在附近工作,收工到朋友推介的越南餐廳。裝潢以火車為主,尤愛時鐘,如車站上的時鐘般,甚具法式的越南風味。火車頭招牌湯河($98),碗非常大,份量不少,河粉質感非常幼滑。隨河粉附一碟芽菜、青檸及辣椒粒,在湯河上桌時即時加入去攪拌,芽菜才會變得軟身。沒有把所有辣椒粒加入去,否則會太辣。除了一碟芽菜,還有一碟甜醬和辣醬,甜度辣度適中,辣醬會較好吃。餸有蘿蔔、牛筋、牛肉、牛栢葉和牛丸等。當中以牛丸最好吃,非常彈牙。牛筋非常軟、滑、稔和入味,而牛栢葉很爽口,但量較少,畢竟這是以牛肉作主打。牛肉很滑,份量多。點了些小菜,兩人分享一碗湯河而很飽。蔗蝦($88),上桌時非常熱,小心燙口。蝦肉包著熱蔗,鮮甜的甜蔗汁內滲滿蝦味,卻亳無違和感,是有趣新穎的配搭。紙米凍卷($78),有五款選擇,選了蜜桃大蝦。賣相精緻。米紙卷是越南名菜,早前在河內機場吃了鮮蝦米紙卷,念念不忘。這次加入蜜桃,味道更覺鮮甜,軟滑的蜜桃與爽脆的大蝦配搭甚佳。用上新鮮爽口的生菜、檬粉、蝦肉等,爽甜而薄脆香口。很適合作為前菜的蒸粉卷($62),晶瑩剔透的粉皮包著各式材料,外層軟滑。內層加入了爽口雲耳碎,令這道菜的內層更添清新爽脆的口感。最喜歡這道菜,熱中帶滑,滑中帶爽,在其它越南餐廳也較少見。涼粉紅豆冰($34),煮得軟稔的紅豆佔了三分一杯,紅豆上層是細滑涼粉粒,涼粉粒較細粒,一口可吃到數粒。待頂層的冰融化才喝會較好,甜度會淡一點。上菜很快,旁邊有提供生菜及調味料等。店員態度親切,是一間不錯的越南餐廳。…Read More

第一次來火車頭已是很久之前,那時聽朋友說大坑開了一家越南餐廳,當時那區還不似現在食肆林立。一到浣紗街已看到門外人龍,香港人最識食,未吃對這店已有一定信心。當然先試越南生牛肉河,果然湯又清又甜,肉和香料味道滿溢,生牛肉很嫩,河粉又滑,最重要吃之後沒有味精後症候群出現,滿分!有了信心就帶老婆來撬牆腳,但已是一段時間之後,聽聞當時廚師們集體離開另起爐灶,但一碗火車頭依然有水準,牛尾煲配蒜茸包和蔗蝦卻很一般,牛尾偏韌,正宗越南的法包不加蒜茸,臨食前在炭爐上把皮燒脆,是一絕!最近第三次去,是因為對面民聲肉餅售罄,吃了一碗牛肉豬膶湯朦,牛肉全是筋,豬膶又不是黃沙膶也不嫩,賣$49,以後不會再來!…Read More
