It’s gone to shit
Pazzeria Italian Brewery
2018-05-05
I use to like coming here. In the past the staff and manager were knowledgable about the beer and could give good advice on what to try. The same cannot he said now. The staff are useless and don’t have a clue about beer and the manager seems equally inept. When ordering I asked a staff member if they have anything ‘Amber’ with a citrusy taste’ she then went to ask the manager. On her return she said ‘no there isn’t one’. I said I needed more time to look, when she came back I ordered number 12 who’s first two words in the description were, yep you guessed it, ‘amber’ and ‘citrus’. We had a couple more beers but my friend wanted to finish with a half. We asked if possible and they said they had half glasses. When the drink came, it was a very sorry looking half poured into a lonely looking pint glass. Finally we asked for the bill and it was around $380. We paid with a $500 and waited for the change. The waitress came over and said ‘you paid?’ And we said ‘yes’ she said ok you can go now’. To which we replied were waiting for our change you cheeky ..... Won’t be going back again. :(…Read More

great taste at a cheap price
One Dim Sum (Tung Choi Street)
2017-01-21
Great dim sum at a cheap price. The dim sum here is pretty traditional. Other places try to modernise their dishes and it's not always great. However, One Dim Sum keep is simple and tasty. Whenever I have people visit me from overseas we always take a trip here. Best dishes/ must haves are the ham shui gok, bbq rice roll, bbq bum, mango dessert and the turnip cake. waiting time is usually quite long but staff do a good job of taking the orders before entering and giving updates on progress while waiting to go. Because of it's popularity, it's a little rushed when in the restaurant, after you finish eating you're out and the next lot come in. If you're looking for somewhere to have lunch while traveling or eat great dim sum for a cheap price this is the place to go.  …Read More

samurai A pity that this shop only provides hasty and brief meals and not a place you can spend some time chatting and enjoying some leisure.

C'est Bon!
The Local French
2017-01-21
Lovely authentic french food at a good price. The restaurant is ran by a young couple. A french man and Hong Kong lady. He told us almost all the ingredients are imported from Europe. You can really tell when tasting the food ,especially the cheese. We went as a small group of friends for lunch, five people. One of which was a french  guy who recommended the place due to the number of authentic french dishes on the menu ;) The restaurant itself is a cosy cafe style, with a calm atmosphere and has really nice personal customer service. The two couple who own it are friendly and chatty. Didn't feel rushed to eat and leave. When it was time to order the guys who own the restaurant with really flexible and let us take our time and wait for all of our party to arrive. Friends ordered a couple of salads and a traditional french pizza. I ordered the tartiflette. It was lovely and creamy.  The tartifette is a mountain dish with a hearty flavour. It consists of potatoes, bacon, onion, cream and reblochon (the ripen cheese made in the Alpine region of Savoy)  Then had the dessert of the day, chocolate tart. Made in house. It was also delicious. Very rich in flavour. Everyone was happy with their food. Will definitely go back! …Read More
