People working or studying at the HKU medical campus would often find themselves having meals at the bayview restaurant. I am sorry to say that whilst the price for a meal here is quite cheap, I feel that the food here is too greasy. I previously ordered a seafood fried rice, and I ended up seeing the rice submerged in a pool of I dont know what type of oil after consuming between a half to 2/3 of the rice dish. It was so greasy I could almost see my reflection in the dish! The chinese dishes in
The western food is slightly better, but the salads can do with a little more flavour, sometimes the salads are quite dry and I feel like a cow grazing on the salads!
Overall, one should choose carefully what to consume if at bayview. The dishes could be improved if alot less oil and salt were added to them!
