又新街裡光顧得最多的必是發記,只因其布拉腸粉真的不錯,我家大人尤其喜歡其蝦米密麻麻的蝦米腸粉,其實發記除了腸粉或煲仔粥外,還有另一款較少推介的出色食品--鹹雞。 外賣鹹雞半隻($82),雞皮肥美卻沒甚彈性,雞肉帶有鹹味還有點雞味,雞肉有彈性而不死實,也許生熟度是計算雞肉會被熱飯加熱之故,現在只有雞沒有熱飯的半隻雞,雞肉仍有著未熟的血紅及血水,結果要自行蒸熟一點才像樣。另一次的靚靚鹹雞飯($45)反而水準比今次好得多,雞皮比較爽口,雞肉夠熟之餘也很滑,雞件份量大約有1/4隻雞,基本上每部份雞件也有一點,不會有著全雞胸或全雞背的狀況,不但較公平也可以嚐到雞隻的每個部份。最妙還是這杯薑比蔥多的薑蔥,店方以雞油來炒香薑蔥,香得要命的蔥油用來伴飯超讚。兩次光顧的鹹雞水準有點不均,好吃與否要視乎運氣,不過平均還是可以的。

最妙還是這杯薑比蔥多的薑蔥,店方以雞油來炒香薑蔥,香得要命的蔥油用來伴飯超讚。

兩次光顧的鹹雞水準有點不均,好吃與否要視乎運氣,不過平均還是可以的。

很久沒去過發記,每次經過,看見一堆在外等候的人潮,真受不了。今天病了,想吃碗粥和腸粉。趁著醫生未到診所的空檔,來到這裡。想不到未到九時,都有八成上座率。叫了一個碎牛粥多薑走蔥($22,多薑加$1)、一碟鮮蝦腸 ($17),好經濟實惠的價錢!本來看見對面的吃著的油炸鬼又想叫一客,不過怕吃不下,所以沒叫。不過呢,由於發記的油器都是交來的,所以能否吃到新鮮熱辣的,很看運氣。等了不久,碎牛粥以砂碢上桌,熱呼呼的,份量對女生而言,是絕對足夠兩人分享的。碎牛粥內的牛肉新鮮份量也很多,粥底很綿,我用了十五分鐘吃完它,它並沒有變的水汪汪。碎牛粥上桌不久,腸粉也來了。很多粥店的所謂鮮蝦腸,裡面的蝦又細又少。雖然這裡的腸粉皮並不簿,但蝦的數量足,而且很大隻。熱騰騰的腸粉澆上鮮甜的醬油,好好吃。如果不是生病,真想多叫一碟。這裡的粥品和腸粉價錢都很經濟實惠,基本上在市區已沒可能找到了。不過,環境、衛生和服務態度,真的很一般。有時,事情真的難以兩全其美。不過,每次吃完發記的粥,都感到有點口渴,我一直在想,他們家的粥底有下師傅嗎﹖因為疑似下了師傅,真的無法比笑臉。

跟友人在酒吧暢飲聊天聊天後已是半夜兩點多,能宵夜的地方也不多吧!我提意到元朗發記醫肚,好友贊成,起行!這個時間沒有太多人,不用等位,太好了!平日都一定點雞粥的我,今天轉了豬紅粥,而友人就依舊點了雞粥。粥底依舊好味,但雞粥的配搭會比豬紅粥更美味! 粥真的要熱騰騰而且快吃才對,不然很快就會變成粥水了!我們還點了蘿蔔糕和牛肉腸。這兩個都是普普通通吧…炸兩會比腸粉出色一點 ,而蘿蔔糕沒有什麼材料。最後,我們捧著肚子離開。一頓抵食又美味的宵夜!

其實已經去過發記食粥很多次,但寫食評還是頭一次。自己本身很喜歡食粥,一來價錢平民,二來每次吃完都很有滿足感。發記位置易找,基本上在元朗最多美食的那幾條街,今日補完習後想在元朗搵食,第一個念頭就是發記。去到雖然是平日,但客人沒有減少,反而叫外賣的人蠻多,可能因為最近開始變冷,大家都想吃熱噴噴的粥品吧。不用怎看餐牌,我們第一時間向阿姐說要肉片粥、炸兩、牛俐蘇和蝦米腸。不過今天牛俐蘇已經售罄了先來肉片粥($21),熱噴噴很大煲,粥綿,肉片份量足。好味!尤其是現在轉冷的天氣,即使平民都好好食,好滿足。 炸兩,對不起影得有點差XD 這個卻失水準,皮太厚,好像做好很久… 有點失望。蝦米腸,賣相味道一樣出色,再混醬,好味。其實有時簡簡單單一頓晚餐已經很滿足。

(770)元朗閒遊,順道探訪元朗這間發記粥品人氣店,兩個人選擇了皮蛋瘦肉粥及豬潤粥,另外要多碟叉燒腸粉。皮蛋瘦肉粥,粥底綿滑,混合了皮蛋瘦肉的粥,味道都幾OK。豬潤粥,粥底也一樣好,豬潤爽口好味,水準不俗的。叉燒腸粉,腸粉不算很薄,但很幼滑,叉燒質素只是一般的。其實,今天最愛還是豬潤粥。

元朗閒遊,順道探訪元朗這間發記粥品人氣店,

兩個人選擇了皮蛋瘦肉粥及豬潤粥,另外要多碟叉燒腸粉。

皮蛋瘦肉粥,粥底綿滑,混合了皮蛋瘦肉的粥,味道都幾OK。

豬潤粥,粥底也一樣好,豬潤爽口好味,水準不俗的。

叉燒腸粉,腸粉不算很薄,但很幼滑,叉燒質素只是一般的。

其實,今天最愛還是豬潤粥。

I remember I've passed through this section of Yuen Long and everytime I walked by the entrance of this restaurant it was invariably jammed with tables, chairs and people standing here and there, and I supposed they were coveting for seats for their lunch or dinner, simply because this restaurant is indeed always full, so be patient next time you go!I'm no more lucky when I came yesterday around 2:00pm, a few people stood with me to wait for the seats, after about 8 minutes my chance finally cam

I'm no more lucky when I came yesterday around 2:00pm, a few people stood with me to wait for the seats, after about 8 minutes my chance finally came, which was a seat at the corner. The first thing that caught my attention upon sitting down was the dilapidated state of the table surface after prolonged uses, however, cleanliness was acceptable for the eating utensils and also on the floor.

I ordered the famous Pig Liver Congee, Cheung Fun with Fresh Shrimp, and the elongated Chinese Doughnut, they all came to my sight within 3 minutes one after the other. Cheung Fun is actually rice noodle made into sheet with various meat filling rolled inside. There was a satifactory amount of shrimps in the cheung fun, the shrimps were with great taste of freshness, meat tenderizer was used to give the shrimps a sponge like texture in your mouth, and it also made the shrimps looked bigger in size when they were served. Soya sauce is very important partner to cheung fun, this congee eatery uses the type that is more sweet and less salty in taste, not very much my kind of thing. The rice noodle for making the cheung fun was up to very high standard even in comparison with those I have tasted in Guangzhou, it was starchy, velvet, with a dicernible fragrance of cooked rice, so enjoyable.

Freshly out of the wok of oil and served hot and crispy, it is the soul about eating chinese doughnut and all other deep fried items of a chinese congee eatery, with this in mind, there is nothing left to say about the elongated chinese doughnut that I unfortunately stumbled across yesterday afternoon, soft, cold and soggy, disappointing!

The pig liver congee was the staple of the lunch, it was served in a clay bowl which is best at retaining heat, the congee was really great with enough time put into boiling the rice so that it could be thick enough. A lot of meat juice had been boiled out of the meat and dissolved into the starchy solution such that even with no artificial favouring added, the congee still tasted so good! Indeed it reminds me of my mother's home made version which I can seldom taste these days after moving out to live alone. The pig liver was abundant in large pieces in the congee, very fresh and taste great, but alas, the meat tenderizer was put into use again, very tender and spongy with great texture so enjoyable in your mouth between your tongue and teeth, but mind you health with those chemicals inside your body!

結果,我和兩位友人前後共行了數公里路,才到達目的地。紅葉比想像中遠,亦比想像中少。影完紅葉後我們都已筋疲力歇,非常肚餓。回到元朗後看到「發記腸粉粥品」前有十數在排隊,更不斷有新到的食客加入隊伍,本著「咁多人試應該無伏」的奇怪心態,我們,成為了隊尾。排了約十五分鐘,店員安排我們同店內盡頭就座。店內只有十數座位,不時亦會出現背拍背,甚至肩摩轂擊的情況,此況出現於以粥品本主的食店,其實都真是頗危險。加上店內衛生實屬一般,我們就座時正正就有一隻曱甴在身後的牆爬過,這個畫面即使在近年的大排檔都已非常少見,令我們幾個大男人亦嚇了一跳。首先到的是「炸兩」,看住旁邊開放式廚房中的店員不斷在做腸粉,正一邊心想:以即叫即整而言,不足三分鐘便能上菜實在極速,一邊把「炸兩」送比口之際,就已發現貨不對辦了。「炸兩」外層的腸粉冰凍,既不能吃到店外海報提及的「米香」,更連一般口感都欠奉。雖然內層的油炸鬼沒有因腸粉的水份而變軟,但腸粉的溫度實在難以入口。別說是即叫即製,即使此刻你告訴我此碟「炸兩」是隔晚的,我都會相信。原先還以為炸兩應不算是高風險的菜式,應不會有問題,結果卻令我們大失所望。 之後到的是「新鮮鯇片粥」。

首先到的是「炸兩」,看住旁邊開放式廚房中的店員不斷在做腸粉,正一邊心想:以即叫即整而言,不足三分鐘便能上菜實在極速,一邊把「炸兩」送比口之際,就已發現貨不對辦了。「炸兩」外層的腸粉冰凍,既不能吃到店外海報提及的「米香」,更連一般口感都欠奉。雖然內層的油炸鬼沒有因腸粉的水份而變軟,但腸粉的溫度實在難以入口。別說是即叫即製,即使此刻你告訴我此碟「炸兩」是隔晚的,我都會相信。原先還以為炸兩應不算是高風險的菜式,應不會有問題,結果卻令我們大失所望。

之後到的是「新鮮鯇片粥」。粥以煲仔盛上,粥多到幾乎滿溢。粥底頗綿,薑蔥份量適中,能去除魚腥時之餘,又不會喧賓奪主蓋去魚味。鯇魚片份量頗多,我們一口粥,一口魚,剛好把整煲粥吃完。雖然粥送上時有短暫冒煙,但吃下卻發現溫度偏冷,雖不至於如「炸兩」般冷得難以入口,但卻談不上熱。生滾粥卻不熱,實在可惜。

看看門外不斷加長的人龍,再看看枱上的食物,心想其實此店之食物實屬一般。「新鮮鯇魚片粥」味道及口感均可以,但談不上出色,「炸兩」更是強差人意,不能接受。並不值得特意到來品嘗,更不值得花時間排隊到內。由於我們是在平日去的,所以假日人多,令質素有影響的解釋並不成立,只能說期望過高,又正正撞著名過於實。

再試試碟銀針粉,啲豬潤又鮮又甜又嫩,我老婆話唔食過都唔知豬潤原來可以咁好食的,銀針粉o係豬潤ge陪襯下也特別好食

入元朗一定唔可以錯過

如果到元朗, 一定要到發記。環境差, 衛生差, 是必然的: 飛單落粥, 指公直篤, 確實嘔心, 但味道之好讓人把一切環境呀衛生呀都拋諸腦後。發記就好似深井發記一樣, 我會特登咋車或者山長水遠搭車尼食, 當然如果禁arm尼到就必食。 原因好簡單, 20蚊唔洗有碗粥, 粥底夠味, 粥夠棉, 料夠多, 不用膠碗用陶瓷, 保證滾熱辣, 絕不欺場。 今次媽媽叫及弟我叫左碎牛, 我雖然無執我娘親口水尾但見佢羹羹都係豬, 足料程度簡直要用虧本尼形容。 我既碎牛依然秉承發記宗旨, 足料, 粥棉, 滾熱辣, 碎牛啖啖牛香, 明明成個煲仔飯禁大碗都想食多碗, 最後還是要加翻碟腸粉。 11蚊既蝦米腸有21蚊既蝦米, 超值! 腸粉本身重好滑, 但偏厚身, 米味濃, 我最喜歡佢蔥超多, 而家唸起都想食!呢度有件得意事想提一提, 雖然D碗重到不得了, 但鋪頭是全女班, 真係做到個個手瓜起展, 給我的印象就像尖沙咀龍記一樣, 亦是全部都是好姐妹, 我比4個趣。提提大家食飯時間外賣必排長龍, 想食好野請靜心等候。
