today is my sis bd. we tried a lot of hotel buffet in t.s.t. sis suggest to go here. we negoitate with the manager about 3 cars 3 hours parking. finally we r a bit over 3 hours. manager still give us. service very nice. environment very good. food are nice. it has ordered free expensive food e.g. shrimp, lamb, etc. not a lot of selection but everything is nice. if 1 of our name's letter same as the restuarant's 1 letter. we have the whole bill 25% off. in fact we never need to show our credit card or id, the bill already 25% off. it is quite hard to drive there as no much sign. but i guess we will go there again, as the service is quite good, food are tidy and clean.

booked this buffet more than one month ago, for celebrating my family members' birthday.
as my review topic - great expectation, great disappointment.
varieties: many different food, from cold to hot, from raw to cooked.
services: very attentive services.
food quality: that's what i mean disappointed:
- raw oysters: yes it's opened before your eye, the chef was busy opening oysters. when i saw he "washed" every opened oysters with water, you know the standard there. he opened the oysters, "washed" them with a tank of water, and put them out for you to pick. i am an oyster monster, i love oyster very much, but all i can say is - tasteless. the oyster quality was not good, and i also found broken shells... i had 11, and 2 with broken shells.
- sashimi: haha i can only say it's really really terrible quality, worse then anything. go try the tuna, you'll suspect if it's fake fish...
- soup: the chinese soup was made by the tang court chef (with a label mentioning this), really good and smelled great! the western soup - lobster soup - was terrible. with the usual thick texture, it tasted funny - i took a sip and told my sister "it's like the lobster sauce with pasta".
- cha siu was good, i like it.
- baked oysters: made with order. hot, but again tasteless, the oyster itself was small and the toppings were not attractive too.
- parma ham: dry, not tender, not juicy, very cheap quality ham.
- dessert bar: in general desserts were better, very nice.
if you go with a birthday friend, you pay $280 on average. i went with three others and thus ended up with ~$400 per head.
it absolutely didn't worth over $250.
with similar price, todai, intercontinental and the hunghom hotel are better choices.

Seafood一流 + Good Service
1) 首先就講講我至愛既oyster, 佢有兩種 - 美國同澳洲, 兩者都ok, 佢會即開, 味道唔錯, 但較細隻, 所以要食好幾轉先夠喉 (掛住食, 唔記得影相添);
2) 再黎就講lobster - 都係有兩隻, 但我較鐘意食boston多d, 肉質好甜, 又好肉, 最緊要係不斷有人refill;
3) 翡翠螺 - 查實佢d肉都好滑好鮮甜, 但好鬼多沙, 食左兩粒我都唔再食;
4) 蟹鉗 - 拑埋個殼架喇, 啖啖肉, 正;
5) 和牛 - super 正, 好"淋" 好juicy, 但食多幾舊就會覺得有d滯;
6) main course係四揀二, 有羊架丶abalone丶燕窩燉蛋白同蝦配海膽, 我地唔同既combination都叫左, overall都唔錯, 係友人話個abalone同蝦太salty;
7) 熱葷就比較遜色, 無咩選擇: 唔同肉既curry丶即叫即做既tempura丶燒味丶fish fillet丶 炒菜丶四季豆, 仲有我覺得好好味既mushroom西冷牛柳丶creamy spaghetti, 同埋按你favorite黎整既焗蠔, 我揀左牛油丶菠菜cream同bacon, 都唔錯, 但一定要趁熱食;
8) souffle dessert - ok喎, 不過食唔開dessert既人會覺得超甜, 呢份dessert係要同waiter order先有既, 一人一份;
9) 其他dessert仲有不能少得既ice-cream丶cheesecake丶fruit tart果d普通野丶chocolate fountain (有mushmallow + pineapple + strawberry)丶生果就only得watermelon + honey melon + melon + grape, 連火龍果都冇;
10) lobster bisque - 放最尾先講因係最差, 得個咸字, 無龍蝦味;
All in all, waiter個個都好有禮貌同埋好樂意係咁幫你執碟, service唔錯

一次都嫌多
由頭盤開始。沙拉只有零星幾種,caesar 沙律的醬只有卡夫味,油醋瓶的olive oil沒味道,醋竟然是酒樓點小籠包的紅醋,乜事?
海鮮:種類算是多,王帝蟹腳,澳州小龍蝦等都有提供。唯,70%的肉是霉的,剩下的30%,可吃進口,但只有海鮮的肉質沒有海鮮的味道。奇過幻海奇情。
好,海鮮食唔過,食壽司,魚都是放到沒有光澤的刷子膠;飯仲衰,好似煮左24小時先比你食,完全不能入口。
圖片是朋友眼見生蠔不能吃,改為吃烤的,左:chesse焗;中:BACON焗; 右:波菜焗生蠔,不能下嚥的程度。又老又腥。
現場有4款主菜提供,分別為鮑魚/和牛/燕窩布丁/miso 烤魚,每人可選2款, 友儕間四款都選遍。鮑魚: 手指公咁大隻,真係一啖可以食幾隻; 牛,友人問侍應:我要3成,medium rare,侍應說要問廚師,然後回來說"已燉好,是6成,要熟一點的話可以幫你弄" (但沒說要吃生一點可以怎樣)牛上來的時候明明是有網烤的紋樣,點解會係燉?????點解會仲難食過一大舊切出來的roast beef? 魚烤的嫩嫩,本以為ok,但有雪水味....唯有燕窩是不敗之作,因為沒有味道的東西根本不會難吃吧。
另外也有一set的甜點提供,souffle和另外2種小甜點。souffle只有粉味,另外一小件的蛋糕,竟然像未焗的粉團!!!!!一粒粒的粉,一pat pat的醬。
全晚唯一可取的是印度烤餅, 還有叉燒都可以一吃。
因為有cx amex卡有8折,7位仍要3100,近450一位吃霉的海鮮,印度炸餅和叉燒,大家都明乜叫食一次都嫌多。

2星期已BOOK, 可惜都是WAITING LIST, 於今天一旱我再致電查詢, 很好她們說盡瓣法幫我留一張TABLE,終於有了, 我們七時去到, 人山人海..
原來每人都有2款即叫即煮的主菜,澳洲M4和牛、鮑魚,比目魚及燕窩布甸4款,提升自助餐的格調。
海鮮吧鋪滿琵琶蝦、阿拉斯加蟹腳、小龍蝦、翡翠螺及青口等,無限量供應波士頓龍蝦及澳洲龍蝦,愛海鮮的我對此餐廳"有少少鐘意左佢"

熱盤選擇唔多,幾款都係魚,最欣賞雲腿蒸比目魚肉質夠滑,
點心有兩款义燒飽和珍珠雞,燒鵝皮脆香口义燒入味,還有生滾蟹粥,
朋友試過咖喱話好味,我怕辣無試到,
魚生壽司亦新鮮,甜品都算唔錯,鍾意蜜糖布甸夠滑唔會太甜
整嗰lunch buffet 選擇真係少,但品質唔錯,着重食物質數

得知呢度生日係free, 同埋食物水準吾錯, 所以生日就book咗呢度...一去到末夠7點已經勁多人...可能好多人都知道呢度有discount..不過咁又係既...原價$468..discount咗一個人都吾洗$300, 真係好抵...仲要係食波士頓龍蝦...
食物真係好新鮮...波士頓龍蝦任食..我地食咗成十隻...仲有翡翠螺...又食咗成廿幾粒...生蠔係即開...保證衛生...本身吾太食生蠔, 但食完第一隻之後, 覺得好鮮...之後仲食咗成廿幾隻...同埋佢係細細隻, 幾好食...至於沙拉都有十幾款, d菜係city super個d貴價菜, 食落好爽, 好fresh...
至於壽司及刺身, 呢個選擇就吾太多...同埋因為有飯, 所以無食到..因為好易食飽
熱盤款式亦有十數款, 仲有即烤蠔,配上蒜蓉、煙肉等來吃很惹味吸引。除了一般熱盤,餐廳亦有提供一些咖喱、燒味...選擇多元化...

其實今餐都算好抵死。。用料真誠。。唔係CHEAP野,尤其係龍蝦。。好多款又好味。。不過如果要我要正價食的話,我會選擇洲際,因他的服務真的好好好好~
呢到D服務唔係唔好。。。但好似坐係坐位到既時侯唔知點解好似自置身於一間食緊200元既酒店自助餐咁。。。坐位個AREA 唔係好得。。好普通!
熱盤方面,我介紹唔到比大家,因我冇乜食到,我同我老公不斷食龍蝦同蝦。。。
有個自選頭盤,鮑魚同和牛,真係好好味。。和牛半生熟。。剛剛好。。想要多件都冇呀。。。
唔講咁多,總之生日月去食就真係抵抵抵~

食物方面好似好多款式,但唔係人人鍾意,
海鮮:食過二款龍蝦,螺,青口,我覺得無味要點豉油,蝦和生蚝最鮮味.
鵝肝和咖哩雞最好食
,其餘巴馬火腿,水煮牛肉,三文魚,燒蚝,燒牛肉一般.
好在有二個主菜和一個甜品比較好,如果唔係我怕食唔飽.
員工很有禮貌值得一讚.

作晚在朗廷L’Eclipse享用了一頓豐富的自助晚餐。餐廳面積不大,setting都ok嘅,但比起其他餐廳如唐閣,當然無咁舒適。平日價錢$468一位另加一,假期再貴$20,老實說,並不便宜。不過,一分錢一分貨是真的,店內供應多是貴價菜式,而且供應不絕,賣相吸引。另外,碰巧可享用生日優惠,生日月份那位免費(須按原價付加一),絕對抵吃
先說沙律吧,各式蔬菜配料有十數款,用料新鮮,尤其是沙律菜,完全能吃得出「爽甜」這味道
冷盤以海鮮為主,青口、翡翠螺、凍蝦、琵琶蝦應有盡有。主角是龍蝦,有迷理龍蝦仔、波士頓龍蝦及澳洲龍蝦任君選擇。全部海鮮都很新鮮,味道不俗
日式美食有壽司及刺身,款式不算多,各有四五款。壽司賣相麻麻,尤其是壽司飯,製作得形狀大少不一,以五星酒店的標準來說並不合格
熱盤款式亦有十數款,豬、牛、羊、雞齊備。龍蝦及蠔的熱食款式亦不少,尤其是即烤蠔,配合蒜蓉、煙肉等來吃很惹味吸引
較為特別的是每名顧客可從原隻鮑魚、燕窩薑汁蛋白布甸、煎和牛及比目魚四款主菜中選兩款美食。原隻鮑魚約二三十頭,味道不算香濃,一般。和牛肉質腍,有牛味,不過比起一些aged過嘅牛扒,味道還是差了一點。比目魚portion較少,很重牛油香味,唔錯。
最後是甜品,同樣有十數款,有雪糕、pancake、朱古力噴泉、各式慕絲、cheesecake等等,賣相精緻。雪糕幾滑,不過甜咗DD。其他甜品味道一般喇!另外,每人也有當晚甜品精選一客,作晚是「朱古力三重揍」,有朱古力梳乎厘、朱古力蛋糕等。梳乎厘texture過實,無了入口即溶之口感;其餘兩款味道都甜咗少許。
總括來說,此店用料新鮮,食物水準不俗,尤以海鮮冷盤較出色。適逢優惠,值得一試

之後就食生蠔 .. 都好fresh ..

呢到咁貴係因為佢除左食buffet 之後 ..
每人都仲有2個main course 同一個特定甜品

雖然鮑魚真係好細隻 .. 但係好淋 . 燕窩 好好味
到最後 .. 食雪糕 ..

greater expectation, greater disappointment...

as my review topic - great expectation, great disappointment.

食物ok, 但服務員態度有問題
所以先去食, book晒枱, 有埋booking no. 但去到個度, 阿receipt
哥哥話冇wow, 比晒電話號碼同booking no.佢都話睇唔到, 咁我
打比我個frd 再confirm 係唔係book左呢間啦, 比埋個電話佢同
receipt哥哥講, 跟住位哥哥先話見到個booking, 先安排我地坐
低, 但咩mood都冇晒喇。
之後就食左生蠔(都幾新鮮), 龍蝦 (冇味)
其他食物都差唔多, 如果唔係一位free 都唔會去食呀,
唔抵食, 服務又差。
最後埋單時呢位receipt哥哥話比張card片我, 下次自己打黎
book枱, 但張card片唔係佢個名!? 真奇怪.... (?)
總之, 生日呀, 大時大節呀, 我都唔會再選擇黎呢度慶祝
4-5百蚊有好多地方服務仲好, 仲有氣氛

My birthday celebration dinner
鮑魚 ~ 真的很細呢!!!
一入門口就馬上有人帶位,服務唔錯。可惜的是,枱與枱之間實在太貼;好似成日俾隔離枱偷聽到講野咁。亦因為放得太多枱既關係,真係有D嘈;一D都唔似響酒店食buffet.
因為今期的主打是龍蝦,咁當然要即刻試下得唔得先啦...由於佢地既龍蝦係凍食既,我就覺得唔夠Todai好食。不過最好既係有人不段refill,唔洗等。男朋友話佢地D龍蝦一流,因為有好多膏。
除左是食buffet,每人仲可以叫多兩款指定既main course。我地就當然叫D最貴嫁啦!!我同男朋友每人點左一份鮑魚同一份燕窩燉蛋白。佢地D鮑魚真係嚇人的細,口大既人真係一口可以食兩隻.....
食buffet我最鍾意就係食甜品,可惜呢度選擇唔多....最驚喜的是佢地既法式焦糖燉蛋真係好正,size又唔係好大;一D都無好滯既感覺。
依家生日免費都值得再黎食多次,若果無左呢個優惠;我相信一定無咁多人囉.....
