My 3rd visit for breakky at this place! It's not the most convenient location, so had to make special arrangements to come here. Usually its a sunday, but today its a weekday. Love the quiet neighbourhood! Arrive around 10 am, its not busy. There were seniors reading newspapers, and a young sweet couple on the side.Fresh toast, not overcooked eggs (slightly wet - but that's fine). Butter toast was good! Chicken macaroni in tomato soup.The soup is not as tomato pureed (water-downed?) as the famous place in central, but still tasty.
If you order beef/chicken/pork "yeon", the set comes with toast & eggs.
If you order pork chop/chicken steak, no toast & eggs.
Can't give up my toast & eggs!
luncheon meat + egg sandwich. its very very yummy!! salty luncheon meat + not overcooked eggs.
luncheon meat is somewhat thick cut =DNot overcooked eggs is KEY! becase cha chan tangs tend to cooke eggs til they're dry and turn brown before serving. Eggs that are JUST RIGHT ("smooth eggs") are not common!
Total for 2 sets is $65.
Service-wise, i agree with previous posts. They aren't rude, they just have their own character (aka attitude) - or just being oblivious lol.
