Came here with work colleagues as the coffe is supposed to be decent, and they have a lunch set. Artisan is a cosy cafe, offering a good choice of coffee. Our group of 6 had luckily phoned in ahead, because we were aware that they had limited seating, and the place fills up fast during the lunch rush. We got seated immediately.I ordered the All Day Breakfast Waffle set, which comes with a tea or coffee, and I was able to upgrade to a latte at a small extra charge. Barista and staff were friendly

Now just a word of warning-this place has a tiny little kitchen in the corner, where one chef prepares everything. It is by no means an efficient, professional kitchen...but it somehow works. During lunch,or possibly whenever multiple people order food at the same time, there will be a fair wait. Although my latte came within a few minutes, my waffle breakfast took what seemed like forever, but was actually about 45min. This is fine if you're with your friends for a long lunch, but please don't count on this place for speed if you have a 2 o'clock with your boss. You won't make it.
To their credit, the food delivered was delicious, and in generous quantity. Mushrooms were flavourful, eggs fluffy and waffle piping hot with a slight crunch. It was just a shame that I had not enough time to enjoy it!
My colleagues' choices of pasta carbonara and mushroom crepe were also tasty, so will be back another time when we are not in a hurry to get back to work.
