Went in here on a Sunday afternoon. The place was full, but we had made reservations. For $188 we were stuffed full with a wide range of savoury and sweet, hot and cold items from their afternoon tea buffet. Some of the highlights included deliciously gooey croque monsier sandwiches, tasty shark fin dumplings and gyoza. The selection of desserts was enormous; the green tea cake with peach, earl grey chocolate mousse cake and Mövenpick ice cream were really good. The most outstanding dessert

The most outstanding dessert was the tiramisu, deliciously airy and not too cloyingly sweet, better than the one at Tosca at Ritz Carlton. The only lackluster food there were the sushi, too much rice as is the usual at buffets, and the Portuguese egg tarts which were not warm. As for the service, no complaints indeed. My plates were always cleared quickly, and when I ordered tea, I didn't have to wait long as well.

If you're the kind of person that wakes up at 2:00 on Saturdays, you can eat your breakfast and dinner in one go here. Together with the fact that you're sitting in the chic, classy environment of the Mira hotel, it's a great deal for 188 HKD!
