I remember reading previous posts that mentioned that the service here is really good even though they have gotten so famous now. I definitely didn't see that on the day I was here. The ladies were yelling at customers for not responding quick enough or not knowing what they were doing. I came here on a Saturday afternoon so I expected to wait. Didn't have to wait too long though and I was directed to squeezed into a seat at an already crowded table. Ordered the tomato and beef macroroni, lemon honey crispy bun and a salted lemon 7 up drink.
Thought the macroroni was pretty good. They use plenty of tomato (paste I think) in the soup and it was very tasty. I walked by the back and saw plenty of huge empty tomato cans. I was looking forward to the lemon honey crispy bun but thought the taste was a bit funky. Bun was definitely very crispy but not sure if the lemon and honey worked well together. I enjoyed the salted lemon 7 up (it was my first time trying it), but I was really thirsty afterwards. Good food for the value but not sure if I would endure the wait again.
