First of all: too small and tight seating. The furniture do not justify the height of tables and chairs. It's awkward and uncomfortable to be seated at an either too tall or too short table. Also, food took an hour to come and didn't even fulfill our orders. Also, it tasted bad as in old seafood improperly prepared. We had nothing to drink for 45 minutes. They even gave wrong dishes and took it back when we ate from it before we realized. All in all, a very disappointing experience today. Oysters were very salty. Both times we were here, we noticed it's managed by local inexperienced and below standard F&B labour not able to take initiative serving guests and making sure their orders come within reasonable time. We were in need to tailor a corporate anniversary cake with 1 week urgent notice and they were very inefficient in working with us, due to their own mismanagement. They were able to do everything on time and explained everything well enough at first enquiry call, but then after, they just gave up by returning one reply by email saying 'the ideas are out of your budget', while we asked for their pricing instead. They never came back after and ignored the request. Seems like it's very hard for them to handle outside ideas, but that was what they wanted constantly and asked for constantly. We planned our wedding with this venue on 8th Sept. for about 9 months to 1 year of preparations and they cannot handle any English speaking and event's background's professionals here. Very low common sense, inflexible, no understanding, bad internal management, not international / multi cultural and highly inefficient and not experienced in events management. Throughout the year, they could not handle our liaising, communication, coordination at all and always had problems. Their chosen suppliers / vendors also are of low quality, even used bad language and politics to release their pressure to customers/clients. We never experienced such a bad venue before in Hong Kong with a classy venue. On-site during our wedding, they let us deeply down because of their bad quality AV displaying our wedding opening video all wrong and stuck! How embarrassing as an opening!
