are supposedly very strong in taste and got totally wasted.
Tomato bruchetta is just so so.

Trying these equally if not more disapponting food, we decided to get the check and leave for a second round somewhere else. The manager came and said there is a minimun charge of 350 bucks per head and asked if there is something wrong with the food. We were never made aware about the min charge, not when we made reservation nor when we get the table. The manager explained there are very fine prints on the menu, which unfortunately all three of us didn't notice, and it is their pactice not to mention to potential customers on reservation so they won't feel being looked down upon. Lovely bs. Dining out 5 days a week I am sure I have been to enough restaurants out there, both expensive and inexpensive, good and bad, who are courteous enough to remind customers about minimum charges upon reservation or walk in.

We also expressed to the manager how dissatisfied we are with their food. His very well understood explanation and message to us is everyone has different standards and it's too bad their food cannot meet ours. Not acknowledging the customer complaint, no apology, not to mention the lack of attempt to strive for improvement. Maybe they have received too many customer complaints already and feel indifferent, just my guess.

Not wanting to ruin our evening, we complied very unwillingly and met the minimum charge request by taking away two bottles of wine. Frankly, we all feel like we've been robbed.

Definitely no next time.

朋友升職,到Fandango吃晚飯慶祝。我們入座時顧客不算多,相信沒有訂位都不用擔心要等位。我們要求多放一張椅子來放手袋,店員卻說怕阻塞通道而拿了一個窄身的架,感覺有點「怪相」,於是我們又叫她把那架子拿走,店員態度友善,服務尚可。食物方面,我們都十分滿意。我們吃了:Sangria:朋友介紹的西班牙特飲,用來盛載的器皿很漂亮。味道就是有果汁味的紅酒,個人不好酒精類飲品,所以下次不會再喝。Mediterranean Salad($68):蔬菜非常新鮮、爽口,另有蛋、吞拿魚、蕃茄,調味不錯。Garlic Shrimps:蝦肉彈牙,味道不算辣,很惹味,好!Octopus Gallega Style:八爪魚很軟、很入味。Potato "Fandango":個人極喜歡吃薯條、薯角,所以此乃必食之選!香脆的薯角上有半生熟雞蛋一隻,感覺特別。Roasted Suckling Pig in Segovia Way($288):豬肉很軟滑,果真皮脆肉滑,但以主菜來說,份量偏少。Mixed Fruit Salad with Homemade Sherbet($68):這個甜品算是便宜。生果很多,有提子、士多

Mixed Fruit Salad with Homemade Sherbet($68):這個甜品算是便宜。生果很多,有提子、士多啤梨、火龍果、哈密瓜、蜜瓜和菠蘿,大部分都很甜,而最令我回味的是那檸檬味的雪葩,味道清新,正!

我除了欣賞Fandango的食物,亦很享受那兩位表演者的現場音樂,一個彈結他,另一個彈低音大提琴,唱了不少金曲,更接受點唱呢!下次有特別值得慶祝的事,我會再去光顧Fandango。

Went there to celebrate birthday with my husband. The atmosphere is warm and romantic. Like normal fine dining restaurant, it need to charge for water and we ordered for a bottle of still water and I also ordered for a glass of Sangria. Tapas we ordered octopus, which is very tender. Tortilla is very typical Spanish food. Clams in green sauce is remarkable as the clams is fresh and big. We also ordered for Jamon, but is a bit costly which only hv a few slices for two hundred dollars. Main cours

The sauce is nice with quite a lot of seafood on top. Generally it is worth to try if getting bored of Japanese or Italian food.
