是清鮮不過酸的蕃茄湯,並加入了香草作調味
拼湊出來的效果十分理想
湯身不算濃稠也絕不稀淡

即點即做,來碟還是熱辣辣的
六大隻的蝦肉,配以香料,香蒜和橄欖油
先說蝦本身,入口爽口彈牙,吃得出的新鮮
配以的醬料是極度的惹味,真是吃得滋味
想一想,應該是我們每次來必點的款式

蜆經輕輕的炒香,再配以如蒽,香蒜等
一碟約有十隻,絕沒有偷工減料
最重要是質素不俗,蜆肉多汁爽口,配以惹味的配料,實在令人滿足

Tortilla是傳統西班牙煎餅
主要材料是麵粉加上薯仔,另可加各款配料作餡
煎成圓圓一塊的,也挺厚身
這裡提供數款餡料選擇,包括肉腸菠菜,蘑菇黑椒和蟹肉
最愛的當然是蟹肉那款
外層煎的甘金帶微微脆口
入口吃到片片薯肉,也吃到絲絲的蟹肉
味道甜美之餘又帶着一點點蟹肉的鮮香

最後送上甜品
提起西班牙甜品,大家也許會想起西班牙薯條Chocolateria San Churro
還記得以前旺角肥姐鄰店也是賣西班牙薯條的,結果還是輸給大生腸,慘敗而回
老實說,對這款甜品不太着迷,不過這裡即時炸起的又卻令人十分回味
入口不乾身,甚有口感
不要忘記蘸上附設的朱古力醬,味道香濃,實在十分匹配!

來到此刻,就算以我們較大的胃納來說,也會有飽肚感了
埋單結賬,只是百一元,就買到一個歡愉的中午時段!

還記得聖誕期間去到灣仔,吃過人氣的22 Ships之新派Tapas
吃得出質素真的不俗,也感受到大廚的用心
不過,怎說也好,還是喜歡傳統多一點

地點:位於中環 SOHO 區荷李活道,各位女士除非你穿著”健步如飛”鞋,否則請乖乖乘搭中環的扶手電梯上去吧。

環境:中環店舖面不大和只設 Bar Table,應該開業時跟店名一樣,主打 Happy Hour 飲酒的,估計 Lunch/Dinner 應是較後期才追上成為生意主要業務。Bar Table 是放酒的,當然窄得很!小心你大手一揮把鄰坐的 Sangria 潑到人家身上呢!整體環境不錯,前排近門口位置面對 Open Kitchen,很有風格。但要留意最入的坐位只是於面壁,要是你想看廚師們煎炒煮炸的話請預先訂位哦! 不要帶太多東西,因為店裡沒有地放給你放袋子的…

價錢:以這個份量來說,其實算是這區很抵食。晚餐 A la carte menu 大部份都是 $68/$78, 女士們很大機會一碟就夠了。午餐的話 $100 包括任選Tapas 兩碟, 凍湯一碗,再加是日甜品。可算是超值!Sangria $75/杯 或 $150/Jar, 大家都不防試試。要注意 Lunch Menu 不包 Cold Cut (所有 Iberico) 及 Paella。

服務:我很麻煩,通常遇到態度不好的待應我會毫不比面離店抗議。這店待應們常好禮貌。全部員工都懂英語和法語。手腳快又不會 Disturbing,所以各位可以放心用餐。客人人鬼各佔一半,非常 multicultural, 如果要親切感的話可以找著黑衫的 Manager,她是全場唯一一個會說廣東話的。

食物:即叫即做,全程你都看得見聞得到。我們三人 Share 六碟 Tapas,比晚餐還豐富呢! 這次我們點了:

Gazpacho (西班牙蕃茄冷湯) - 非常香的鮮蕃茄和香草味,口感亦恰到好處,不濃不淡有 Texture。

Squid a la Plancha (香草快炒小魷魚) - 好鮮味的魷魚,既彈牙又香口。加上鮮檸檬汁帶出食物原來的味道,大美味啦!

Lamb with Tomato & Spices (香草蕃茄烤羊柳) - 香軟滑溜的羊肉加上香草蕃茄簡直是絕配!串燒五成熟完全沒有羶’味,激讚!

Pisto with Duck Egg (香草燉蔬菜+荷包鴨蛋) - 很香的香草味!有一點像不太辣的印度咖哩香料。我比較喜歡荷包鴨蛋,半生熟,彈牙的口感加上咸蛋香氣,簡直想一試再試!

Grilled Chicken (脆香燒雞) - 皮脆肉滑,無骨啖啖肉!食肉獸必選!

Tuna Tartare (吞拿魚塔塔) - 很軟滑的鮪魚!起初以為廚師會加人牛油果填滿塔塔,但居然貨真價實,全是加了香草檸檬汁的新鮮吞拿魚!沒有肉根,入口即溶,沒有魚腥,清香撲鼻!加上出爐多士,你還等甚麼?

Crab Tortilla (蟹肉薯餅) - 很香的蟹和薯仔味,但略嫌太少蟹和蛋。所以吃起來比較鬆散。

Chocolateria San Churro (西班牙冬甩) - 很香,比英國和澳洲的硬。相信是西班牙Style。

Sangria (西班牙甜酒) - 要另外 Order。但一個完美的西班牙午餐怎能沒有它呢? 酒味較重,相信是因為有著濃厚的酒吧背景吧!

Budget 許可的話,去試試中環的西班牙餐吧!

Only 2 girls this time so we didn't order a lot.

The one on the left upper corner is "Crispy Pork Belly with Quince Aioli", this is actually recommended by the manager. The pork belly has been slowly roasted and dressed by quince garlic mayonnaise. If you like pork belly in regular Cantoese restaurants, you will definitely like this dish as well. They are similar - but I would say the Chinese version gives extra crunchiness of the skin. Anyway, who doesn't love pork belly?
The portion is a little too much for 2 girls since it is still quite a fatty dish.

In the middle, the darker pieces of meat is "Braised Beef Cheek" and the paste underneath is pea puree. The meat is so tender it was literally melted in my mouth! Serving with Pedro Ximenez reduction, it does give this dish a very sweet - almostly honeyed flavour.

This sauteed prawns with spicy sauce has a mild heat that is not overwhelming, prawns are fresh and the presentation is awesome - it is served on a sizzling hot pan. This is my favourite dish!

Besides all the filling meaty dishes, we also ordered the fig salad which is not on a regular menu. It is very refreshing with the promegrante molasses, like a concentrated promegrante juice and it provides a good balance with the bitter greens.

All in all, I always enjoy Tapas Bar and Tapeo is one of my favourites in Hong Kong. I'd suggest to come with a bigger group of friends so you can try more!

友人到達後,我們的晚餐正式開始。這裡的sangria 淡而無味,似在喝果汁,不能喝酒的可以一試。然後也點了一支西班牙紅洒,是支Reserva,店員說是lady’s wine,入口果然是香甜,其花名非常合切。用來配紅酒的,少不了一客Iberico ham, 36 months.

Iberican pig是西班牙一種特別的黑豬,由於它吃橡果,所以肉質特別名貴好吃,在小妹家附近就有一家以賣iberico ham為主的店子,可見它的價值。入口鹹香互不爭位,各有各的生存空間,而且肥膏不算誇張,我們邊喝酒邊吃是最好不過的!

聞說這裡的tortilla是不可以miss的小吃,於是我們點了客chorizo & spanish tortilla

我們平時吃甜品多數吃冰凍的,所以吃熱的,甚至是炸的甜品感覺很有趣。小妹都很喜歡吃churros,人家說是條狀的donut,我就覺得比donut更好吃,濃郁的朱古力醬也加添了美味的層次!

很喜歡這種casual dining的氣氛,但就適合少人的聚會,因為bar枱的設計叫細group gathering更cozy!

Gambas Pil Pil - 這個應該是西班牙文的叫法吧? 這是用鐵板上菜的橄欖油蒜片大蝦, 一黎就聽到炸炸聲, 我怕佢炸得太耐會老, 所以立即處理. 結果, 呢一味都好好食~

Crispy Pork Belly with Quince Aioli - 我就覺得呢個菜係一般, 豬腩肉太多肥膏唔多適合女士. 食一舊就已經好漏.

Braised beef cheek 慢煮牛面頰 - 係我最唔留意的一味菜, 但係原來佢先係最好味, 清清地, 忟到D牛腩好淋, 青豆蓉都好好食! 必食!

Churros with chocolate 西班牙油炸鬼配朱古力醬 - 我未食就知佢一定係好好食, 即炸熱辣辣, 上面灑左糖同埋肉桂粉, 點朱古力醬黎食! 好好味呀! (個餐包甜品)

Patatas Bravas: 原來係好多one bite size的炸薯仔. 薯仔炸得幾好, 紅色醬有浸smoke bacon 的味. 兩個人分食完已經飽左一半.

埋單見有 $ 1 Charity donation, 唔知佢捐卑邊個, 但即刻令我諗起之前睇過篇鬧爆左間餐廳冇啦啦收佢一蚊donation的食評, 食評中仲計埋其實加埋一實收donation $1.1. 笑左.

總結: 間餐廳的氣氛其實好好, d staff 全部都好開心. 可惜野食唔係特別好. 唔知香港仲有幾多tapas bar, 如果冇乜可能想食tapas時都會返黎.

I want to just start out by saying that I've never been to/ near Spain, and that if you asked me to imagine Spanish food, I'd probably just think of Mexican food. Tortilla:"Tortilla" means "omelet" in Spain, which I'll admit I didn't know (I'm from Texas, where "tortilla" has but one meaning, and it ain't "omelet"). This I thought wasn't bad, but a little on the dry and bland side. Hot sauce is just what this puppy needed, and didn't have. B-

Blood sausage with shrimp and quail egg: Blood sausage is precisely the sort of thing that I would never order if I were on my own. However, having ordered and eaten it, I quite liked it. I found myself putting the blood sausage on the pan con tomate and eating it like a blood sausage pizza... amazing. The sausage came with grilled shrimp and fried quail eggs on top: the shrimp were overdone, but not terribly so, and the quail egg was "meh" compared to its hype (quails!!). Overall, the dish was worth purchasing. A-

Sherry: Oof, how does something that's only 15% alcohol taste like it's hard liquor? We had half a bottle of sherry, and it was a nice accompaniment to the food, if a little sharp.

Overall, the food was great. Our server was polite, informative (I asked for recommendations), and attentive. Comparing this to our other upscale tapas dining experience (Fofo by El Willy), I'll say that it seemed more authentic here, but there were fewer dishes that knocked my socks off. Overall: A-

其實只是buffet的風乾火腿質素不夠好,因為第二次在西班牙餐廳吃,那次味道很好,改觀了不少。
不過今次我沒有點風乾火腿,不是說這裡的不好,只是還有更多更吸引的菜色,又很少吃Tapas,所以貪新鮮的我還是點其他吧。

這個湯賣相很鮮艷,望著令人食慾大增!不是人人都喜愛凍湯,覺得喝湯怎能喝凍的,而我就超愛那種凍凍的酸酸的味道。
西班牙凍湯Gazpacho,其實就是蕃茄辣椒湯蒜蓉混合的湯,味道十分清新,這湯很濃稠,當中包含了蕃茄粒,很有口感;辣椒在清新中增添了些刺激,很好味!

喝完凍湯後,Tapas來了,十分期待

點了Tuna tartar,賣相十分精美,想必味道很好,急不及待要試了。
Tuna十分新鮮肥美,與cheese和多士一同進食更有口感,tuna混合了capers,咸咸的很香口;
脆硬的多士,軟綿綿的Tuna和滑溜的cheese,這個配合多完美呢。
味道好之餘,份量也不少,不要以為小碟就真的很小,tuna十分的多,充滿了油脂,啖啖肉的感覺真的很爽呢。

另一Tapas是Braised beef cheek,單看賣相就知道吸引呢? 經理說這道菜頗受歡迎的,更加非試不可!
牛肉面頰用了青豆蓉來襯托,慢煮的牛肉面頰不但軟腍腍,而且保留了牛肉的味道;不知道廚師是怎樣煮呢,這道菜充滿了膠質,叫女孩怎能抗拒。醬汁是pedro zimenez,與牛肉味混在一起,甜甜的很好吃。吃完後,我也覺得非試不可呢。

吃完兩碟肉後,我肚子快將爆炸了,還有甜品未吃,爆都不管了,吃了再算。
Churros,是西班牙十分common的食物,今次來到Tapeo,Churros成為我的飯後甜品
麵團炸完後,撇上了糖和玉桂粉,甜甜的充滿了玉桂香,真的很吸引呢;更吸引的是旁邊的朱古力醬,不太甜又充滿了朱古力香,用來沾Churros簡直一流

吃後感: 對Tapeo有讚無彈,味道非常好、用料新鮮、環境輕鬆,店員很親切、值點票價!餐廳只有24個位,先訂座比較就可以確保一定有位,否則等上半天,凍湯都由凍變熱了。
$100任選兩款Tapas只限星期一至五,但吃飯時間只有1小時,不能慢慢的享受,假日又沒有這個優惠,有點可惜。
下次要再來試試其他Tapas。

LUNCH時間同同事第一次黎食~~幸好我地早到唔洗等位~不過唯一唔好處就係全部BAR台...幾個人一齊想傾下計就冇咁方便~全間鋪用英文溝通,好有外國FEEL~LUNCH都算幾抵食, MENU上面任揀2款$100,再送沙律同甜品~個甜品都係睇住佢即刻炸, 熱熱地,好好食~~最開心就係可以坐係BAR台側邊,睇住佢D食物新鮮即刻整~D蝦好鮮甜好新鮮,再加埋佢個汁真係好正~酸酸甜甜~好開胃~本人覺得呢個唔係唔好食,不過略為太重口味~~食完好口乾~

Since arriving in Hong Kong in May we've been trying to stumble across a Spanish restaurant, but with no such luck, so out came the Open Rice app and a quick search revealed this little gem with lots of positive results, and the highlight for me was an open kitchen! I love watching chef's work their magic and creating art on a plate.

If you are a person who understands and appreciates Spanish food then you will clearly understand that Spanish food isn't about colourful presentation or trying to show off, its all about simplicity and bold flavours, and boy were we in for a treat!

When we arrived at the restaurant the place was already lively and the smell of food surrounded us with warmth. We ordered drinks whilst we waited for seats and to our luck when space became available we were seated right in front of the head chef! (The best seats in the house in my eyes.)

Between the 2 of us we ordered 7 dishes (we were feeling particularly greedy and to be honest 6 would have been enough), and they were:

Olives - Nicest tasting olives we've had in H.K so far, hint of garlic really gives it a nice kick.

Cold Meat Platter - A little taster of all 5 cold meats on offer and each one had its own little charm! I recommend it, if you are stuck for which one to get, why not get them all!

Patatas Bravas (Potatoe) - Fried potatoe with what I believe to be paprika and a dipping sauce that had a very slight hint of heat to tingle your pallet. A simple dish, but had you wanting more!

Tuna Tartar - When the dish arrived I thought it had tomatoes mixed in, but to my surprise it was actually all finely chopped tuna! I would say this is a fusion dish to satisfy the Oriental market, and for me it hit the right spot because I love Sushi as well. It might not be a dish for everyone, but we enjoyed it, and the lightly toasted bread discs complimented the tuna very well.

Clams, Ham and Sherry - When the dish arrives with you it might give you the illusion the flavours might be quite light, but boy when you put it into your mouth the flavours just run at you! The clams were fresh and the ham packed a flavoursome punch, and the mellow taste of Sherry helps to fuse it together.

Chorizo and tomatoes - I've always loved the taste of Chorizo, in my eyes its the Spanish equivelent to our preserved sausage (lap cheung). Strong bold flavours, so not for people who like bland "clear" foods.

Beef cheek - I've saved the besh dish til last. This was my favourite dish of the night! The beef cheek was cooked to perfection, the beef is cooked until it is quite soft, but yet it looses none of the flavours, and it sits on a bed of, smooth as silk, pea mash. At first I thought this might be an odd combination but after the first taste you just end up wanting more!

To top it all off for desert we ordered the Churros with chocolate. Churros is very similar to a dohnut, the essential difference is that it is straight and not round. The cooking process is the same, however when I took the first bite after dipping it into the rich chocolate sauce it brought back memories of when I had this the first time in Paris many years ago. Some people may call it bland and just a dohnut with chocolate sauce, but all I would say is form your own opinions after you've tasted it.

The service overall was great, it wasn't difficult to get hold of waiting staff and the head chef was always happy to chat with you and tell you more about the wonderful dishes he makes and a little history about each dish. A perfect night out and now listed as one of my favourite places to dine in Hong Kong.

The total bill for both of us was $814 including service and drinks. Some will say its expensive for 2 people, but to witness the joy of seeing how your food is prepared and cooked, and flavours that entertain your pallet for hours after your meal, I can safely say its worth it.

Tapeo, you've just gained another fan!

Pork belly with Aioli sauce:很贊!不大的兩片肉,肥瘦相間,外加膠質的外皮。與港式燒腩相比,這絕對是另一種美。它不是將一大塊肉烤制完成后切成一片一片,而是切片后再烤。所以不但是膠質的外皮很鬆脆,肉的正反兩面都很甘香。瘦肉微焦,很有嚼勁;肥脂部份油份已經烤掉不少,吃起來不肥腻,和瘦肉一起,肉與脂真是絕配,外加脆皮,口感更加分明又豐富。配的aioli sauce也好味,個人感覺不是可有可無的,sauce微甜,很清爽的口感,配重味的肉真是很合適。

Crab Tortilla:這個絕對是抵食之選,吃一個足夠飽肚,我是硬撐才吃完。味道就一般了一點,可能是我不太喜歡potato的緣故。crab是有,但沒太多味道,既沒有河蟹的鮮美,也沒有海蟹的清甜。potato也比較味淡,cheese味也基本吃不出來。

Churros & chocolate:重口味的甜食,適合甜魔;chocolate sauce很美味,味道甘醇濃郁,很香甜。但比較甜膩了一點,對味覺和腸胃負擔較大,呵呵!

總的來說,是不錯的lunch選擇。tapas還有不少選擇,相信選出個人喜歡的2款絕非難事,下次有機會再來試試其他。環境不算寬敞,都是吧台,座位也比較逼迫。但氛圍輕鬆,半開放廚房給人親切感,服務態度也和藹親切。

今天走过,没订位。所以12:00 已经来到门口。我是第一个客人。真好彩。15min later, walkin 的鬼佬已经没位啦!!叫的是$100 set lunch。 没有拍照。因为太肚饿啦。 Gazpacho - 冻冻的。蛮清甜。酸味可以轻点。(4/5) Gambas Pil Pil - 分量不错, 又香口。加面包 perfect!! (4.5/5) Crispy Pork Belly with Quince Aioli - 这个有点失败。太干太硬。味道都不足。 (2/5) Octopus with Capers and Paprika - 一句,excellant!!! Stopped by Tapeo to curb that tapas craving - and the lunch set is thoroughly worth it. Between the two of us, we settled for 4 tapas, grilled prawns, beef cheek, crispy pork and chorizo and tomatoes, about half way through the meal, we added an order of bread and olive oil- Initially, we had thought that 4 tapas might leave us with room to spare, yet the portions were hearty and the food was delicious. Between the two of us, we settled for 4 tapas, grilled prawns, beef cheek, crispy pork and chorizo and tomatoes, about half way through the meal, we added an order of bread and olive oil- Initially, we had thought that 4 tapas might leave us with room to spare, yet the portions were hearty and the food was delicious. The beef cheek with pea puree with light, yet flavorful. the meat was tender and i absolutely enjoyed the dish, one of my favorites for the day. The crispy pork was little to fatty for my liking, but the aioili on the side helped take the oily taste down a notch, and there was a touch of sweetness, balancing the salty porky flavor. Though the flavor of the chorizo wasn't the best I've had, the tomatoes were a great compliment to the dish.

Overall, lunch was great at 100 per person, the churros at the end were made fresh, but a bit too doughy. The setting is great, and very intimate with bar stools, I can definitely see myself coming back to sample more of their tapas, especially some of the specials i spotted written on the board.
