有好朋友由台灣來,美食其中一站當然要吃香港四大發明之一:燒。味。不過灣仔區叉燒之神的堂食座位實在有點那個,所以我選了在利園一期的西苑酒家。是晚點了一個忘了名字的花膠湯、每人一隻蟶子、蟹肉炒茄子、叉燒例牌、半隻燒豬,還有一個啫啫生菜煲。叉燒肥瘦剛剛好,好味。蟶子食時覺得幾好,不過應該是飯後超口渴的罪魁禍首。燒豬半隻:OK事實上我們只有三女一男,其中沒有大胃王,男的食量更像做過紮胃手術,所以點這個是有點點DD少少過份。吃法像片皮鴨,上菜前師傅已經將脆卜卜的皮工整地片晒出來,配包包同醮乳豬醬一齊食,脂肪及豬肉則另外吃。我個人比較喜歡乳豬皮連有一點脂肪,這個矜貴的吃法呢,OK囉,但$600/半隻就無意再食多次。全晚最清淡的蟹肉燒茄子,簡直是我的沙漠清泉。而且真的有蟹肉,吃得好開心。啫啫生菜煲。因為出名所以點的,啫啫味很濃但無驚喜。以味道來說是在水準以上,不過啊,我啊,晚上回家真的有喝了一公升以上的水!女仔喎!!!要知道女仔晚上喝這麼多水和自我毀容是無分別的啊!!!!我是真的口渴到爆炸才不停灌水啊~~~!!!第二朝,因為在味精加狂灌水的化學作用下,自然成了浮屍面。 continue reading

之前來過,食左一次生炒糯米飯,十分回味,今次再來,都係為左佢有咬口,雖是糯米卻粒粒分明,又不失其獨有香氣,醬油剛剛好沾上每一粒飯,加上臘腸既甜味,完全係一個完美既演繹.收得百幾蚊,換來頂尖既質素.如果能夠加上大量既蔥,我會更爽歪歪 continue reading

    已食過幾次西苑, 其實覺得佢D小菜一般, 但今次叫左平時好少叫嘅焗魚腸, 之前都喺其他地方食過焗得好味嘅魚腸, 但就好少可見到焗到好似個蛋糕咁靚的, 有少少燶邊, 食落甘香又香脆。除左魚腸外, 我覺得佢嘅甜點先係亮點, 佢個脆麻花唔太甜,但好脆. 雖然我唔喜愛杏仁製品, 但佢個杏汁包都好好味, 個包好鬆軟, 另外, 馬拉糕令我個揀飲擇食咀刁小契女食到停唔到口, 下次剩係黎食甜品都幾好^^ continue reading

預早幾天致電西苑酒家訂了一張四人枱,當日準時十二時左右到場,但帶位小姐告知餐枱正在安排當中。我們選擇在外等候,不知不覺間已等了十五至二十分鐘,入內再問帶位小姐,答案卻跟之前有少許差別 - 原來訂枱只代表「優先處理」,但實際上跟walk in 並未有太大分別 (似乎跟航空公司overbook 機位有點相似)。但眼見酒家入口位置還有一張四人和一張六人枱仍是空置,我們忍不住順帶追問帶位小姐為何有枱但不給等候人仕。帶位小姐保持了數分鐘的沉寂,最終告訴我們這些客人訂枱時經已點菜,莫非點了菜但遲到一、兩小時也空著枱等嗎?再等多了十餘分鐘之後,場面開始變得群情凶湧,更多不滿的食客不停追問,帶位小姐最初還支吾以對,說人客到了,只是走開了吧,但最後她索性在裡頭的工作室躲起來,此實在是明智之舉!明白很多舊式酒樓會留枱給熟客,但現今社會文化和風氣經已改變。倘若訂了座,客人是有理由地期望所訂的時段已經有餐枱為他們準備好。如果之前的食客遲了走,等待十數分鐘是可以接受的,但如果當walk in 般對待,多等半個至一個小時則實在難以接受。 continue reading

下午時間在銅鑼灣辦點事,午餐在西苑用膳。因早餐飽肚感仍在,只是隨便點了數款點心作罷。黄沙豬膶燒賣:黄沙豬膶無食到,燒賣無乜特別。叉燒腸:腸粉皮挺滑,但叉燒肉香腍度不足,叉燒真是此店的招牌菜?!雪影杏汁餐飽:外皮脆口,飽身香軟,係幾好食嘅!XO醬蒸鳳爪:雖XO醬味道唔突出,但鳳爪肉質腍身好吃。蒸排骨:帶點肥的排骨夠腍夠香口。南瓜芋絲夾:無食到。 continue reading
