以前住係希雲街,邊有咁多野食依家連埋加路連山道,可能有十幾二十間餐廳,真係幸福今次路經呢度,見到呢間賣咖哩外賣店,但本身已經食飽飽,所以買左咖哩魚蛋回家睇波食20蚊有18粒,幾平WOR咖哩味有層次,香料味中等,辛辣度幾高,看到汁既一粒粒辣椒就知落足料.魚蛋就係一般既炸魚蛋,呢方便我就覺得帶煙韌既魚蛋,個隻會有點陳皮味,如果能夠放埋呢個汁度應該更好食,但呢個還不錯.呢個魚蛋唔會太大粒,算係唔錯既小食 continue reading

基於本人生性八卦,得知希雲街和加路連山道一帶有很多新餐廳開業,所以今日假期特別到來一試! 眼見一間裝修得有少少外國味道既店,喺店外見電視螢幕及店內menu有8款咖哩,但原來每日只賣4款,而今日只得牛肉及雞肉各2款 : 綠咖哩雞、瑪沙曼牛肉、紅咖哩牛肉和馬來咖哩,而咖哩size亦有2款揀,一種係12oz,另一種係28oz,而價錢相對28oz係抵食啲,但一個人既我就只可揀12oz,白飯加$5或印度烤餅$14 (已現售罄)。我揀咗"瑪沙曼牛肉", 因為店員話係泰國咖哩,而我印象中出面既泰菜館亦好少有,所以想試試有幾特別 ... 咖哩好香椰奶味,有少少辣,內有牛腩亦有少少花生粒,口感幾特別,同喺出面既泰菜館既綠咖哩、紅咖哩、黃咖哩有好大分別,食食下我就食哂成碗飯,一滴汁都唔想放過! 食完飯就一定要飲野啦,雪櫃內有汽水同Shezan既果汁,而我就揀檸檬,味道比較清新自然,唔怪得係店員推介。 continue reading

下班遲了一點,太太已老早在加路連山道一帶流連了一會。抵達時她報料說有一間主打咖喱的小店看起來很不錯。對之有濃厚興趣的她,當然就在吃完碗拉麵,肚子還有空間之際,便急不及待的拉埋已飽得七七八八的我再來多一round了...這小店內裡只設有一張貼牆的高桌及幾張high chairs供人堂食,可以估計到的是她應主要是做外賣生意的。平日晚上這裡應似是門庭冷落的,原因在於我們是夜來到時,很輕易便將成個場包下了....可以預料其餘平日夜晚的人流亦應相差無幾……除了有幾款大路的咖喱配上好幾種肉類及蔬菜以外,這裡最有趣的是竟然還有咖喱魚蛋一類小吃供應。一向愛吃這類零食"口立濕"東西的太太亦是因這點而被吸引入來的。不過可惜的是,那所謂的"咖喱汁"是跡近一點味道也欠奉 ---- 是既非香也不夠辣。老實講除了顏色近似之外,實不能相信這是一粒咖喱魚蛋來的。幸好魚蛋本身質感尚算結實帶少許彈牙,吃起來不似是全被化學物洗禮過的產物....小弟一直對korma curry情有獨鐘。印象中的korma咖喱主要有三大特質 : 1)辣度相比起其他常見的種類如masala或vindaloo是較為溫和; 2)味道是帶微甜,質感亦十分creamy的很令人開胃; 3)嗅及吃落是帶有果仁香的....再一次很可惜的是是晚吃到的卻是與這三個條件背道而馳。吃將下去的感覺是尤如在吃罐頭咖喱一般,只空有個辣字但卻欠層次,而且是全然感受不到有很重的椰奶香及軟滑質感....另外雞肉亦覺太嚡不夠滑溜,同樣令人失望....伴着咖喱醮食的wheat roti則是正正常常無甚特別,用之來醮咖喱汁吃是差極有個譜....此時忽然想起了之前在上環區一間吃印度菜的餐廳弄出來的美味korma,不禁令人悵然.... continue reading

Came back for more curry because it was quite good on my first visit.The ones I was hoping to try was not there today so had the beef massaman again and some fish balls in green curry sauce.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★ beef massaman:The portion was a little smaller this time and the vegetables were different, it was cauliflower.The curry was sweet and not even spicy with lots of soft peanuts and the beef was soft and tender.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★Fish balls in green curry sauce:The fish balls were too spicy and the sauce had a strong lemongrass taste which I did not like.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★ continue reading

禮頓道最近有很多新餐廳開業,備受矚目,整條街好不熱鬧,令路過的我禁不住抱著躍躍欲試的心情。俯身在Curries INC門口研究該店menu的時候,頭頂飄來一把親切的聲音,一位笑容可掬的大嬸向我招手。踏進店內,只覺得這是一間很小巧的店,大嬸已經急不及待的向我們一一介紹,如數家珍。雖然menu上寫明有8款咖哩,其實店方每天只會預備4款,輪流替換。當日攏賣的是牛肉及雞肉各兩款,包括腰果咖哩雞、瑪沙曼牛肉、紅咖哩牛肉和馬來咖哩。份量的選擇有2種,一種是lunch size(12oz),另一種是dinner size (28oz)價錢也接近相差一倍,加白飯要另$5。本次點了印度的腰果咖哩雞,香料味很重,黃薑粉味道尤為突出,入口只覺很香,但後勁還是很辣。雖然咖哩顏色呈黃色,不過大嬸說那是綠咖哩,腰果已經攪碎,不太嚐得出來。雞肉非常入味,還配以薯仔粒和babycorn。另一款是泰式馬沙曼牛肉,屬於紅咖哩,未食之前已經椰香撲鼻。雖然大嬸說這款已經是比較不辣,入口的確偏甜,但還是很辣,只是辣的程度不會讓人汗流浹背而已。與一般咖哩不同之處,是它除了用到薯仔,還加入了花生,花生香甜爽脆,豐富了咖哩的層次,不過薯仔有點酸,要扣分。另外,齋食白飯可能會覺得有點硬,不過讓白飯吸收了咖哩汁後就剛剛好,變得惹味。這裡都是單點,沒有套餐。雪櫃內除了汽水,還擺放了Shezan的果汁,荔枝汁味道比較人工化,那種甜就像BBQ時塗抹的蜜糖,反而檸檬的味道比較清新自然,難怪是三者之中最暢銷。現時禮頓道、嘉路連山道及希雲街合作搞了一個「嘉路連希雲小社區」的活動,凡在指定的商店底食肆消費滿$100就可以獲取一個蓋章,於下一次惠顧區內指定的餐廳或商店便會有特別優待。丹麥餅店、via Tokyo、炊豕店等都有參加,折扣優惠及參與店舖定期有更新,實行寓美食於娛樂! continue reading
