To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 哎呀,今次去食這家餐廳,真係有啲意外嘅驚喜添!🍽️ 首先,個竹笙狀元蝦餃啊,真係勁過癮,蝦仔又爽口,彈牙得嚟唔係過鹹,啖啖肉感,一啖入口就知斯文辣少女,個皮薄到透明咁滑,簡直係點心界嘅iPhone!再嚟個雪茄長春卷,見到佢咁錫靚咁金黃,一咬落去又香又鬆脆,雪茄名咁得意,卷住嗰陣咁辏屎又咁rich,只係個「招紙」有啲笨手笨腳,要搞半日先至食得落去~ 炸得啪啪響嘅黃金脆皮糯米豬,啲皮真係做到金黃許願,脆到不得了,層次感強,入面嘅糯米就黏稠得嚟好打得,啖啖肥美。至於燒鵝皇,件件鵝肉都咁有水準,肥而不膩,皮脆肉嫩,伴上啲沙醬,𠵱口真係食得出淋漓盡致,鮑魚伴花菇都做得好有層次,啲鮑魚肉質好好,花菇吸晒啲精華,味道重得黎細膩。飯後啲甜品亦都唔馬虎,個芝麻卷就正,入口即溶,馬蹄糕滑而不膩,杏仁茶暖笠笠又香滑,收尾得嚟又唔會太甜膩,簡直係完美演繹。👌 總括黎講,今日呢一餐啦,真係食得我心花怒放,下次聚會肯定有得諗!🥰
