This place is quite deserted on Sunday which is nice. I can see how jammed it can be at lunch hours on a weekday. We tried all four sliders -- beef, crabcake, grilled cheese and tofu. This place is quite deserted on Sunday which is nice. I can see how jammed it can be at lunch hours on a weekday.

We tried all four sliders -- beef, crabcake, grilled cheese and tofu. You can't go wrong with either. For the kale salad, I personally like the grilled veggie one more than the beet. But of course, it comes down to your personal taste. The quinoa risotto is not bad, but something I'd prefer making at home. The kale mint juice blend is surprising fruity (green apple? I guess?) and not as grassy as I'd want it to be... (call me a weirdo).

The dessert Maleficient, a brownie on which you pour hot caramel to melt the thin slice of chocolate is quite interactive, but taste wise, it's just a brownie...

All in all, most stuff at Kale, you can easily throw together at home and pack it for lunch. But if you're not a lunch packer, Kale does it for you at a reasonable price.
