餐牌簡而精 酒牌更吸睛

經過一個月前的 soft opening之後, 再一次踏足這家以french bistro 為主題的餐廳. Nez是法文鼻子的意思.店方希望客人的嗅/味覺可以同時鑑賞到餐廳裡的食物和佳釀.時間關係(其中一位朋剛為人父不久)加上經理的信心推薦 就任由店方發辨.先來一客牛肉tartare和off menu的hamachi carpaccio送酒,之後的法式田螺蒜香可口,還未吃完已經再點多一客. 再加上cold cut 同薯條, 一行四人已經要再開一瓶.主菜法式黃油鷄, off menu的 Cod fillet in seafood soup 和餐廳主打的青口亦都令人十分滿意. 有小小失望是 creme brulee 被心太軟和檸檬tart取代了. 值得一提是星期四晚店入面全坐滿年青人,似乎是口碑不錯吧. 另外店方的wine list 和reserve wine list 都幾value for money㗎. 看看剩餘的馬季馬會能否資助小弟一賞心願 嘻…Read More

老板仔是一個很有魄力的八十後,對客人熱誠,對出品也有要求。今晚趁法國生𧐢買一送一,所以今次就由老闆仔介紹三款。果然不時不食,當造的法國生𧐢肥美可口,海水味和新鮮𧐢味雙得益璋。所以老婆大人連隨再來another round. 之後是少律跟湯,龍蝦湯味不咸不淡,反而洋蔥湯味淡了一點和洋蔥不夠。主菜的羊扒有一點overcooked,幸好羊味還不錯。豬扒在西餐中印象最好是波士頓餐廳的加了肉鬆粉,所以無論Drawing Room, Oyster and Wine 和這裡的豬扒都因為太厚有如嚼爉一樣。幸好餐廳現在有新的甜品補救。聽說還有新的捷克菜單登場,看來很快又要來捧場了。…Read More

住在跑馬地差不多九年。變遷歷歷在目,老店如金屋、三盞燈和韓國餐廳已變成銀行地產美容。食店在此生存真不容易,第一,無午巿,晚巿番枱客少;第二,租貴且本區競爭大;最後是外區客不多而且只貪新鮮。連此店前身的Two Rooms縱有首屈一指的奶昔也要関門大吉。今次是第二次光顧,二人只點三個小菜,柚子沙律調味不剛不柔,略熑柚子肉飽滿不足。蝦餅卻驚喜萬分,無論火侯,口感,和味道都很有水準,廚師應下了一番功夫令蝦膠打至彈牙才下鑊。最後燒春鷄雖然是雪鷄但肉身滑又嫰,略咸但和泰式酸甜醬互補長短。中上之選。鄰卓二人也將咖喱蝦一掃而空。希望此店能集中做好已經精緻的menu choice可以在跑馬地站得住腳生存。始終用心做飮食的人在香港又能成功的真是少之又少呀!…Read More

早上健完身,諗住去七仔買份報紙拜讀王迪詩週末專欄,經過添好運有位,反正未食早餐,便來個活在當下,一盅兩件吧!中環直是中西融合的地方,左有中年人跟老外解釋內地通漲,右邊有三母女談論鏞記爭產。前有毒男活在自己的宇宙中。先上枱是鮑汁鷄腳,size適中,可以豪邁地將整隻放入口中品嘗,鷄腳入味又不至於over cooked溶溶爛爛。然後蝦餃上場,$22四粒size 適中,餃皮尚算晶瑩,皮身適中但亁身一挾即破,應該是搓粉時油的比例小了。餡料不見豬肉,蝦仁見腸泥更無蝦味,除了夠熱之外,吃得淡出鳥來。隨著來的是潮州粉果餡料只有菜甫和沙葛,豬肉又不見了。以上兩種點心今次來說比急凍點心略勝一籌-新鮮而已!此店強項是煎炸點和腸粉因為香口和鮮滑嫰口,蒸點真的談不上米芝蓮呀!千萬不要因為中環租金或因為老店goodwill的因素而不進則退。…Read More

幫朋友攪生日,因為壽星女同我都往跑馬地,同埋班朋友愛熱閙,所以訂了成日幫襯的南亭。係十二月中,同相熟店員訂包場,佢話要四千蚊訂同八千蚊最低消費。心諗八千蚊唔計酒水都一定過啦。當時人數二十人,我話會再加人數的,仲叫佢當日唔好接訂枱,一來朋友們想盡慶,二來想廚房可以出食物快點。到一月三號,人數加到二十八人,經理仲話免切旦羔同開瓶,當時仲想自己係熟客,點知睌飯就出事。一月六號七點,到場才知原來不是包埸,只係普通訂位,仲要的位係迫過以前。唔特止一個人都未到,已經將燒好的鷄翼上碟。佢地話從無答應包全埸,又話包埸不是這個價錢。但解釋不到點解要收四千蚊訂。好在我朋友有修養無同佢嘈,但因為地方太少,強行加插的坐位太迫,變成整晩都要企係度食。又因為廚房出食物慢,有成三次食煙時間。鷄翼無味,蘆荀煙肉卷同鵝肝又老。服務更加差,換碟慢,表現不耐煩,大佬張單成兩萬幾,多謝都無聲,老麥都好招呼過你。又食唔飽,又坐得唔舒服。好在壽星女無詐我形。不過以後無咗我地呢班會存酒,過年派利是的熟客同整臭你老闆個朶了。…Read More
