This is our 3rd time dinning at Mr. Taco Truck in two months. Loving their food. They have changed a new menu recently and have many more food offerings. We came again last Sat and they were having a new Seafood Saturday menu. All dishes are Mexican Seafood dishes that I have never seen in other restaurants in Hong Kong. So instead of the nachos and quesadilla we normally ordered, we decided to go for a full seafood meal. We ordered 2 beers and started with a shrimp Taco ($21), followed by the 7
We ordered 2 beers and started with a shrimp Taco ($21), followed by the 7 Seas soup ($158) & Veracruz Style Fish with Mexican rice and salad ($160) as main course. We finished off by sharing a Mexican corn bread (38). They also have Paella but need to order one day in advance so we will have to come back to try again.
The shrimp taco is fresh and tasty. Served with some shrimps and topped with some lettuce, tomato and onion.
The 7 sea soup loads with various kind of seafood and served with some chopped veggie, avocado and chips. My wife liked it a lot as she is a seafood lover.
The Veracruz style fish is extremely tasty and is my personal favorite. The fish is very flavorful and the sauce goes really well with the fish. The Corn Bread is very moist and light, full of flavor of corn and you can taste the corn husk.
題外話/補充資料：
Their owner is a Mexican chef. Food was really authentic and delicious. Service was quick. The server was really attentive and friendly.
The portion was good and we were so full! We paid about $500 for TWO 2-Seafood courses meal plus beer, it definitely was a bargain. Will definitely come back!
