i was looking forward to order and try their food as many good review about the Egg Toast with soft shell crab....which I just ordered and ate with the banh mi traditional and fried shrimp cake.Egg Toast with Soft Shell Crab: a toast + egg + 1 lettuce and a soft shell crab. Nothing special, egg is plain, toast bread is a bit sweet so weird with salted dish...so I just ate the crab along and left the rest. We were looking for a great dinner place among Grand Hyatt restaurant, almost went to their steakhouse when we saw this sign...and went to the small mall to check the restaurants out there...not many so we decides to to to this place...at first we thought it was closed as the main door seems quite secret...and when we entered there were no customer so we were quite doubtful about it but decided to stay and give it a try as we were alone and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. What a surprise when the food came!!! we ordered Salmon sushi, which was so yummy we decided we ordered a couple more...the same for foie gras sushi....my favourite! dreaming about it! We had also angus teppanyaki, beef was tender and yummy; the udon was great and simple and the fried rice is very yummy too! We have read many good reviews about the beef & egg sandwich of this place, living in the area, we decided to go after our swim session. We were excited to try their famous egg & beef sandwich! When we arrived, we ordered the pork knuckles noodle soup and 3 sandwiches, the soup arrived quite fast but was quite tasteless...so we were craving for their sandwich which came very late as they forgot our order. First bite, quite disappointing, strong sweet taste, similar to MSG and the beef is soft and of weird taste too, a bit oily. We forced ourselves to finish it and were quite disappointed...I guess taste are quite different for everyone but it was not our cup of tea at all, wouldn't go back for sure. Great Vietnamese joint for comfort food and coffee. Lovely banh mi and pho soup!😍 Must try if you are around the area. Tried most of the dishes and best for banh mi with traditional pork like we can find in Vietnam streets, pho, fried and fresh rolls. Tried also the nice salads. 🤗…Read More
