Awfully Chocolate (尖沙咀)

After a not very pleasant dinner, my Fd and I decided to have dessert in K11 mall to compensate the unsettled feelings. There were so many options: Smile Yogurt, Glacio Gelato, Holly brown honey toast, etc....
Then we remembered that we haven't tried the chocolate ice cream from Awfully Chocolate, and so our mind is set

"HEI" Premium Dark Chocolate Ice Cream 
$45/scoop, $80/2scoops, $135/pintWe had a single scoop to share cos we thought it was quite pricy and we were still full.
The cocoa was super rich, although it's dark chocolate there's plenty of sweetness like caramel, and brings up good taste of a nutty note. The texture is smooth as silk, but doesn't melt as quickly as I thought it might, just as a soft cold dense truffle ball. The casing is good looking like a foreign Chinese takeaway box, which keeps the ice cream cooler for a longer time. (thumbs up)

It was raining that night, but we sat and ate the ice cream outside of the shop where theres roofed leisure area with benches.

Also, the were many free samples of Super Stacked Chocolate Cake HKD40/ 100g - A thicker, richer version of our All Chocolate cake with more bite, with different kinds of chocolate used for the six inner and outer fudge layerIts super moist and really can satisfy any chocolate crave

btw the mall is doing an exhibition in the gallery that has some cool and strange pieces

貓山皇 (元朗)

This is the time of the year where we should all eat more fruit, which this one special fruit is very popular in hot area, and it also has that "either you love it or you hate it" attitude.

Durian, is lovable for me.
as a fruit, it surely doesn't have much variety of desserts
im so glad this place opened, and have been dying to try it before the season is off
I know the owner Opened another branch in cwb, and another coming up in north point.
But my Fd n I was in the neighbourhood, this is the place marked as our dessert location.

we arrived at ten on a weekday, no que with many empty seats,
When first order at the table, but then told to order at the counter instead
so we were like huh?! Why we weren't told when we came in?
Anyways, we ordered 2 things

Dreamy Durian Ice cream$55
it served so quick, my camera wasn't ready for it LOLThe dry ice was suppose to burst out around the bowl, unlucky we didn't get the dramatic effectIf shoot from a different angle, it looks kinda dreamy doesn't it?
I paid extra $20 dollars for the effect!!! I WANT THAT EFFECT!So the toppings comes with: a pastry stick, almond flakes, mango popping bobaIt melts kinda fast, look at the drip
the ice cream is smooth and strong in durian flavour
in some sense I could feel some saltiness in this and it enhances the flavour 
they pastry was fine, almond was never my likings anyway, 
the popping mango juice doesn't match, makes it weird

Durian strudel $48Durian paste wrapped in filo pastry, topped with cinnamon crumbs, 
side with durian purée, I guess it's similar to what they serve in durian milkshake The fruits aside acted as refreshers
the pastry itself could not go wrong, but the cooked durian is so bad, turns a little sour
it lost its natural flavours, itS so terrible that you should remind me never have cooked durian everFor those who detest durian, but your Fd begs you to accompany, there's a few choice u could choose: mango smoothie, banana peanut butter milkshake, etc...

I would come back and only for a take away ice cream $28 and probably in cwb too.

Hope the staffs could give more directions in ordering, more tentative in giving tissues and water, and feel strange having cargo cabins as deco n as toilets as well

Paisano's Pizzeria (尖沙咀)

This is my first review, so I'm gonna go simple, n pick a place I go often.
Here goes

Paisano's : TST, opp to The One, easily found, walk by frequently
My friend and I, the two of us went to have dinner a couple nights ago, we waited 15 minutes to be seated. There are roughly about 50 seats, including the outdoor area at the back, it might be too hot to sit when the sun is still up
Ive been to other branches as well, but this one is already bigger in space comparatively.
All staffs there was not chinese and mainly English speaking. (Philippines perhaps)
Both of us don't have a big stomach, so we picked out a slice of pizza, ravioli and a salad to share.Caesar salad : Fresh lettuces, Raw onions, baked breadcrumbs, Caesar dressingLIKED. Generous amount, nice to have that spicy rawness of the onion kicks in.
it came in 10 minutesMy Fd don't like cheese very much, or I would have ordered the 4cheese!!!!
the thin crust is really nice, the pepperoni wasn't too salty. we added extra pepper with it
it came in 15mins, needed time to reheatTheres not just ravioli, but also few pieces of garlic bread for you to Dip the gorgeous spinach cheese sauce
the flaviur is quite filling, so it's better shared with more people haha
it came in 25mins, was quite some timeWill defo come back again, and for take aways too
 Sneak in a slice in to the cinema, it's not a bad idea

It serves alcoholic drinks too (aka apple cider)

星巴克咖啡 (沙田)

Starbucks always have new ideas when it comes to their menu but are they always so good?
I don't think so, so I always stick to my favourites hot chocolate and green tea frappuccino.😻
Yet I'm quite receptive to the new stuff, so I'll try them no matter they're good or bad.

and this time is Summerberry Pana Cotta frappuccino blended beverage ~$40clear layers of cream, Berry smoothie, and pudding
The pudding was quite nice smooth and milky🍮
the smoothie layer🍇 was not tarty as it should and it doesn't have the sweetness to flavour

I don't know what to went wrong
was it the barista didn't get the ingredients right or this product was just a no-go ?

went there on a weekday after 8, not so many people the noise level is acceptable
but the place close at 10, so couldn't stay long for chit chat

Pret A Manger (中環)

Change of weather, humid environment, its very easily to get sick.
I wasn't feeling too well, but not in need for medicine yet. Then I went in PRET to look for cookies at first, but "FLU FIGHTER" came into my eyes. The bright orange cold drink can cure flu? I seriously doubt that, but I'd like to try.

Flu Fighter $24Oh boy! Its not very good tasting.
I thought its carrot juice by sight, (good eye)
cos it is a blend of Carrot, Orange, Apple, Ginger
It's so strange, never have I had carrot juice before and I hate ginger in food & beverages.
well, it may not cure flu, but Im sure it is full of vitamins and dietary fibre.

oops, my mistake, never having this again.
