Mongkok is an area that i will always try to avoid coming especially during weekend as it was imfamous for the crowd. On this particular Sat noon, i decided to make my rare visit to this area as i need to buy some sports apparel. After some hectic walking for couple of hours, my stomach began toroar. In order to give my stomach a pamper, i decided to roam around nearby for some quick bites. After awhile, i decided to settle on this rather small dessert shop as i was tempted by its photos and boards outside. Even though it was just a small shop, their menu was rather comprehensive. Besides their signature waffles & chocolate, they do sell all day breakfast as noodles as well.  When i was given a seat near the entrance at 4pm plus, i never expected the shop to be that crowded at this timing. Whenever there were people leaving, there will always be someone standing outside waiting to take up the seat. English all day breakfast - As i was rather hungry, i ordered their recommended English all day breakfast. The waiter gave me the assurance that the serving will not be too big till i can't have my dinner later on. It consists of sausage, bacon, egg, baked beans, tomatoes, mini croissant & salad. The croissant was baked till nicely, crispy and soft. There is nothing much to comment on the sausages as it was supposed to taste the way it was meant to be. Eggs was not overly cooked, thus it suited me. Bacon was abit oily though.Brandy flavour warm valrhona chocolate cake with movenpick vanilla ice cream - As a fan of chocolate lava cake, i could not resist the chance of not ordering one, especially this one. I have not tried brandy flavour lava cake before. As it was made using Valrhona 85% cocoa, it was bitter tasting. Even though i prefer dark chocolate to white chocolate, it was still too bitter for me. And it was baked till well done, thus the lava cake was not really flowing out as i cut open it. It was okay for me though, but if a person like dark chocolate a lot, he might appreciate more.  繼續閱讀

食完午餐, 行左一陣街已經想食甜品, 尤其是大熱天時, 最好就係食一些透心涼的食物。下午茶時段都有常餐, 方便一些未食午餐或遲食午餐的朋友, 不用到甜品店只可食甜品, 而是有不少熱食選擇。始終是甜品店, 最旺的時間非晚上莫屬, 現在不用等位都可以食到, 時間上有優勢。內裡的設計偏向歐陸式, 型格之餘亦不失感覺置身於歐洲地方, 享受高級的下午茶。店內選擇何其多, 介紹一下全日早餐 &可麗餅窩夫 抹茶系列傳統甜品窩夫層層疊心太軟坐下就會安排一杯水, 不只一杯水, 水杯的骰又靚, 不可與其他店相比。餐牌上面雪糕好多都會配上movenpick 雪糕,就算非movenpick, 每球升級都只需加28蚊,要怪只怪自己口味特別,movenpick無出抹茶及菠蘿口味,我偏偏就想食這兩樣,唯有下次再揀有movenpick雪糕的甜品!******************************宇治金時冰冰($38)吸睛的方法有好多種,用高身杯將食物一層層放好,視為一種視覺的享受!底下有紅豆粒配少量牛奶,中間就用抹茶整成沙冰,上面就放上涼粉及一大球雪糕。抹茶味好突出!!味道不太甜,沙冰奶味亦不重,輕輕與已溶的雪糕球攪拌,就成了奶味濃的抹茶沙冰!涼粉作用非常大,令整杯飲品增加口感,就似抹茶甜品會放上小丸子一樣。紅豆粒粒分明,不太甜但又足以令整杯甜度適中,因為飲了不少抹茶,剩下的冰就與紅豆混合再飲(原本太滿,不便整杯攪拌), 以這杯做頭盤非常滿意!******************************宇治抹茶梳乎厘伴抹茶雪糕($64)核乎厘源於十八世紀,到現在已可製作不同口味,包括店內提供的薑汁、伯爵紅茶、抹茶及朱古力味, 平時朱古力味試得多,今次就一試抹茶味道如何。長圓角方碟配上一邊梳乎厘,一邊抹茶雪糕,分開少少,令冰火兩極食物分開避免影響。梳乎厘講軟綿外,更講求蛋香,兩者都做得好,不過略嫌控制焗爐火力不太好,頂部剛好,但內裡牛奶水旺旺,成不了軟又鬆香的內涵。抹茶味不太重但勝在完全不苦澀,不會因茶味濃而出現澀味。雪糕奶香重,中庸味道,未及有品牌的雪糕,與熱辣辣的梳乎厘成大對比!******************************菠蘿芒果脆脆層層疊($98)三層窩夫,配上三球雪糕,上面放上乾脆的菠蘿片。要做出鬆軟的waffle漿,此店就教我們用上日本的低筋麵粉,才可做到層次豐富的效果。雞蛋要分開處理好,再拌入粉漿,鬆軟的窩夫就完成!頂層有3球雪糕,分別雲呢拿,朱古力及抹茶味。雪糕作用相信是令食家食窩夫不太熱氣之餘,又有陣陣冰涼口感。中間夾了一塊菠蘿乾,中間的芯變成一個心形, 靚靚之餘, 我認為可給予客人用作示愛的一款甜品, 如碟邊寫上愛的字句就完美~~三層之間有cream相連,下一層夾心更有一塊菠蘿,令超愛菠蘿的我好驚喜, 刻意留起最後一層慢慢食!其實食甜品都可以食得好飽, 二人食完這個層層疊, 晚餐已沒有再食, 証明這個層層疊用料十足。滿足的一餐都是需要用甜品來結尾。 繼續閱讀

火焰雪山蛋白打得好企身(外表燒到金黃色),像焦左的白雪山,等待係……………………店員加烈酒一刻燒紅了烈酒,倒在雪山頂📷📷📷📷📷嘩著火的白雪山(不足5秒)視覺100分熄火後……內裡有格仔窩夫(好重蛋味)有一球呍尼嗱雪糕在甜品中央(中和了烈酒的苦),整體外觀100分,味道被烈酒的苦,佈滿,全個甜品(有烈酒的苦澀)這點又扣了一半分數另一款可愛甜品汽車盤上(有4塊窩夫,焦糖香蕉,3球雪糕)外表好可愛,每塊有不同口感,有士多啤梨+cream(好鲜甜)窩夫好重蛋味(不算焗得脆身)另一層(芝麻脆+cream)好香口好美味woo整體甜品外觀吸引,味道有小小失準 繼續閱讀
