之前聽人講生記唔錯,有日同朋友們行過,想 walk in 去食,點知話 full booking,今次終於約齊人,預早打電話去預約,可以試到啦! 鹽焗雞好滑,有雞味,外皮好香脆,唔錯,但美中不足係待應喺差唔多食完嗰陣先上醬料,夾埋醬料食,味道係更上一層。蜆芥鯪魚球魚肉陣牙,食到陳皮味,無魚腥味,夾埋蜆芥醬,好鮮好香。椒鹽鮮魷係薄粉嗰種,我鍾意,無咁油膩,同埋魷魚都夠爽脆。小炒皇有蒜芯、蝦乾、腰果同榨菜,加埋辣椒炒,好香好惹味,送飯一流。梅菜扣肉係瘦嗰種,所以啲肉食落就會乾啲硬啲,唔夠油香同鬆化,梅菜應該加咗好多糖去煮,所以食落都幾甜。雙菇扒時蔬啲冬菇同草菇都夠爽口,好味,生焯得剛剛好,好爽脆,但可惜打獻嘅油落得多咗啲,食得有啲膩。飯後送咗白糖糕,比較特別,出面酒樓一般都係送糖水或生果。白糖糕味道偏酸,質地都彈牙,但唔夠軟滑,不過送嘅無所謂啦! 呢餐飯果然無失望,可以加入去我個 encore list!

雙菇扒時蔬啲冬菇同草菇都夠爽口,好味,生焯得剛剛好,好爽脆,但可惜打獻嘅油落得多咗啲,食得有啲膩。

飯後送咗白糖糕,比較特別,出面酒樓一般都係送糖水或生果。白糖糕味道偏酸,質地都彈牙,但唔夠軟滑,不過送嘅無所謂啦!

以前是有口碑的,小炒有🔥氣,海鮮都出名!近年已經少去,因為難訂枱,兼且出名[好寸]。今天晚上是同事升級請食飯,他要一個月前訂座!他重覆提醒食6點,要8點交枱!我們準時到達,點了以下:
梅菜肉餅,土尢肉餅,2款,有家常小菜風味,好送飯

鹽焗雞,
,肉質頗滑,出色之作
藕餅,普通,比較油
咖哩牛腩,重辣,少牛腩,不好吃
炒菜,味道普通
豬潤九杞,豬潤很大片,爽囗,鮮嫩,九杞比較少,

要加餸都有困難,(當時只是7點鐘),只能點侍應推薦的,是,九菜炒旦!!味道非常非常平淡!

奉送的甜品是白糖糕,不好吃,
頗大舊的,但沒有分派碟去盛,只派牙籖去取食!

最後一定要提是:上菜時是幾個侍應四方八面的一斉把菜式放上枱😨😨怕怕!
吃飯期間,剛吃完的餸菜,馬上便被收走,尚有幾片在碟內的,便自動將吃剩的,倒在其他餸內,不是換細碟!😨😨😨

年尾又係朋友家庭gathering 忙碌日子,每個禮拜都唸下食咩好🤔朋友就介紹左去灣仔生記。響港島工作居住咁多年我都未聽過呢間老字號,處於灣仔舊樓心唸都係一般小菜貨色,上樓入到餐廳都算乾淨企理。八點好肚餓朋友先搶著點招牌鹽焗雞、生炒骨,我點了九杞豬潤 、炸云吞...全部餸菜色味俱全,有上等質素。另外,服務員態度很好,我們整晩食得舒服自在,又無人多嘈吵聲,係家庭朋友聚會好地方,之後我一個禮拜已再來encore,值得再來。

今日行灣仔食晚飯,人一世物一世試下間好野(以為),話曬都係米芝連食店~生記位置係商業大厦1及2樓,侍應安排左2樓雅座~員工有禮及貼心,叫左沙畺珍肝,超正,如果多D肝會好D,因為有腎兩溝另外叫左豬潤現菜,生炒骨及泥猛粥、鹽焗鸡等。猪潤唔熟及酒味太重,生炒骨普通冇肉味,粥冇鱼味及有肉丸2粒唔明?鹽焗鸡完全唔得~似擺酒雞真係米芝連?失望~

Comfort food for the unadventurous - pre-ordered porridge with nei-mang fish, half a salt-baked chicken,  pig's liver with gau-gei leaves all as good as previous visits, delicious, tender, flavoursome.  The only downside was the portion size of the recommended bitter melon and beancurd sheet with fried garoupa filet - it was HUGE!  The taste was great even though the texture of the fish was not as smooth as a smaller specimen simply steamed,  we couldn't let any go to waste and boy were we stuff

今晚特地到灣仔覓食,預先致電生記訂了座位。一出地鐵站便到對面馬路尋找位置,原來此店隱藏在大厦一樓,到六點才在地下豎立招牌,否則很難察覺所在。由於聞名已久,便點了此店的招牌菜。先來個是日例湯---青紅蘿蔔煲唐排,真是正宗老火湯,有自家湯水的滋味。再來個家鄉手磨蓮藕餅,肉香彈牙,更有蓮藕粒粒爽脆的口感,一碟十件,確實份量十足。侍應送上菠蘿生炒骨,酸甜味道適中,不太油膩,而且肉嫩香脆,值得一試。到此店必定要點鹽焗雞,皮薄無油脂,肉嫩不“鞋”口,充滿雞味,果然是招牌菜式。另一款必吃菜式就是上湯枸杞浸黃沙豬潤,豬潤外脆內腍,百吃不厭。最後再吃甜品白糖糕,尋回童年回憶,確是一頓美好的晚餐。

中餐中近期除了唐宮,我都十分喜歡生記。生記是典型的中式食肆格局,坐滿食客時有點嘈吵,還好今晚不滿座。入座時出名的雞和蓮藕餅已經售罄了。我來其實是為了紅燒豆腐,怎料點菜時連這個都售罄了,晴天霹靂。我們點了家常的鹹蛋蒸肉餅,魚香茄子煲,蔥爆牛肉和乾燒伊麵。蔥爆牛肉的牛肉嫩滑,蔥亦香,不過牛肉的份量頗少。鹹蛋蒸肉餅是最經典的一種,加上少少的豉油和蔥,味道不濃不淡,送飯最好。魚香茄子煲的茄子頗硬,不是我杯茶,不過魚香的味道不錯。乾燒伊麵麵身乾爽不油膩,味道不會過濃,還有點點的菇香,可以一試。飯後甜品的白糖糕都是我所期待的,微甜不膩,最佳的飯後甜品。
