是日為連續兩週雨後初晴,心情大好,也想找間可以嘆陽光的餐廳,恰好記起RUAM位於Jsense平台二樓,有陽台戶外座位,環境頗佳,遂即興前往。約十二點半到達餐廳,星期五的中午,基本滿座。好彩一個人還是有位子的,還是戶外的座位且正巧在風扇旁邊,既可以嘆陽光又不驚熱,開心🥳餐廳裝修很有特色,平台上遍布綠植,粉紅色的櫃子,木製桌椅,盡顯南洋度假風情。午餐set分兩道菜和三道菜,區別是甜品。想坐多陣所以點了三道菜。服務生哥哥都很熱情,不過有几位貌似不太識講廣東話,英文溝通都ok。午餐小食選了chicken thigh satay,沙爹醬不錯,花生楖汁的南洋風味融合到位,雞腿肉烤得過了點,倒還是香口的。主菜選了pat Thai。這裡的炒金邊粉屬於較為潤口,不是乾身的。開邊大蝦十足彈牙,豆芽爽碎,豆乾、雞蛋、金邊粉裹著醬汁,不加任何佐料就很已經很順口了。加上花生碎、辣椒粉,擠上萊姆汁,更添几層香氣。再想要更多變化,旁邊還有魚露和白醋可供添加。不知不覺就解決了一整盤。甜品的芒果糯米飯。芒果夠甜,糯米煮得軟糯又不失咬口,搭配著不錯。個人偏好這道甜品芒果酸甜均衡,且糯米需加多一點鹽,能更襯托出甜味,也能解膩。總之是正常好吃的出品啦。另外,飲料選了泰式奶茶,可以少甜或走甜,服務十分貼心。買單168,加上加一,總共是185。在灣仔區這個收費加環境還不錯,特別推薦給這段時間想去泰國的朋友們,聊解相思之情。…Read More

18 grams在銅鑼灣有兩間分店,這間在Times Square地庫的Citysuper裡面。鋪頭不大,有四個座位,barista在bar臺裡操作。咖啡選擇black / white都有,調味奶咖也有,有時會有冰滴咖啡供應,個人覺得這裡的𣲙滴咖啡香濃但偏苦小小,也許是當日咖啡豆的關係。奶咖質素都不錯,和街對面的coffee corridor出品水準相若。特別推薦這里的soy milk coffee,豆奶選得好,香濃且亳無豆腥味,更是目前為止本人試過的,唯一可以和咖啡搭配的soy milk。問過店員,是Bonsoy牌的古法生機豆奶,貌似HKTVmall就有售。當然店員沖咖啡的手勢也很不錯。炎炎夏日逛商場累了在這裡小憩一下,嘆杯咖啡都不錯地。…Read More

這家Chickpea開在皇後大道東,很就腳。不知是否因為新開張,午餐時段外賣生意相當好,每次經過都看到店員往窗口前掛外送食品袋。目前試了兩次,都是選择weekly salad加上一款protein。上次的salad是茄子鷹嘴豆蒜瓣沙律,原名好像就是egg plant salad(?)。味道很不錯,茄子和鷹嘴豆非常綿軟又不失原本的口感,最令人驚喜的是蒜瓣,煮得十分淋身,且吃完口中沒有一絲蒜臭味,真真驚喜。沙律單點為88港元。當日的protein為stew lamb shank,羊香而不膻,口感豐胰,份量十足,索價才40,誠意滿滿。這次的weekly salad為fattoush salad,口感相對清新,有沙律菜葉、櫻桃蕃茄、青瓜片、石榴籽、fried pita bread。可惜pita bread脆度有了,但不夠穌松,著實有些難咬。即日protein為beef brisket,口感類似於中式燉牛腩,火候很好,份量也足。美中不足是有點咸。這家也是好多外籍同事近期的心頭好,特別是hummus bowl。推薦給附近返工上堂,想試試中東風味的同好們。…Read More

是日格外炎熱,愈發地想吃些重口味的菜式刺激一下精神,比如印度料理。灣仔區有不少好去處,今次就試了這間Jo Jo Indian Cuisine。餐廳位於唐樓二樓,入口有些隱蔽,樓上下貌似正在裝修搬材料,所以等電梯時間較久,走樓梯就比較適合我這種不耐餓的食客啦。平日午餐12:30去到餐廳都挺多人,好在自己一人不需要等位。甫一入門,辛香味迎面而來,店員多為外籍人士,在場也有不少印裔顧客,異國風情滿滿。落座時店員詢問是否點lunch buffet。在我確認後,店員表示可以點一杯飲料,另外現烤的naan也會隨後奉上。於是就選了mango lassi。不多時,這兩樣都上桌了。naan熱滕滕且蒜香撲鼻,mango lassi乳香濃醇,均是不俗。自助區食物品項不算多,但様様有水凖。從前菜講起,薄脆香口,油而不膩,配上不同的chutney sauces,滿滿地異國風情。個人最愛tamarind chutney sauce,即是羅望子醬,酸中帶甜,十分開胃。主菜方面,試了rogan josh(羊)丶chicken tikka malasa(雞)丶jalfrezi paneer (乳酪)丶dal tadka (扁豆)、Amritsar chole (鷹嘴豆)丶tandoori chicken。當日走運,趕上了一盤新鮮出爐的tandoori chicken,熱辣辣又啖啖肉,著實過癮。但味道而言,咖哩是沒有保溫的,微暖而已。這種情況下,私心排名當日第一的是rogan josh,羊肉處理得十分到位,食落口感絕佳,入口即化,加之rogan josh的香料,可謂一絕。豐富鐘意羊羶味的同好不仿一試。當日甜點為gulab jamun、ras malai和西瓜。印式甜點是公認的螞蟻人特供,非常非常捨得加糖,味道就見仁見智。不過個人覺得,雖說甜但香料用得很對路,小口品嚐別有一番風味。買單有加一,盛惠hkd 141。基本是餓得頭暈來,捧著肚子走,飽足又開心。不知lunch buffet菜色是否會時不時變更,但以今日的表現,定會有第二次光顧的。…Read More

Tried their plain croissant three years ago, when passing by the shop in very morning (before 9 am). Freshly baked croissant is always the best that one could get for a filling and fulfilling breakfast. Taking the chance of an early lunch break (12:00 p.m.), I went Bakehouse again for their signature egg tart. Lucky for me there is no queue for taking-away food, and I bought one egg tart and one raspberry frangipane tart, which in total costs HKD 54.The egg tart was delicious, but not really heavenly delicious. The special part that set its taste apart from KFC egg tart, were the balance between its crust and filling - compared to the KFC ones, this egg tart from bakehouse had a crust that was much less sweeter , much less oily, and more flaky (probably as a result of using sourdough) whereby the filling was a bit firmer and more “eggy”. One of the best egg tart I have ever tried, and could even win the combat with the egg tarts produced by Macau Andrew’s.Raspberry frangipane tart also scored 100 in terms of balancing the texture and flavor. juicy fresh raspberry on the top, layered by a generous portion of tardy fluid raspberry jam, then was the moist almond cream pie (frangipane) layer, the main source of sweetness, and outtier crust - crusty but not overly crispy. The sprinkle of pistachio gave extra nutty flavor. All in all, nicely produced, and consider it heavenly given its price.Definitely worth a try if lucky enough there is no queue :)…Read More

是日工作日晏昼來甘牌燒鵝,大約12點半,本來想得太好以為無需等位,結果名店還是名店,該等還是得等,前方已有十多人排隊。站在正午的太陽下,望著廚房已經烤好的一隻隻燒味,越看越餓。所幸午市翻臺極快,十五分鐘內已經可以落座。來之前已經想好要點撈麵+肥叉,並不是不愛燒鵝,只不過在午市如此繁忙的時段,指望得到熱氣騰騰新鮮出爐的任何燒味都是不現實的。既然如此,選擇味道受溫度影響最小的燒味,方為最優解。須知肥燶叉燒的油香,即便常溫下也是不失色的。落單後五分鐘內小食、老火湯、撈麵和肥叉全部上臺。興奮地咬一口肥叉,那燶而焦香的皮加上蜜汁滑入口中,正!再咬一口,肉汁丰盈,肥瘦合宜,這就是叉燒界的楊貴妃啊!撈麵也不遑多让,鵝油的香,加上咸淡适宜的調味,入口十分舒服。配上單上的撈麵湯,不知不覺就清盤了。例湯份量給得慷慨,有一大块排骨加一隻雞腳,真材實料,非常滿足。買單不到一舊水,享受到米芝連水準的美食,CP值爆表。…Read More

bookmark了好久的Mana!,今日终于试到。店面在MTR出口对面马路,交通很方便。店内装潢很异国风情,淡淡的薰香味飘散,令人瞬间放松。菜单可以选择salad、flat等诸多食物,先选品项,再选topping,最后是sause。这天选了large salad,盛惠hkd 135,可以选六款toppings,根据个人口味选择了mushroom portobello、caramelized onion、hummus、grilled cauliflower、fried Tempeh、baba ganoush(茄泥)。sause选择了油醋汁。准备时间非常快,沙律很大份,salad base为kale、rocket、baby spinach leaves,都很新鲜。toppings看似每份都不是很多,但咀嚼中慢慢就饱了。值得提一句,toppings调味都比较清淡,吃得出食物的原味,兼顾了美味很健康。午餐人流较多,大多是附近返工人士,间中也有身着瑜伽服来赏味的客人。不想午餐排队等位的话,外带貌似是更合理的选择。…Read More

惊喜,不断的惊喜

今次终于订到以分子料理闻名的Bo Innovation,一尝其午市和牛套餐。餐厅位于Jsense二楼平台,单独电梯入口,阳台处可以望见街景和修顿球场,餐厅装修走简约工业风,加以开放厨房,和分子料理的氛围很搭调。讲回前菜,婚姻滋味。餐厅首先以漫画展现了婚姻五味,酸甜苦辣咸。之后以不同形式的分子料理一一呈现每种滋味:咸,为分子小笼包;酸,为黑醋汤圆;苦,为苦瓜sorbet;辣,为烟熏jalapeno配红椒番茄;甜,为醉鹅肝拌红枣桃胶。道道精彩,处处惊喜。开场就是分子料理的极致呈现,视觉和味觉的双重享受。带来儿子,顾名思义,带子为主的料理。呈现极为写意,荷叶盘上片片粉白的带子,零星点缀的荷叶、藕片、紫苏花、罗勒油,以及清澈的花雕汤底,呈现了一方盛夏美景,荷叶田田,波光粼粼。食入也是一片清新,带子的鲜甜和花雕相得益彰,脆嫩的蔬菜给予了舌尖更丰富的口感,不知不觉清盘了。双鱼得水,首先,大赞盘子,形状好看,且上桌时热气腾腾,做到了米其林得星餐厅应有的细心。kinki鱼铺上鲜红的明太子,下方垫的是意式小米和鱿鱼切块,佐以金色咸鲜酱汁,零星乌鱼子屑洒在其上,又一次口感和视觉的双重惊喜。鲍罗万有,口感爽脆的鲍鱼片,垫以细滑豌豆泥,上面是咸鲜鱼子酱,和零星的指橙粒,吃一口味道也是包罗万有,格外满足。鸳鸯,一个“外表平平无奇”的超级惊喜,“肠粉”皮里包的蛋黄,切开来配合丝滑奶香芝士与黑松露屑一起入口,这种美味的冲击,实在难以用语言形容。今日目前为止最大的惊喜。和牛,佐以鲍鱼酱汁、虫草花、牛肝菌。无可挑剔的细嫩肉质,用刀轻轻一划就分开,入口即化,油香四溢,无比满足。个人觉得稍稍可以再商榷的是牛肝菌,略带草青味,个人感觉和整道菜的其他味道不是很和谐。但,和牛是无敌的,鲍鱼酱汁也是满分神作。(不是)鱼翅,pre甜点,分子料理小巧思,蜜糖jelly条,环保又有趣。百福添丁,小小米糊罐加上婴儿塑料匙羹,呈现的很有趣。食物配搭方面,朱古力mousse、梅干菜泡沫、焦糖脆脆,要想甜加点盐的经典范例。梅干菜的鮮在这里是意外之喜。五世其昌,甜醋为基底味道的收官甜品,苹果丁、姜醋酱、cream custard、紫苏花,天马行空却意外合拍的味道,给这一餐画下的完美的句号。不愧是米其林二星水准的餐厅,食品无可挑剔、惊喜连连,而服务和讲解也是周到细致,不枉此行。…Read More

午餐放工有点迟,突然很想吃主食,又担心分量太大,造成下午脑筋运转停滞,这么想着就看见了秦苑。店铺在星街,不大,满打满算约莫十个座位。店铺墙面上还挂着山西商会的锦旗。墙上列的菜品有:肉夹馍、凉皮、土豆肉夹馍、馄炖、紫菜汤,共五样,出品是小而精路线。店里堂食的客人不多,老板一边招呼着一边拌着凉皮剁着肉,感觉十分家常。落座点单肉夹馍和凉皮,老板细心问凉皮的辣度,并且表示店里的辣油重香不重辣,第一次光顾自然是听店家的。不一会儿凉皮上桌了,说是凉皮其实还是微暖的,凉皮厚薄适中,和泰式金边粉一般宽而比之略厚,重点是特别软糯顺口,配上香辣油格外妥帖。凉皮吃到一半肉夹馍也好了,剁得细碎的肉肉拌着腊汁,慢慢塞在烘热的白吉馍里,满得像吃豆人😀肥瘦适中的肉裹着喷香的汁水夹在外酥内软的馍里,咬落口咸淡正好,格外舒坦。三两口解决了满足的一餐,出来的时候正好听见老板和外带客人细心交代要及时吃避免走味,真的是间很不错的小店。…Read More

幾年前公司曾經在le reve包埸年會,當時對這個小店的食物印象頗深,所以終於今日午餐來重溫。本以為單點菜色會更優於包埸出品,畢竟是收千元一位的餐單,怎料,現實離梦想很遠,很遠。點了六道菜的tasting menu。此前已做足DD,對小食紫菜天婦羅及炸藕片頗为期待,希望愈大失望愈大,這面衣的厚度与留存的油令我疑惑:這明明是日法fusion餐厅,天婦羅必是基本功吧…面包是正常brioche,自家制黄油倒是味道甚好,咸鮮順口。到了前菜,小小兩個,炸櫻花蝦配烤麵包片,加吞拿鱼沙津配黑米cracker,味道不過不失,但有些平淡,實則未能起到开胃效果..鱼子酱gimmick足够,出埸自带仙气,味道正常。下層為三文鱼、芦笋、cream cheese和火腿酱汁。但不能理解厨师的不細心,把芦笋長條放在鱼子酱下,盒子這么小,把芦笋舀出來時很容易將其它东西跌落。188的收費可以做得更好。主菜一鵪鶉,調味尚可,櫻桃番茄與黑橄榄酱汁到位,但鵪鶉肉火候稍過。此外,番茄不酸,橄榄不咸,酱汁太稠且調味缺乏高光點。主菜二morel牛肚菌,牛肝菌加鲍鱼酱汁够鲜甜,菌和菜够清脆,但同鵪鶉一様的問題,酱汁太稠且調味无亮點。surpeise dish是tempura zucchini flower,花骨朵里面酿了櫻花虾和扇貝。翠玉瓜花很清脆水灵,只是,這酿进去的料實在令人疑慮,明明膺是爽脆的口感,為何又料理成黏稠一堆…主菜三金目鲷,所有品項中最好吃,鱼皮松脆,鱼肉滑嫩,毛豆和莴笋增加口感,罗勒油香氣十足。但,不理解為何櫻花虾需要做成黏稠的一坨,主厨是否對濃稠的酱有着深深地迷恋…终于到甜品,说是白巧克力慕斯流心芒果馅,慕斯正常甜度发挥,芒果不流心也不酸,完全无法中和慕斯带来的腻感。倒是旁边的生姜羅勒gelato值得一赞,就是融得太快…最后的小点,cheese cake大路货,倒是酸梅软糖全场甜品点睛之笔,够酸够甜也有百香果香气…買單出來只覺夢一埸,夢中似有無數黏稠酱汁迎面而来,附於舌苔之上久久阴魂不散…問我何時再來,答曰早已夢醒時分,萬不願重蹈覆辙重温此夢,不可一也不可再。…Read More
