As most of the chocolate fan lovers know by now, Black as Chocolate has entered into Hong Kong market, providing us with more choices than before. I have tried it before few months back and i enjoyed it. Recently, they launched miniature cup cake size, with the price being a more attractive factor. Previously, their whole cake was priced in the $400 range. Now, the mini cake was priced between $48 to $54. The size of each cake was really small, even combined all 4 cakes were still smaller than their normal size. The serving was just nice for 1 or 2 person to share with. It still comes in a nice small box, with devil's fork & spoon provided. Hazelnut chocolate cake - Hazelnut was grounded to bits and when consumed, there was a crunchy feeling.
Classic chocolate cake - Whole cake was filled with chocolate. It was very rich in chocolate and for chocolate lovers, they will definitely enjoy it.
Banana chocolate cake - I could really see small slices of banana in it. It makes an interesting combination, with the soft banana complimenting nicely with the chocolate.
Strawberry chocolate cake - I was quite surprised to see such a big slice of strawberry in it. The cake was sour and sweet, quite a refreshing taste.
Overall, it was lucky that the owner has decided to come up with the mini size, as i could try out more flavours without breaking a hole in my wallet.
