It was around 9pm on a usual Friday but it was pretty full while we arrived, fortunately, there was 2 seats along the bar counter, due to Big Beauty already had her meal, and I just decided to have something light, so we accepted the area.I was a bit starving, however, it's quite late to have a proper meal... I was a bit starving, however, it's quite late to have a proper meal... I ordered steak salad (cooked medium) and a glass of red. Big Beauty ordered a glass of red too.
Not long later, the waiter brought us a salad, but another salad, the manager pointed out wrong table immediately. Big Beauty and me carried on our gal-talk with the wine, but I felt myself getting more hungry when smelling the food fragrant from the people next to us. Finally, my steak salad came. The steak cut into sliced, lettuce, cherry tomato are the main ingredients. Presentation was ok, steak pieces were mixed with the veggies, I prefer this rather than placed the sliced steaks on the veggie. Steak were juicy and tender, not in thick cut, we could use the fork to pick and eat.
Although that's a salad, the portion was big (for me). If Big Beauty didn't have some bites, I might not finished it. ummm, maybe that's Amercian restaurant, food portions are bigger than other cuisines.
