After we came back from Okinawa, we were dying to get a taste of Okinawa again. To our delight, we found this restaurant on Openrice with great reviews! First impression upon walking in is that it's rustic with traditional Okinawan decor. We were seated at the bar since we called fairly last minute. The food were very good on average.

Goya chanpuru (bitter melon with eggs) - the bitter melon were just like those in Okinawa so it was not too bitter. The eggs were cooked just right though the entire dish is a bit wet to my liking.
Peanut tofu - really interesting texture! The tofu is soft and sticky - a bit like mochi.
Stuffed chicken wing with roe - the outside is crispy while the inside is stuffed with spicy roe. The meat on the chicken wing maintained its own juice so it was very delicous.
Deep fried spicy pork knuckle - the pork knuckle was covered with bits of fried garlic. The pork knuckle itself is very chewy where parts of it are almost gelatin-like. I find myself popping the excess fried garlic on the plate into my mouth because it was so good.
Sea urchin wrapped in rudder fish -  what a creative dish! Both the rudder fish and the uni were fresh, and the pairing went well together with two different textures. The only thing is we found ourselves dropping the uni when we try to pick up the fish.

Overall, the atmosphere and food here are above average. We will definitely come back here whenever we get an itch for Okinawa.
