餐廳從灣仔搬到中環,由 Chez Patrick 改名為 la Table de Patrick 後,是第一次光顧,在沒有加價的情況下,選料的質素仍能保持,在現今香港這經營環境,實屬難得。時令的 white asparagus salad,從presentation 到味道都清新吸引,用的所有菜和花葉,片片新鮮,朵朵飽滿,dressing配合得恰到好處,為我的味蕾作好準備食主菜;主菜是 pork collar 伴 blue cheese sauce,一般人並不會把兩種濃味的食材放在一起,但此主菜的醬汁並沒有蓋過肉的香味,反而相得益彰,十分驚喜! 3rd course 要了 cheese platter,Chef Patrick 又一次充滿熱誠地介紹各種精選,點了我最愛的 Epoisse 和其餘三種他的推介,最後來一杯 chamomile ,隨荼附上 candied orange dip with chocolate ,十分滿足地完成一頓午餐。近年香港新開了不少法國菜餐廳,都是由法國廚師主理,但礙於高昂的租金,有些餐廳會將貨就價,降低食品質素,或是將價就貨,貴得難以經常光顧,像 Chef Patrick 這樣平衡兩者實在不多,第一次寫食評,為的是向 Chef Patrick 至敬,salute!…Read More
