This was recommended by a friend so I came to visit the restaurant without looking at Openrice.com Booked the table for a few friends in advance as I heard this is a busy place. The place was extremely packed and our seats were squeezed between a large group of noisy guests (actually half of the restaurant were full of noisy guests) and the window. My hair was actually touching the curtain. There are many set menu that offers good deals but I do not want to try raw food (sashimi -- many of the deals offer that nor shellfish) in a new restaurant so I opted for a la carte.We ordered a hot pot, quite disappointed that they didn't have any traditional Japanese soup base when this should be a Japanese restaurant.The soup pot took at least 20 mins to arrive. Luckily we were given some beans to keep us from starving. I ordered HK local beef, which took 1 hour to arrive. Their excuse was that they had to slice it when we order it. At least the beef tasted good when it finally arrived. Then I ordered lamb slices, which took another half an hour to arrive.
