We didn’t pick our seafood in the Main Street but instead asked the restaurant for their recommendations for the best value. We ended up having soy sauce prawns, razor clamps, steamed scallops, steamed abalone, honey glazed oysters, stir fried fish fillet, vegetables and special fried rice.

The food were freshly prepared with good “wok hei” that people want in Cantonese cuisine but I wouldn’t say it was first class. The scallops were over cooked and the clamps were too salty. Plating is as simple as it can get but nothing to complain about. The owner was honest not to give us too much though. The fruit they gave us at the end of the meal has been there forever. Service is effectively did not exist but the staff were clearly trying their best. We also had to wait for a bit even though we had a booking. It is a fishing village in the old days and you can still tell you’re dining at a fishing village.

To be honest I’d probably go back because it has been my “seafood spot” for years. I’d probably continue to bring my friends visiting there because i know I wouldn’t overpay there. Would I bring a local friend who has his own seafood spot? Very unlikely.

老闆娘介紹我地食本地龍蝦, 雖然唔係咁大隻, 但起碼唔會好似澳龍咁得個頭, 又貴又冇肉食~ 果然係一個唔錯的介紹, 一人半隻開邊, 真係啖啖肉, 又爽又彈牙, 起碼唔會頭大過身, 一人半隻都好滿足, 而且比起澳龍平好多好多, 就算一人一隻本地, 都比叫一隻澳龍抵, 又平又有肉~

星期五晚一行三人一放工即飛車來到流浮山...食我們期待以久既海鮮宴~不是太大食的我們點了:1) 芝士大蝦伊麵 - 濃濃的芝士汁, 沾滿晒整碟伊麵及大蝦, 大蝦每隻都好多膏, 很新鮮!!2) 四隻奄仔蟹 - 最初一人食一隻, 食到中途, 忍唔住叫多一隻分享~D膏好鮮甜呀..好食到爆~3) 蒜蓉粉絲蒸扇貝 - 大大粒扇貝, 爽口。5) 酥炸生蠔 - 炸漿炸得非常酥脆又夠薄, 生蠔中間不會炸到過熟。正!另每檯附送豆腐菜魚湯, 夠晒魚味~~

同事們介紹及主催,一行人短時間內約去到流浮山吃海鮮。已經廿幾年沒有到過流浮山,改變了很多,變成另一個大澳或鯉魚門,感覺像會做遊客生意。同事們建議先選購海鮮到食肆煮食。買了大頭蝦(豉油皇)、蟶子(豉椒炒)、扇貝(粉絲蒜蓉)、貴妃螃(鹽水蒸)、魚(湯水上)、奄仔蟹(走酒蒸)。另在酒樓叫酥炸美國桶蠔、椒鹽鮮魷、灼生菜、三個白飯。難得的是: 酒家不收開瓶費,因此同事攜了兩大支紅白酒慰勞大家。大家吃吃喝喝,飲飽食醉,落地也是三百鬆D, 份量與手工絕不欺場瞬色,以流浮山的質素與環境來說,算是這樣了~~

家人特別安排的生日大餐在流浮山,第一次到流浮山的我大開眼界,不但有海鮮一條街,海鮮也是十分新鮮的。清蒸海上鮮「海上鮮」當然是海中的大魚,蒸的火候控制好,也不會把魚煮得過火,加上蒸魚鼓油,十分下飯。上湯龍蝦大大隻的龍蝦有膏而且肉厚鮮甜。豉油王大蝦殼比較軟,可以把沾滿了汁醬的蝦殼一同吃掉,味道十分滿意!蒜蓉蒸扇貝今晚的扇貝火候有點過,肉稍微有點老。不過粉絲的確入味。薑蔥煮鮑魚鮑魚十分入味,不過可能是薑葱煮的關係,鮑魚有點過老韌了一點。油鹽水大花甲欠油鹽水香,就像水煮一般,有點失望。奄仔蟹是來自鹹淡水交界的幼年雌蟹, 味道鮮美而且多膏。餐廳免費送上雜錦海鮮湯十分鮮甜。

清蒸海上鮮
