Remember one day, I can't wait to try Krispy Kreme doughnuts which I had been eating it many times in the US. The main differences is the Hong Kong store uses local favorite ingredients and the huge menu selection.This Causeway Bay shop provided a very friendly service and it's also located in a very convienent location. Looking for something light and easy in Causeway Bay without sacifice the taste. It got to be Times Square Food Court. This time I went to 大阪王將 for their set lunch and gyrza. I ordered: Egg on rice, gyrza, soup and a drink. The food was very tasty and very hot! Janaese gyrza's skin are light and filling is juicy. But the price is kind of high for a foodcourt set lunch and it cost $67 dollars.The main concern is the service, they gossiping about the previous customers and very playful at work. I had lunch in Causeway bay Azabusabo, and it was horrible!! Almost everything they served are cold, of course not only dessert but also the hot dishes. The only thing served warm is the tea and soup. I ordered two set lunch as:Beef curry and egg on rice, the rice is cold, the curry is cold and the egg is also cold, Oyako Don - Chicken egg on rice, YES everything are COLD!!!Finally for dessert, Seasame and green tea ice cream. Going to Wai Chai Computer Center, passed by this 雞蛋仔 shop and the line was long. From my basic instincts, this must be good!!! So I line up and give it a try. The shop using 6 雞蛋仔 hot plates and two experience workers. The line was moving very quickly but its started to build up again in no time.The 雞蛋仔 batter is very light with the hot temperature cooking surface and right timing, the end result is a crunchy exterior but soft interior 雞蛋仔. Very famous dim sum hotpot restaurant in Hong Kong Island and it used to be more expensive. Now they have a special deal with HSBC card holder, which you can order unlimited selective dishes for only $98. The selection included most meat, vegetable, tofu and carbohydrate items. But the down side is, customer have to order the hotpot soup separately as well as many extra changes, such as drinks, any special sauces etc. For example, 4 persons dinner with the cost of around $500.Last but not least, the food quality are great and the dim sum dishes are very unique and tasty. I haven't been in Hong Kong Bubba Gump before and this is my first experience on great Hong Kong view and wonderful American food.I went to many US Bubba Gump and this Hong Kong restaurant has one of the greatest view. Interms of food quality and interior design, it is very similar to the US.The only concern would be the service quality. This restaurant is located in 青衣 and serving trendy homestyle Cantonese food. We ordered the daily soup, eggs in tomato sauce, deep fried 九肚魚, combination soya chicken and baby pig BBQ, mushroom stir fried and fried rice noodles.So far, I really like the 九肚魚, BBQ combination and the soup very well. As we know this restaurant is famous for their chicken, but I ordered other food and it was also amazed me. Excluding the one whole chicken, we ordered hand minced pork with cuttle fish, braised fish tail with mustard cabbage, and baked egg with fish intestine.
