經table map book 枱. 餐廳不算太大只有一個香港侍應生,其餘都是印度人. 我們不是團購的所以侍應生就換了一個正常餐牌給我們. 每款菜式都只是幾十元但份量不算很大所以我們點了三款主菜試試,另外還叫了三款印度烤簿餅.Fish Tikka鐵板上,熱滕滕的端上.魚肉夠滑不會燒得太乾,還有椰菜和生洋葱伴碟,加少許檸汁然後點些微酸白色的芝士醬一起吃,開胃惹味. 還有我非常喜愛而且每次吃印度菜必點的濃濃mango Lassi,好開心! 正中的mango Lassi是很甜的這杯我覺得適中亦可解辣.看之前食評說咖喱羊肉很羶所以才想試試,但我就不太覺得羶所以有點兒失望,但是肉質都幾嫩滑. 牛油烤餅很香牛油味煙煙韌韌好味.胡椒餅只是HKD4,很香脆.鑊仔燴雞還以為是鑊仔上,雞肉ok加入青椒,彊絲和洋葱雖然不是鑊仔上仍感覺到它的鑊仔味. 最後上的蒜蓉烤薄餅老公較喜愛之前的牛油烤餅,我就覺得這個也不錯,很香,獨立食不點咖喱更好更能食到它的蒜香味.最後老公還點了一杯有些印度香草味的傳統印度奶茶. 因我們之前飲過星加坡用媡奶沖勁好味的印度拉茶,他以為這個是同一樣東東,結果令他非常失望根

Fish Tikka鐵板上,熱滕滕的端上.魚肉夠滑不會燒得太乾,還有椰菜和生洋葱伴碟,加少許檸汁然後點些微酸白色的芝士醬一起吃,開胃惹味.
還有我非常喜愛而且每次吃印度菜必點的濃濃mango Lassi,好開心!
正中的mango Lassi是很甜的這杯我覺得適中亦可解辣.

最後上的蒜蓉烤薄餅老公較喜愛之前的牛油烤餅,我就覺得這個也不錯,很香,獨立食不點咖喱更好更能食到它的蒜香味.

最後老公還點了一杯有些印度香草味的傳統印度奶茶. 因我們之前飲過星加坡用媡奶沖勁好味的印度拉茶,他以為這個是同一樣東東,結果令他非常失望根本就是另外一回事...

Went here with a 5-course meal on groupon with my wife. Place was very busy but managed to get a seat quickly. The place is tiny but GREAT indian food. I'd put it up there with Tandoor or Bombay Dreams as the top Indian food i've had in HK. Only issue I had is that its far from me but its a walk from Austin Rd MTR....a walk away from the 970 bus stop that I used to get to Kowloon side from Western Dist.Food - We had Prawn curry, chicken tikka, Samosa chat and kashimiri naan and onion culcha.

Food - We had Prawn curry, chicken tikka, Samosa chat and kashimiri naan and onion culcha. The curries and tikka were creamy with awesome sauce that I wished I could buy a bottle of to take home (at risk of offending people in movie theater we Did end up taking home all the left overs). Food was great quality (I would have been content with just the Kashmiri Naan and the prawn curry sauce!) but the value is great as prices were generally under HKD 100. Apps were HKD40 or so. And best of all King Fisher beer only HKD 22!
Bottom line we had a 5 course meal and I loved it all (the cold app with peas and chicken was our least favorite)

As i was smelling all the food, and before I was even served, I was already looking forward to coming back with some friends to have beers and good food.

今次的團購,是印度廚房的二人餐,聲稱可享五道正宗印度菜,有超過八十款美食選擇,地點為油麻地的文尉街。星期六晚七點來到,餐廳座位半滿,只有一位侍應是香港人,其餘都是印度人,當中有的略懂廣東話。侍應安排坐在二人檯,桌子很細小,坐下來也略嫌擠迫。然後侍應便遞上團購的餐牌,由小食到主菜,總共有約三十款菜式,正價餐牌上的八十多款菜式當然不能任君選擇。我們選擇的菜式如下:小食有咖哩什菜角、香料胡椒餅;烤餅要了提子芝士烤餅、烘薯烤餅;咖哩有濃汁咖哩魚、香料椰菜薯球;還有印度香料飯和印度串燒雞,飲品是印度奶茶和芒果乳酪特飲。先到的是小食。咖哩什菜角只有一隻,而非正價的兩隻。咖哩什菜角的餡,眼見有薯仔和青豆,外皮炸得金黃鬆脆,內餡咖哩香濃,辣度適中,過癮可口。香料胡椒餅很薄脆,上面灑上蕃茄粒、洋蔥粒、蔥和芫茜,也有不少胡椒粉,入口香脆,胡椒味重但偏鹹,蔬菜粒令口感爽脆清新。然後來的是是印度串燒雞,只有兩件,也是正價份量的一半。雞球是串起來燒熟,表面有少許焦黑,放在圓型的鐵板上,伴以椰菜絲、洋蔥絲、檸檬上檯,吃起來雞肉很嫩滑,味道微辣,配合檸檬汁非常惹味。印度香料飯,印度米的形狀修長,質地比較硬,沒有香港

印度香料飯,印度米的形狀修長,質地比較硬,沒有香港人吃慣泰個米的黏性,米粒很乾身,入口有淡淡的香料味,雖然不能分辨是甚麼香料。

然後來了兩個的骰的咖哩主菜,魚的份量很少,只有兩三小塊,椰菜和薯仔的份量相對很多,兩碟主菜的顏色相近,咖哩味道相約,香辣兼備,但濃汁咖哩魚多了一種香草味道,這個味道不太自然,不太合個人口味。

烤餅最後送上來,提子芝士烤餅夾著的是橙色的椰絲,卻不見提子和芝士,當然也沒有提子和芝士味道,烤餅很乾,蘸上咖哩汁會較易入口;烘薯烤餅的餡是薯蓉,較為油膩,兩款烤餅都很韌和硬。

兩杯飲品也不太合口味,印度奶茶有很重的香草味,感覺像藥油的味道;芒果乳酪特飲的顏色和味道都很人造,口感就像開稀了的乳酪。

記得對上一次吃印度餐是在元朗一間有名的咖哩餐廳,估計有十年之久,當時雖然辣得滿頭大汗,但對印度食物的印象還算不錯。今次過吃過印度廚房,不知道下次再吃印度餐會是甚麼時候呢?

well done for having thought of this.The sheekh kebab is $34 for 2 pieces on a small sizzling plate. Great, that leaves room for other dishes like the chicken tikka, again smalller portion for $32.The half price, half sized portions makes it possible for even a groud pf 4 to try as many as we liked for a reasonable price.We had chicken tikka, sheekh kebab, tandoori prawn, all were done nicely. Meat was not burnt and moist inside. Sitting by the window you can see the chef pulling the meat out

The sheekh kebab is $34 for 2 pieces on a small sizzling plate. Great, that leaves room for other dishes like the chicken tikka, again smalller portion for $32.

The half price, half sized portions makes it possible for even a groud pf 4 to try as many as we liked for a reasonable price.

We had chicken tikka, sheekh kebab, tandoori prawn, all were done nicely. Meat was not burnt and moist inside. Sitting by the window you can see the chef pulling the meat out of the tandoor.

The curries are good too. Had lamb vindaloo with rice. Nice n spicey.

Fairly small place, 20 seats I think, so does get crowded.

午市幫襯叫了兩份午餐,主菜分別係烤雞同咖喱羊。烤雞鐵板上熱辣辣,烤得恰到好處,唔會好似有些舖頭燒到黑炆炆,雞肉亦非常入味,四個字:非常好吃!至於咖喱羊,同行者形容羊肉夠羶,但自己唔食羊,不便評價。不得不提仲有Naan!餅做得唔油有粉香,重要嘅係拎上手就覺足料夠份量。兩份餐分別$38同$42,跟餐仲有湯同胡椒餅,算抵食!是日餐湯辣辣地幾醒胃,胡椒餅亦好夠胡椒味,入口好香。我地仲加左錢要埋Mango Lassi,不過好似樓上話齌,呢樣野都係芒果加乳酪,度度味道都唔會差太遠,我自己就可以接受再甜少少。總括來講呢餐可以話好滿意,喺渡船角除左來來去去的腸粉、串燒,又多左個選擇啦!

~ 可選辣度, 我們點了中辣, 咖哩越吃越辣, 認真過癮。羊肉帶有少少羶味, 不羶又怎似吃羊肉呢??
香嫩羊肉, 充滿肉汁, 味覺一流呀!!

印度炒飯~
~ 友人喜歡吃印度米, 於是點到一個炒飯給她, 印度炒飯裡面有雞粒和什菜粒兜炒已成,。有獲氣, 夠乾身, 份量乾好,
不會因份量太多而吃不到其他餸菜。

餐湯和胡椒餅同時上桌。忌廉湯是沒有配料沒有味道的乳白色液體,不值一提,喝了兩口即擱下
。胡椒餅既薄而脆,偏鹹,濃濃胡椒香充斥口腔,尚可。邊吃邊看著被冷落一旁的湯,心忖好不浪費,遂把餅掰成小塊浸進湯裡吃吃看,果然好多了
!雖然只喝了四分之三 (餅太少了),盡力了還是叫我心情愉快。

咖哩和烤餅緊接上場。乍看份量不多,還以為自己非得再點別的,殊不知高估自己的胃納了。咖哩盛在一比家常飯碗稍大的碗內,顏色赭紅,辛香濃烈。初吃不算辣,愈吃愈辣 (辣度尚在我能承受之範圍內,頂多喝光汽水罷了

原味烤餅四大片 (一塊切開四份),不太熱,但乾身、軟韌又帶點麪粉香,蘸汁同吃,不過不失。若你喜愛印度咖哩或羊肉,如此價錢如此水準,值得一試。


回來上網搜尋,原來此店前身是位於尖沙嘴漢口道的印度菜館 India Palace:班子來自印度,香料如是,應是地道「正宗」風味罷。不過我向來不追求正宗,正宗又如何?又不是當地人
。與其正宗而不對味,倒不如對味而不正宗──這是我的「愚見」。儘管午餐配套未如理想,我還是願意為這深得我心的咖哩羊送上笑臉,權充一點小小的支持力量。

點了的食物:芒果lassi(乳酪)------好味,當然其實呢樣野飲本身好味,呢度整得冇話特別好唔好味,因為度度飲都好似差唔多味羊tikka(件)------好味,呢個烤羊肉,唔係好酥,而家烤完仲保留左佢既肉汁,一點都唔乾。好有味,唔辣。菠菜魚------本身想叫fish tikka, 但佢話冇晒,叫我地試下咖喱魚,我問佢咁d 汁係咪同咖喱雞會一樣,佢話係,所以suggest 我地點菠菜魚塊,好味道喎,唔覺得油,食落好似唔知乜蓉咁,唔覺似菠菜,總之好值得試。咖喱雞-------好味,唔辣的,要黎餸naan bread 真係一流!一碟大約有五舊雞塊左右啦。naan bread-------點了蒜蓉味及淨味,兩樣都一樣咁好食。淨味飽其實送架喱應該反而係最好!仲唔貴添!一客都係12 蚊!有三塊喇!地方逼左些,想慢慢坐或傾計,呢個地方唔多0岩。

前身是位於尖沙咀的india palace, 因租金問題, 現搬到少人流又不近大街地鐵的地方…看到雜誌介紹,而且愛吃印度烤餅, 特地去試同樣是地道印度菜, 它不像重慶那樣昏暗, 亦沒有太重的curry 味…服務態度很好,可能因為坐位不多店子較小, 較易照顧食客需要吃了:胡椒餅 – 胡椒味不太重, 要吃得很仔細才吃得出, 他們有一種酸酸的醬配來吃, 說會比較好吃… 咖哩什菜角 (2件) - 好好吃!!! 又大又脆咖哩味適中 原汁咖哩雞 – 肉較實, 薯仔好像比雞多… 原味烤餅 – 好吃! 沒有烤過龍而又焦又脆又苦牛油烤餅 – 跟傳統烤餅不同, 比較乾一點, 不像麵包質地…失去了原有的味道…熱牛奶球 – 不是人人接受到的甜品, 吃不出是牛奶, 只有牛油味…外表像熱了的麥提莎, 但外脆內不軟不硬,與想像中差很遠 印度雪糕 – 同樣是味道很與別不同, 但比牛奶球好Mango Yogurt – 味道不錯的飲品, 酸酸的PS. set lunch好抵食!!!!!! $38起有 胡椒餅, 咖哩配肉, 飯或烤餅, 飲品一杯絕對直得一試!!!

吃了:
胡椒餅 – 胡椒味不太重, 要吃得很仔細才吃得出, 他們有一種酸酸的醬配來吃, 說會比較好吃…
咖哩什菜角 (2件)
- 好好吃!!! 又大又脆咖哩味適中 [本人不愛太重味的所以覺得好好吃]
原汁咖哩雞 – 肉較實, 薯仔好像比雞多… [是1人份量,2個人share會覺得不夠汁 & 雞]
原味烤餅
– 好吃! 沒有烤過龍而又焦又脆又苦
牛油烤餅 – 跟傳統烤餅不同, 比較乾一點, 不像麵包質地…失去了原有的味道…
熱牛奶球
– 不是人人接受到的甜品, 吃不出是牛奶, 只有牛油味…外表像熱了的麥提莎, 但外脆內不軟不硬,與想像中差很遠 [鄰座的人都吃完的樣子都怪怪的]
印度雪糕 – 同樣是味道很與別不同, 但比牛奶球好
Mango Yogurt – 味道不錯的飲品, 酸酸的
