Famous for its baked bbq pork bun, Tim Ho Wan has attracted lots of visitors. Residing in the same district, I finally gave it a try in this renowned restaurant. As it opened at 10:00am, we arrived at 9:45. Expecting to queue up, only a few people were waiting surprisingly. Once we entered, we immediately ordered the most famous dish - baked bbq pork bun and other seven delicacies. For their tastes, most of their quality were quite good. Especially the bbq pork bun, the crispy and sweet crust matched well with the fresh bbq pork inside. Also the steamed shrimp dumplings having thin roll but big shrimp tasted good as well. However, the glutinous rice dumpling was a bit disappointing. It was salty that was not healthy to consumers. Overall the dimsums tasted good, yet their prices were high relatively.
Other Info. :
The decoration and atmosphere were not as usual as those in traditional chinese restaurants. Personally I think the environment was not comfortable because of limited seat space. Neither can I read newspapers nor stretch myself. This is disappointing.
