Matsubishi is a reliable restaurant for teppanyaki. A teppanyaki dinner can cost around $1000 or more per head, but the food is consistently accomplished.
I went there one weekend for lunch and found out that their lunch sets are pretty decent too. There was no wow-factor, just typical, traditional Japanese fare, but everything was tasty.
(1) The Grilled Cod Fish ($180) was well grilled, and was fatty and tender.
(2) We also tried the Grilled Seasonal Fish ($180), and I liked the crispy skin.
(3) The Tempura ($160) was nicely fried, and the prawn was large and firm.
(4) The Sashimi Set ($270) was acceptable for a teppanyaki restaurant.
(5) The Teriyaki Beef ($180) was cooked in a pleasantly sweet sauce, and the meat was juicy and firm.

估唔到閒日都咁爆,冇哂BAR位
唔緊要啦遠D欣賞,鐵板燒照食,仲叫多左個壽司盛合
酒店餐廳水準有保證
樣樣都係用料新鮮
最正永遠係沙律既甜甜酸酸既汁
加埋頂級新鮮既菜真係好FRESH
最出色係厚切三文魚
佢既皮係熟但保持到入面仲係生
睇佢咁厚肉就覺得好食
我唔好三文魚都覺唔錯
其他件件都色澤均衡,正常水準
薑花如常好食
有D失手燒得耐左覺得好韌仲有少少苦味
唔錯,底下既麵包用左黎吸油
5成熟,真係夠多汁同嫩滑
岩岩好既口感
配埋燒汁同大蒜仲好食
用料都足,色澤靚
但食落冇想像中咁香口,
個人覺得調味可以重手D
整體黎講唔會差,但冇特別深刻既味道

一早book左位,去到唔洗等,即刻坐低,由於我地坐燒烤的位,餐廳好細心噤俾左每人一張圍裙,驚我地俾油彈到衫。
首先嗌左刺身,有牡丹蝦,油甘魚同拖羅,牡丹蝦超大隻,個蝦頭仲另外炸上碟,激多膏,油甘魚都好食,好鮮,拖羅肥到不得了,正啊,幾貴都抵。
之後上左個唔知咩沙律,我覺得一般,但我朋友話他啲醬係廚房自己配,出面食唔到喎。。
根住再嗌左兩隻日本廣𡷊蠔,燒,睇住師傅為兩隻野又焗又落牛油又白酒又蒜片噤,都ok的。
因為他d野係師傅見你食完先再燒,保持熱度,所以心急的朋友都預左如果主攻燒烤的話一餐飯閒閒地吃兩個鐘。
之後見他拿隻大過手掌的元貝燒,等10分鐘,2啖食完。
其間waiter不停幫你換碟加茶,自動自覺,完全不用叫。
之後上來糖煎鵝肝,哇,外脆內嫩,勁好味,師傅手勢一流,其間我朋友同他不停交留整鵝肝的心得,好搞笑。
再來一個鹽燒三文魚頭,咸左小小,呢個一般。
當晚最期待的來了,和牛,yeah,其實我不識分他是f幾,淨係知好好吃,五成熟,厚切,一d都唔感覺油。
最後食左個炒雜菜,由于我非常之好芽菜,我朋友叫師傅落多d,師傅又肯喎,勁好人,我朋友細細聲講芽菜值得幾多錢丫。哈哈笑死我。
當晚7點半去到食到差唔多10點走,如果唔係坐燒烤台睇住他整,我諗一早屌曬鬼,是晚埋單2700幾,仲送左兩個鐘泊車優惠,吃得好盡興,好開心!

而大蝦可謂是鐵板燒中的我的摯愛,爽口彈牙的蝦肉已經夠好吃的了,還有煎得香脆的蝦頭,這時候必須要點上我另一最愛,朝日生啤來好好享受一番。
薄薄的牛肉包著特多蔥。
炒麵很適合和啤酒一起呢。

終於有機會一試這間餐廳, 入到去, 和太太點了兩個 set dinner
先o黎沙律及前菜.
可能時間尚早 (六點幾), 一位女廚師為我們做鐵版燒. (整晚見有四位廚師, 三男一女). 當她準備開始時, 唔知係咪見到我地枱面放了碟醬油, 便問我們想唔想食完壽司先食鐵版燒 (真細心). 吃完海膽壽司, 便開始入正餐.
燒野有燒蝦 / 帶子 / 鰻魚 (選了蝦及帶子), 後尾發覺冇選鰻魚, 有點後悔呢...
之後就到散見既燒鵝肝, 好好味呢....
跟住又回到 set 既薄燒牛肉. 正
再o黎散叫既串燒牛舌, yummy~~~
跟住又番去 set 既厚燒和牛, 其實都好味, 但個人覺得薄燒相對好味少少.
再o黎一個炒飯.
跟住就o黎個炒面, 點知太太食食o下見到有條頭髮....
.....同經理講, 佢地勁唔好意思, 話換過俾我地, 其實都飽飽地, 只係諗住同佢講唔要. 跟住我食食o下都見到我o個碟都有....
....再同經理講, 佢係咁對唔住, 問我地要唔要烏冬, 見佢好有誠意, 不妨一試. 發覺烏冬好好味呢....
最後就送埋雪糕同水果 (其實唔記得o左係唔係個餐包埋.
)
總結係服務真的一流. 食物水準都相當不俗.

我地叫左 lunch set : 前菜係沙律,普普通通既日式菜, 冇咩特別。
炒菜好多水同油.... 唔好食... 炒飯亦都係太太太多蔥, 我個人就唔太喜歡, 所以冇食到. 最後仲有甜品 cheesecake一件, 不過不失啦。 總括黎講, 我應該唔會再去第2次, 因為鐵板燒既餐廳仲有幾間, 可以試其他~

經驗老到的師3
上網搜集資料提到松菱的質素與花盃相若, 而花盃已試過多次,
所以今天一定要試試松菱鐵板燒,
先說說環境, 於酒店三樓, 格調優雅, 有日本面具做裝飾, 是有點傳統日本餐廳的味道
午餐$180起, 我們叫了兩個中價的午餐, 主要是有牛肉和大蝦
師傅手起刀落,已把大蝦拆殼, 而且生熟度和調味恰到好處,
牛肉則有厚切和薄切

總括來說, 松菱食物質素不下於花盃, 和三味以及灘萬
而且位於酒店內, 感覺高級, 價錢較也十分親民
可以一試再試的餐廳!

雜誌成日見到某某富商,某某富豪幫襯既日式鐵板燒"松菱", 今日終於可以一試, 知道這裡晚餐要double价錢, 我地d small potatos 就緊係揀午餐最化算, 又適逢冬至Team Lunch, 就豪一豪佢在這聚餐

已知這裡很旺場, 預早於十二月初訂枱
一到步櫃檯姐姐就安排我地坐在bar枱既coner 位, 位置偏入但有少少私人空間, 可以大伙兒傾計, 正!
我地每人獲發一件圍巾及一份meun, 最後決定3份梅+1份竹(竹只多了燒魚+燒海老/帆立貝), 牛要切粒上, 3個飯1個麵.
主理師傅打完招呼後就開始施展運身解數製作我地既big lunch, 沒食都興奮. 雖然唔係第一次食鐵板燒, 但係第一次坐定定睇師傅表現

前菜 - 日式沙律
燒魚+帆立貝(與同事share各半份) - 因我唔食魚, 但來到點都要試吓, 魚皮燒的香脆, 魚肉剛好唔o鞋, 但我都覺得有d腥. 帆立貝很厚肉, 外脆內軟, 很甜, 好味!
米國牛(七成熟) - 牛煮法有兩種(切粒/薄片), 我揀咗切粒配蒜片上, 外面脆口, 但肉汁較少, 牛味較淡, 如我不是牛魔王就ok. 份量大, 一個人食都好飽.
炒飯/炒麵各半份 - 炒飯一粒粒, 有少少飯焦(唔係濃), 配菜有大量蔥花, 雞蛋, 牛肉粒, 加日式醬油一齊炒, 飽都繼續. 炒麵配以椰菜,芽菜,甜豉油同炒, 好好味!
牛奶布甸 - 是日甜品, 布甸香渭不過甜, 是整餐既完美收筆.
很滿足的一餐, 下次要試燒牛薄片.

Matsubishi - a favourite for years! All these years, I visited and revisited this place repeatedly. When I was studying abroad, Matsubishi had always been on my wish-list/to-do-list every time I returned to Hong Kong for breaks.
Good old times.
Nice and comfortable environment. There are a few small rooms - you can book a room if you have sufficient number of people. Apart from the teppanyaki seating, there are also a sushi bar and some normal table seating. Staff and teppanyaki chefs were all courteous and friendly.



Ordered a "Take" set (HK$230). With this set, you would be served with salad, grilled prawn or scallop, grilled salmon, beef (choice of thick or thin sliced), fried vegetable, fried rice or noodle, miso soup, pickles and a dessert! In my opinion, it is quite good value given the quality of the food and the performance of the chef!

Salad
Salad - very fresh and crisp, the cherry tomato was sweet. However, there was a bit too little dressing and it tasted uninteresting. The salad could easily be done better.
Grilled King Prawn
The Chef was skilful; dissecting the king prawns, piling the skin and removing the intestines.
Very nice king prawn. Prawn was of a good size and was fresh. Simple seasoning (salt, pepper, butter, soy sauce, hint of lemon juice) was already enough to amplify the goodness. 
Grilled Salmon
Nice Salmon. Again, simple seasoning was used; and so the natural and simple fresh salmon taste was not undermined.
It was cooked nicely! The salmon skin was super crispy and the salmon was not over-cooked at all. Look at the photo! Divinely raw in the middle. Yum!! 

Thin-sliced beef roll with fried garlic and spring onion
One of the reasons why I love love love having the teppanyaki set lunch here is the generous amount of beef served. At other restaurants, I often felt very unsatisfied. Never had the problem here!! Superb thin-sliced beef roll wrapped with fried garlic and spring onion. Every time I visited, the Chef would ask how well I would like the beef to be done and the proportion of fried garlic and spring onion wrapped. I enjoyed observing how the Chef did these beef rolls - ever so swiftly and ever so gracefully. For the 'Matsu' set, you would be served with Japanese beef; more expensive. For me, I have always been happy enough with the US beef from the 'Take' set! Good beef flavour, tender, soft and juicy - LOVE! 


Fried Rice
Good fried rice is not the easiest to make. The fried rice here was GOOD. The Chef started by stir-frying the egg, then he added the rice and topped the rice with a good amount of diced meat and veg! It was then a lot of mixing and stiring, flipping and blending. The fried rice was very very flavourful!
We were also served with pickles and miso soup at the same time.
Fried Vegetable
Yes, it did not look the best. The fried vegetable consisted mainly beansprouts~ Not flavourful enough, just a very simple soy-sauce-salty-type taste. This did not really bother me though, I was so full by then.
Dessert
Ended with dessert. They offer different daily dessert or you could choose ice-cream. It was cold, but I stuck with ice-cream. Green tea ice-cream. Very creamy, but the green tea flavour was not strong enough. Just ok.



There are many good reasons why this place has so many loyal customers, like me.

其他鐵板燒就食得多,咁多年都未去過松菱,星期六朝剛好公司在會展搞 event,於是 book 了中午去松菱。
揀了 "竹" 餐,美國牛。先上沙律,雪得稍為太凍,沙律醬則沒有驚喜。先做三文魚,魚皮很快就黐到誠鐵板上,三文魚肉都煎得恰到好處,魚皮則很脆。帶子也煎得很香,味道鮮甜,大蝦肉質鮮美,蝦頭則一般。美國牛薄燒,蒜頭是預先煎好的,所以跟牛肉上碟的時候已經林了,有點黐牙,同時煎牛時油放多了,食時滿口係油。炒飯則很高質素,味道及口感一流。炒麵則甜了點,另外麵條則太碎。炒牙菜又好高質,唔會太多水,頗乾身。綠茶雪糕很香。
可能松菱歷史尤久,抽風設備在今時今日己經有點落伍了。只是在鐵板上抽風,不能完全抽走油煙,所以其實一踏入松菱已經感到油煙味,不過裝修仍然頗新。
值得一試。
