I'm a global nomad, ethnically half-HK Chinese, half-Japanese, and have lived in HK, London, New York and various cities in the US, plus I've been fortunate enough to have done long stays in Paris, Tokyo & Kansai region, Beijing & Shanghai so far. Eating is a basic need that I relish. The type of establishment where the food is served is totally unimportant, and any cuisine can move me, but good quality produce and delicious foods are desires that define how I refuel & recharge! tee hee

this is the 1st time I have ever been moved enough to write a review on OpenRice. I ran into a neighbour who told me to try the $28 pistachio gelato & she was right! 😋 yummy -- no pressing need to pay for overpriced Venchi pistachio gelato anymore 🤣 The staff saw me eye the canelé & gently suggested I might want to try it. wow! it's possibly as good as Daniel in Ashiya, Japan! As someone who is half-Japanese & having been to France & Japan more times than I can count, I was impressed.
