Total of 8 dishes and the portion for each dish is small. It's a very simple Sichuan cuisine and definitely not worth for $200 per person. The dessert is good.
Environment is poor in terms of no renovation / decoration. Service is average.
Dinner : $200 Nett Wine : $180 per bottle of White Wine. Or bring whatever you want as no corkage fee.
surprisingly good food despite all the bad reviews. very big portions. we were a party of 10 and was the only table there that night, which was great for us.
loved the chicken w/ chillies, v spicy, juicy chicken meat. the clear noodles w/ chillies also very good, tasted different from the chicken. the fried shrimps w/ chillies was gorgeous, fried to perfection, can eat the crispy shells. the mapo tofu was not bad, silky tofu but overshadowed by the other dishes. the sauteed potatoes and aubergines looked/sounded uninspired but actually tasted very good, with the potatoes slightly crispy on the edges (but very oily).
the remaining dishes were not bad, but nothing to write home about. the fish was a bit disappointing as it was too salty and the cold noodles was bland as it was requested to be less spicy.
overall the food was pretty good. the decor/ambience was minimal and service although the guy tried very hard, consisted of the sous chef in his wife beater and black water boots bringing out the dishes and pouring our wine.
don't go if u can't take spicy as u'll go hungry at the end of the meal, even though there's a mix of spicy and non-spicy dishes, the spicy dishes were definitely the highlight.
The worst sichuan food in Hong Kong probably, definitely the worst among the ones I've been to.
In my opinion this one is a million times WORSE than the private sichuan kitchen in wanchai.
The service is unbelievably bad, the waitress (probably also the boss) there is rude to the highest degree, hung up on people for absolutely no reason when we called to book (happened to me and my friend), beyond comprehension. I guess their business is too good that they don't even give a damn? Not to mention the greasy tables & chairs & dodgy-looking kitchen, I can guarantee you'd lose all your appetite if you take a glance at the kitchen.
As to food (dinner), I'm not sure it's even sichuan? It's more like twisted shanghai food, and not in a good way. The "boiling water fish", which is supposed to be the signature sichuan dish, is disgusting. Most of the dishes are either tasteless or taste really weird. Wonder why they even claim they are sichuan food?
Lunch is ok, very limited choices but at least quick and reasonable price/quality. This place certainly has scarcity value since there's no other places offering sichuan food for lunch in central, but I will NEVER EVER go there for dinner again, given there are the hollywood road one, yellow-door and esp. the wanchai sichuan private kitchen available.

3. 痲婆豆腐, 一食個口痲左, 無左味覺一陣
4. 第三鮮. 几爽, 由於真的無咩特別... 屋企都COOK 到
5. 回鍋肉... 好油, 好肥... 但又無咩味
6. 辣子蝦, 一上個下好好味, 又脆, 又熱LA LA , 點知... 過多陣... 凍左少少.. 連食都食唔到.. 好多野凍左個味係會差D , 但未至於食唔到, 但呢個真係唔得...
7. 干煸四季豆... 食左2粒..好油... 干煸應該係乾的.. 但佢用油面羅
8. 白飯任食, 但面就只有一碟, 8個人一枱, 但只係俾一個人份量, 要串佢話人人俾120, 但要8個人分一碟一個人分量的面, 佢先俾多2碟我地, 佢要大大聲話送既.
9. 甜品: 冰粉... 一碟無味的大菜糕... 只係D 糖水有極少甜味.

令人回味的東北家常菜!
朋友本身是東北人,經常下廚煮兩味,令我慢慢喜歡上東北家庭每餐桌上必定有的家常涼拌。他特地叫老闆娘拌了作第一道菜,不在餐牌上的啊! 很開胃的涼拌! 配料記不清楚了,大概有剁碎了的粉絲、豆干絲、蘿蔔絲等等,都是很簡單的料;但就酸酸的、帶點麻油香、加上辣味,把悶熱天氣的差胃口一掃而空!
胃口準備好,第二道菜就來了,是熘肉段。熘肉聽朋友說好像本來是魯菜的一種煮法還是怎麼的。東北菜受魯菜影響極深,熘肉倒是在東北發揚光大了。段就是一小條的肉,咬下去軟軟的滑滑的,加上尖椒(綠色的那種)一起炒,配上白飯好吃的不得了!
第三道菜是鍋包肉。我發覺其實從菜的名字是估不到這個菜的內容。看一看餐牌,我想很多人來這裡吃的都是川菜,而我們今次專門來嚐是東北家常菜,大多是餐牌上看不明白的菜。鍋巴肉是其中之一。是把肉排上漿(其實不是槳,好似有點麥片的感覺,總之就像我們炸排骨一樣拍粉着衣才炸一樣)再炸,配上一種酸酸甜甜的醬,很好很好吃!因為醬汁帶酸,所以不會很膩,就算不配白飯一樣好吃。
第四道菜是炒土豆絲。遠看像是白飯魚。薯條切得很幼細,嚼起來很爽脆,不會軟,炒的很好!而且有很香的薯味。幸好我們沒有要太多的白飯,因為一小口一小口的吃,不知不覺就吃很多,而且土豆絲很飽肚!
第五道菜是炒黑白。其實就像媽媽常做的黃芽白木耳炒肉絲。但不同的是這個木耳好吃得多。聽老闆娘說是由東北帶過來,是東北種的木耳,比香港買得到的小,口感也不一樣,沒有那麼爽,不會很”挺”(香港的木耳煮完後都會有一棵或一塊葉般的形狀吧?這個不會)。不知道怎麼形容,我只知道伴這個菜我吃了很多白飯!
最後一道菜是炸茄盒。另一個朋友馬上叫了起來,還以為是甚麼事呢,原來他上次去東北沒能吃到,所以顧不得燙嘴馬上吃了一件。兩片茄子中間夾著調得很惹味的肉末,上漿後再炸。我本來不算太好茄子,又怕痘痘,都憋不住吃了兩大件,但吃完以後馬上感到熱氣..
總的來說,是很令人回味的一餐! 朋友說這是家常菜,跟上館子吃的菜不一樣。不過在我看跟上館子的一樣美味。朋友說老闆娘做的很有家鄉風味,他在家就是吃這個味道,難怪他的嘴這麼饞! 美中不足的是這是私房菜性質,菜點多了可能上得慢,為了避免這個情況,有些菜可能弄好一個部份,待會兒再繼續;所以有一兩味吃起來不夠熱。看下面的食評,大家都對川菜感到失望。很辣的其實並不一定代表好吃或正宗,也有四川朋友來吃過說川菜做得很地道;不過香港人對川菜的辣或味道就是有期望吧,配合了香港開的川菜館。我沒有吃過這裡的川菜,所以不會評論;但我很喜歡這裡的東北家常菜!

午市似是普通的麵館,只有麵食及冷盤小食。
宜賓燃麵-可能是少辣關係,不夠火紅油亮,色香味並不俱全,麵身又略為腍,相比起渝川的四川涼麵舖滿了蔥花、花生及火光紅紅的辣油,真是非常好懷。
排骨粉及酸辣粉-前這是同事推介,味道一般,排骨不太入味,而湯底當然不能與後者相比。燈紅色的酸辣粉,可能我認為不夠辣,感覺上酸味較突出。粗粗圓圓的薯粉,晶瑩剔透、爽滑可口是我的至愛。
口水雞-又是不香不辣不麻,雞肉極嚡口,不過一碟$20,不也能要求太高。
拍黃瓜-清涼爽脆,同時是辣度不夠。
以上的極其量只是中辣,他們已覺勁度十足,對我來講只是小學程度,毫無難度及刺激,就算我另加辣油,也沒有鼻水流流,真是不夠過足口癮。

lunch係唔使訂位架, 去到即order, 檯上有d好似車仔麵既order 紙, 紙上唔係得好多選擇, 最滿意係佢註明有幾辣, 之前睇過好多人都介紹"宜賓燃麵", 點都要試喇, 呢個係中辣, 另外一個"四川擔擔麵"(少辣), "口水雞"(中辣)同埋"紅油抄手"
先講宜賓燃麵, 一眼望落去, 似係口水雞果d辣椒乾撈麵, 無餸既, 第一啖食落去..個頭有d標汗, 好彩對住個窗口, 唔係就失禮, 我個fd仲話我面都紅埋, 的確係辣既...反而口水雞無佢咁辣喎, 另外紅油抄手, 隻隻都好細粒, d皮好薄好滑, 亦都好熱, 一碗有6小粒, 但呢個我覺得無乜味囉, 口水雞就o岩哂懶人食, 因為無皮無骨, 好ok, 最後個四川擔擔麵有少連肉碎, 同平時果d有少少唔同, 有少少麻既感覺, 不過我覺得佢地d麵有朕"面粉"味, 怪怪地咁

第一, 唔係好洗等位 (但水準很好)
第二, 靜
呢兩樣野係中環己經係好好好好好難得
第三, 佢改變我對辣的看法, 我以往係唔食得辣亦唔鍾意食辣
我頭號最愛係牛肉粉(排骨都好食, 但牛肉同粉夾d), 個湯好濃郁, 個粉好彈好好咬
跟住係口水雞, 雖然係大辣但個雞唔硬又夠味
撈面, 好辣, 個面好好食, 無乜料但係我覺得淨面己經夠喇
小心個擔擔面同一般上海店食既好唔同, 咸到不得了, 所以唔好亂試
記住記住, 唔可以唔食冰粉, 非常重要
你食完就會明白我點解咁講嫁喇~
!!! esp建議係冬天食, 有保暖功效 !!

好吃
1:价钱比以前贵了20元每个人,我们得到的解释是现在的物价暴涨,餐厅只是象征的涨了20块……well,可以解释这样的解释。
2:换了2位年轻漂亮的服务员,服务态度,笑容都非常好,而且质素很高,
3:菜式比较以前真的多了好多好多,特别是最新的‘串烧大虾’卖相好不说,又有一点点辣,很好吃。
4:老板非常热情,真的给人感觉到到了家里做客的感觉,吃完了所有的菜,老板又给我们亲手擀皮,包饺子,哇~~真的够味到。
下次一定好要去~

2. 宜賓燃麵- ok, 暖暖地,辣辣地, 可以話係最好食
3. 排骨麵- 個湯無味, d麵好林, 排骨好似煲完老火湯既排骨, 無晒味
4. 紅油炒手- 粒雲吞係凍既! 個湯唔熱亦無味
5. 烚生菜- 走辣,賣相唔係咁討好,似賣唔晒既菜
6. 口水雞- 唔算太辣, 雞都算滑
今日唔見周媽媽親自招呼,而係兩個後生d既女仕, 落單,上菜效率就好咗好多. 我唸我都要隔一段好長既時間先會再幫親!

1. 牛肉粉: 入面其實係牛唔係牛肉...個粉口感不錯
2. 擔擔麵: 好有花生味, 好味...
但係個牛肉粉應該係唔辣的, 點知變左辣。而個擔擔麵應該辣既又食唔到有辣味, 估計係攪錯左~
3. 紅油抄手: $10一個幾抵, 1啖1粒
4. 冰粉: 凍冰冰, 好似涼粉....食完辣野食佢, 正~舒緩d辣~
但係我唔係咁受得味精, 食完麵就開始感覺到唔舒服!~too bad!

2.痳辣面:我食唔出有痳辣味,呢個係中辣,但一D都唔辣。
3.涼拌菜:黃芽白加辣椒
4.紅油炒手:呢個我本身都唔鐘意食,所以無評價,不過好似有d細粒。
午市既食物冇咩特別,可能口水雞幾好,但冇得試,賣哂。
