一坐低 1號床文貓 就以西班牙文點菜
(唔好問我點解佢識西班牙文)
點左Patata Bravas,Jamon,Pan de Tomate,Paella,Pulpo同Sangria
2個女仔食呢D野都唔係好多啫 (我深信)

Patata Bravas 真係好好食
本身薯仔應該係冇咩味
但呢味菜真係好好食
佢D醬汁加埋薯仔....
冇辦法形容有幾好食
(我認我係薯仔控)

Jamon 味道好好
咸香既味道係口入面留住
真係好正
呢個簡直想Encore多幾碟

Pan de Tomate 就係叫Jamon 送既
我覺得都好好食...

Paella 就好一般既西班牙海鮮飯味
但材料都好足

Pulpo 呢個又係好值得推介
上面係八爪魚
下面係薯仔
食完好想再食
下次再去一定要Encore呢個

講左咁多食物
而家講下飲品
Sangria 係西班牙傳統飲品
佢係用紅酒、水果切片、糖漿、烈酒同梳打水調製既酒
而香港真係好少有調得咁好飲既Sangria

小店在supermarket裏面,不太多位,要等一下 garlic蝦味道很不錯,估不到有驚喜,garlic和辣椒的味很特出,而且平均,要挑剔的只是份量太小,蝦也太細了這個炒mushroom,加了雪梨酒,帶有garlic,很香這個麵包有点奇怪,麵包質感不太好,也不太脆,包上的疑似番茄醬也不太好吃,就是味道不配 長通粉配上辣番茄汁,沒有什麼驚喜這個羊架味道不錯,略可惜肉質不夠嫩,整體是可以的哦~

The eggs were cooked with black morcilla and it was basically scrambled eggs with black pudding sausage and skinned peppers.
There was a metal holder put on the plate before serving, the scrambled egg took form of a cake shape when served.
The taste of the black pudding was faint and the texture of the egg was so light and the scrambled egg was like droplets of cooked eggs forming into one. mass.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★

The octopus was a bit boring compared to the squid ink I tried last time.
It was quite chewy, and this dish was a bit too plain to be honest, because it was a sliced potato with octopus on top drizzled with olive oil.

那天下午,因公事出了金鐘!  無奈地,中午食得不多!4:00 左右已經肚餓! 早前得知太古廣場二座 LG 層有個 great food hall!在這裡兜個圈,除了是超級市場之外,周圍還有一些食肆!  包括:雪糕店、咖啡店、快餐店、日本餐廳...等等。 簡直是一個隱蔽的小綠洲! 我還發現有一間以簡單的磚牆帶出異國色彩的餐廳 Estudio!這是西班牙餐廳!紅色的高桌子實在搶眼!自然吸引我的目光! 看見餐牌,供應 small open sandwiches, dessert.......(設加一服務費)有見及此!我食些少東西填肚都 OK! montadito de pisto (with pisto and manchego cheese ) $20芝士、蕃茄、彩椒、青瓜等,以茄汁炒過,簡單而美味的配搭! 底部外邊煙韌、包身鬆軟的法包,吸收其精華,更加滋味! 值得一試!

呢個Tapas翻成中文,勉強可以翻成「小菜」,用黎佐酒。咁一定要飲SANGRIA啦! 味道無咩特別好飲唔好飲,普普通通。係菠蘿冰都要18蚊一杯, 30令蚊有酒有生果,好似比較抵飲。

題外話/補充資料: 個女經理個樣就好惡,好似訓導主任咁樣,你食唔哂D野會嘈爆你咁。不過,佢內心係NICE既,所以放心叫佢落ORDER啦。 見佢開隻新腿稷片既時候,片咗好多肥膏出黎,心諗用黎炒菜簡直無得項。以為佢都識欣賞,留番黎整其他野,點知佢一下,送哂落垃圾桶!天妒肥才!好浪費!

It's the best Sangria I've tasted by far!!! The meat balls and the omelet was sooooo good too!!!! It was such a surprise to find such good food in a place like this!

Before I left I've counted....oops...I had 4 glasses of Sangria... hmmmm...my Monday was GOOD!!!!!

It was fun sitting in the hustle and bustle of lunch hour, watching people in a rush, queuing to pay at the supermarket tills, eating at Triple Os.

Anyway, I ordered the SQUID COOKED WITH SQUID INK and EGGS COOKED WITH BLACK MORCILLA FROM BURGOS & PIQUILLO.
I wanted to try the Bravas Patatas but I already tried that at UnoMas.

EGGS COOKED WITH BLACK MORCILLA FROM BURGOS & PIQUILLO
The eggs cooked with black morcilla was the first to arrive. It was basically scrambled eggs with black pudding sausage and skinned peppers.
There was a metal holder put on the plate before serving, the scrambled egg took form of a cake shape when served.
I thought that was quite good, because scrambled eggs usually look like a pile when served.
The taste and texture of the scrambled egg was delicious, money well spent, it tasted even better than the ones at ADC and Star Cafe because it wasn’t buttery or greasy.
Although the taste of the black pudding was faint, the whole dish was yummy, the texture of the egg was so light and the scrambled egg was like droplets of cooked eggs forming in one mass.

SQUID COOKED WITH SQUID INK
I was amazed how tender and soft the squid was. Inside the squid, it was stuffed with its own tentacles. I wish I had taken a picture, but anyway there were lots of tentacles stuffed inside.
The sauce was slightly too sweet for my liking, but was nice for dipping the bread.

It just so happens that where I was sitting, the 5J Iberian ham was sliced right in front of me, the chef kindly gave me a piece to try, and said that it was the most expensive item they served. The leg of ham hung in the cupboard was worth HKD$19000.
The piece of ham I tried was nice and tender, slightly waxy and oily, however I didn’t eat the fat.

Anyway, I wasn’t that full, so ordered the 5J JAMON AND BECHAMEL CROQUETTES

5J JAMON AND BECHAMEL CROQUETTES
The coating of the croquette was nice and crispy, and not too oily. Inside the croquette, the béchamel cheese was liquid. There was lots of ham inside.

More about Jamón ibérico:
Jamón ibérico is ham from black Iberian pigs, that thrive, snuffling on the dusty ground for sweet acorns (bellota) fallen from the trees.
These fat pigs with slender legs are known simply as "pata negra" because of their trademark black hooves.
There are four grades of jamón ibérico, categorised primarily by the diet of the pigs. The curing process remains the same, but the length for which they are aged will differ with the lower grade hams receiving little more than a year of hanging and the very best up to four years.

The age difference can be seen in the finished result with the flesh of the younger hams having a lighter pink colour and those of older hams being a deep, ruby red. The taste too is very different with the acorn richness of the jamón ibérico de bellota lingering on the palate like a fine wine.

The ham served at Estudio was bellota grade, there was a label attached to the ham showing its grade.

From pure Iberico pigs fed on a diet of acorns during the Montanera and granted DO status. These hams are aged for at least three years before being released and often labelled 'reserva' and 'gran reserva' to denote their age.

Amusingly the website has chinese, so the Chinese are probably big customers of 5J!!

The carving of the ham was interesting, carving it into thin slices, although it is probably best carved by hand, it reminded me of Microtomy and cryosectioning because of the waxy texture of the ham

Both of my friends are working in Admiralty and therefore we have decided to try the new restaurant in the Food Hall under Seibu in PP. To be fair, I don’t like Spanish cuisine in particular and I am not in a good position to make any judgment. Overall speaking, dishes are freshly made upon customers’ order. This restaurant may worth you a trial if you are a fan of Spanish food.

Two of us just passed by while on the way to the Great Cafe for Christmas dinner. But we were attracted by the open kitchen and the tapas two gentlemen were enjoyed. We changed our minds and took the seats at the bar. Service was very friendly. The lady was very helpful in recommending the dishes. Every dish was good. We arrived at 6:30 for a 8pm show, and were the first customer of the night, taking up 2 seats at the end of the counter top table, but soon enough most of the seats were filled with couples and small groups of friends dropping by for a bite. Due to the limited space and the way the seats are arranged, I won't suggest coming here with more than a group of 3 or 4 or else you'll be craning your neck to hear each other. Also it's in the middle of a supermarket right next to the entrance escalator,

Also it's in the middle of a supermarket right next to the entrance escalator, facing White Spot, so not exactly a romantic location, but not a bad one for couples looking for a laid back casual meal.
We started off with an Estrella beer and a Sangria, both cold and tasty, and being a weakling with alcohol, the red wine hit me less than a minute after I took my first sip on an empty stomach. That put me in a mood for carbs craving, and thankfully the staff were pleasant and accommodating, refilling our bread plate at least 5 times throughout the night (with only 2 pieces each time, it wasn't as Atkin-repelling as it sounds).
We also ordered the Pan Con Tomate, which at $20 for 4 pieces isn't a problem per se, but the measly spread of tomato sauce on it meant I wouldn't bothered had I known in the first place, since there were olive oil and vinaigrette to dip in, and plenty of sauce in the tapas to go with the bread. Perhaps the open sandwiches ($55 for 3 choices of the open sandwiches) or the regular sandwiches would have been a more interesting choice.
Then we ordered 5 tapas. My bf got the Bravas Patatas which was a good sized dish with a dollop of cream cheese and tomato sauce, but unfortunately the potato cubes themselves were a bit soggy and lacked that crispy skin. There was also the potato croquets which had melted cheeze flowing out the moment it was cut open.

Tasty, but my bf preferred the ones with a meatier filling. The vegetable stew he ordered came as a stacked mound of finely diced cucumbers, eggplants, squash, tomato and other goodies, held together with a thin sauce that didn't overpower the dish and allowed the vegetable flavours to come through. Very good with bread too.

Another of my favourite dishes of the evening was the codfish (minimal amount) with spicy tomato sauce. It had slivers of bell pepper and a hearty tomato sauce which I gladly mopped up with MORE bread.

The last dish came about 15 minutes after everything else arrived, which was the peppers stuffed with prawns. "stuffed" would be an exaggeration, as I could barely find more than 4 or 5 morsels of near-microscopic pieces of prawn folded inside 2 very softly cooked red peppers, and the rest was mostly a cheezy sauce and some onions. The garlic prawns served to our neighbouring customers looked like a much better deal.

Tap water was served without fuss, and this has become one of my markers for a restaurant that accommodates diners from all walks of life, and also shows they are not snobbish with that better-than-thou attitude. Overall, not a bad meal, and we could probably improve on it with a better choice of tapas next time, and try some of the Iberico ham too.

I really liked this place. The food was good and they had a Spanish Head Chef, usually that doesn't happen. I had stuffed peppers with prawn, it was really gooood. Though be warned it was a small serving had I just eaten that alone for dinner it would not be enough. My parents had chriorrzo and sweet tomatoe sandwich and the salad with I'm guessing the ham cheese. These both were really good. Plus the people were nice so that's always good. It is a little pricy, but you are in Pacific Pl
